The breakfast was very good, nice and fresh and good quality. The location was very convenient, and it is a pretty remodeled historic home. Pricing was very similar to other properties in the area. Room was clean, plenty of hot water and good shower. Pizza in restaurant looked delicious but unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Monday.

We had a room on the first floor, and unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the room above. You could hear every step, suitcases being rolled along the floor, items being dropped. Highly recommend perhaps and area rug in the top floor rooms, otherwise guests below are woken up early or kept up at night. That was my only issue.

Nicely modernised building, around an inner courtyard, used for eating and socialising. Lovely, helpful staff. Room had the necessary basics and a comfortable bed in one corner. Just enough room for our dog’s bed under the window. Great location, within the ancient walled city of Ávila, very close to cathedral and main square but surprisingly quiet. We had a couple of starters, which were good but can’t comment on the breakfast selection. The secure parking is nearby but one of the tightest underground garages we have ever negotiated. Ok for a smaller car but if you have an SUV/ larger vehicle ask for a larger bay as they are limited. Yanet was on front desk duty when we arrived and was very helpful.

Our bathroom had a slightly unpleasant smell of drains. Ok once aired.

A contemporary small hotel in a very historic city, with the huge bonus of its' own parking just around the corner. The slope down to the underground car park was - amazingly for simiilar properties in Spain - relatively easy to get our admittedly smallish Peugeot 208 hire care into and out of, and the parking space was big as well.

Breakfast didn;t start until 830 at the earliest, which would usually have been fine - however we needed to leave around 8am so were unable to take advantage of it.

The hotel is located in the heart of old town inside the walls. From the small balcony of the room facing the street, you can see the Cathedral. Just a short walk to restaurants and historic sites. Avila is a MUST visit place in Spain. The staff was courteous and breakfast was delicious.

All went well. I wish the “balcony” was larger, but I u feet and the limitations due to historical preservation.

The walled city is relatively small, so no matter where you are, you can get to all the places, but I liked the fact that the hotel is near the main gate. Staff was friendly. I found the mattresses and pillows a bit too thin for my taste. And the room lacked a lamp on the desk for reading / writing. These last 2 observations are easily fixed and in no way would disqualify the hotel.

The parking is tricky but glad to have it. There needs to be a way of communicating when guests arrive so the gate can be opened in advance for the car park. Also a description needed as to the location of the car park. The drive down to the car park is a little tricky but again, glad to have the car safely and securely parked.

The location was amazing for walking around the town inside the walls. The building was lovely, the staff were super friendly and the helpful. They advised on where to park the car and recommended where to eat. The size of room was great and it had a good bathroom with a nice shower, Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was quiet.

The room we had was very dark but we did only book on the day. We found the bed and the pillows too hard for our liking. We would still stay in this hotel again.

Rooms are pretty good and comfortable, location excellent, bang in the middle of the old town by the cathedral, staff are friendly and attentive. They take dogs which is good as we have one. Breakfast has 5 or 6 pre-set menus for a fixed price (around 10 to 12 euros) which makes sense for a small hotel (the person on reception also serves breakfast).

The hotel arranged some parking nearby which worked well but accessing the car park is tight for an Audi A6, not a criticism just an observation - somewhat typical for an old medieval town centre where space is cramped. Mixed experience in the restaurant one evening, very good pizza but a poor salad starter dish.

Location in the old town was excellent, they arranged parking which we paid extra for. Breakfast was excellent, they catered for my gluten free diet easily. Room was modern and nice, bed was very comfortable.

As we were on the 2nd floor the roof sloped which meant you had to be careful not to hit your head! Air conditioning was very weak, but as the evening cooled down a lot we could leave the top window open, so no problem.

Room size, cleanliness, layout and extras, like the little open-air terrace, made this stay stand out during our 2-week family road trip around Spain. Not to mention the convenience of the location, in the heart of stunning old-town Ávila and the excellent breakfast.

Only minor complaint is that there was no bathroom door (modern-design choice) or way to cover the shower, so other people staying in the same bedroom, entirely outside the bathroom proper, would have full view of your "humanity", head to toe, as you take your shower. You better feel very comfortable in your skin and have full trust in the individuals you're sharing your bedroom with.
