Great location, right in middle of walled city. I was travelling by motorcycle but despite hotel being in pedestrianised zone, it was easy to park bike (for free) only 120m away. Lifts to take luggage up to second floor. I had a small single room, it was very comfortable and clean with fridge and great bed. Good breakfast included, amazing value for such a popular city.

My stay at Hotel Las Moradas was exceptional from start to finish. First of all, the location of the hotel is excellent being within the historic city walls and close to the main sights and bars/restaurants. It was well worth asking for dining recommendations from the staff too as one of the restaurants mentioned proved to serve outstanding food and drink at reasonable prices. On arrival, reception was friendly and efficient. As I hadn't booked breakfast, one of my questions was if it might be possible to buy this on the day and it proved straightforward as the extra cost was simply added to the bill on checkout. My room was very spacious and, in addition to a comfortable bed, included a sofa, table and chairs. One of the most pleasant surprises was that the bathroom included both a bath and a shower, so it was possible to have a relaxing bathe after a day's sightseeing. Breakfast was buffet-style, generous and well worth the money. Though I stayed for just two nights at Hotel Las Moradas, this was perhaps my favourite accommodation during my recent holiday in the region.

Ávila is one of my favorite cities in Spain to visit and I have stayed at Hotel Las Moradas several times now. It is centrally located in between the main Cathedral and the Basilica de Santa Teresa, two places I spend a lot of time in. The rooms are clean, affordable and the breakfasts are exceptional. All of the staff there are very friendly and helpful, and they make my stay so special and comfortable.

Location was just inside the walled historic city center and within minutes to the cathedral and other monuments . Public parking was a 5 minutes walk just outside the city gate. A small supermarket is just across and down the street from the front of the hotel. We had a triple room, which had plenty of space and beds were very comfortable. An elevator was provided . The only complaint is that the carpets in the hallway were very smelly. Seems that they used dirty water to clean the hall carpets.

Great location just inside the town walls. The walk to the train and/or bus station is reasonable (if you like to walk). The staff was very nice. My room was quite large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was your typical European spread … pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, muesli, coffee. While nothing special, I do appreciate not having to go out and find breakfast first thing in the morning.

The pillow on my two-person bed spread over the entire width of the bed. The second pillow in the cabinet was a little shorter, but still very long. This wasn't awful as I was traveling alone, but it would have been more inconvenient with a partner ... at least I tend to turn my pillow at a bit of an angle when I sleep on my side. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. There were a lot of pre-wrapped pastries instead of fresh; perhaps this was because I was there in the slow season. There also were not any hot options already prepared, but the breakfast room was well staffed and they always offered to make me something hot. Again, this was probably because I was there in the slow season ... I was the only guest in the breakfast room one of my mornings.

The service was good. Any issues encountered during the stay were promptly resolved by the staff. The room was bright and clean. The hotel has a great location and offers good value for money.

However, the soundproofing of the room was not ideal — door slams and the noise of furniture being moved could be clearly heard.

Good hotel but noisy. People on the corridor very loud at 11pm and again I heard voices at 5.30 am from my room, the latest, probably the staff working on the same floor preparing everything for breakfast, I understand they need to talk, but they could talk at a lower voice at such time of the day.

Location of the hotel is excellent, close to the catedral and to the most interesting places of Avila. Room is very comfortable and bed, great. Staff is very kind and ready to answer all your questions.

outdated interiors, small rooms. Clear instruction about location of parking and its pricing would reduce stress. Wasted 30 minutes to find the parking.

The location was excellent, barely two minutes from the cathedral and one of the access points of the wall, most other locations to visit reachable on foot within 10-20 minutes. Staff was friendly and the place was not spotless but clean in every way that matters. Stay was very uncomplicated and pleasant for the price.
