Perfect location in the middle of the old town within the City Walls. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the guy who checked me in was very nice and welcoming all throughout my stay, as were all other members of staff I saw. Since Covid, it's become rather common to be faced with untrained grumpy staff all over the world, it was refreshing to see only nice people. If you guys are reading this, thank you! Room was large, with nice French windows, comfortable beds, a big desk (perfect as I needed to do some work!), and even a bathtub. I also was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a fridge. Didn't expect it (probably in the room description but didn't read all details I guess). It was nice to be able to keep some chill drinks in the room. I was also surprised to have a light breakfast (cake and tea/coffeee) as a free add-on (room did not include any meal). The breakfast room is also quite charming, although I do wonder why they cover the glass ceiling, it'd be even lovelier if we could see the sky.

If I really have to point something out - could have done without the tacky decorations with butterflies. Felt like a 5 yo had been put in charge of finding art for the walls Internet was definitely not the best. I gave up on using it after my calls kept cutting off, and used my phone internet instead A kettle and cups in the rooms (or free to use in the common room) would make this place perfect, but really that's details

Everything about the property was wonderful! Very close to the cathedral. On the Camino. We were walking to Camino, and we’re leaving from Madrid, and needed to leave our packs there. Both receptionists, Cristina and Jesus were very helpful!

Fabulous location...2 minute walk to the cathedral right in the center of the historic district. Very clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed . Fridge in the room. Soap supplied in the bathroom. Nice entrance to the hotel with complimentary coffee and cake for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located inside the imposing Avila Walls so that makes the experience special. It is less than 200m from one of the main gates next to which is the entrance to one of the three sections of the walls that are open to the public. It is also no more than 500m from the top attractions in Avila and about 1.6km from the Cuatro Postes Lookout for a panoramic view of the Avila Walls in their entirety. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, gelaterias and shops well within walking distance from the hotel. The room itself was very comfortable and the bathroom sink is huge which makes doing simply laundry a lot easier. There was also complimentary muffins and coffee for breakfast and that was appreciated.

Wow! When you are budget traveling, it's not very often that you are blown away by a hotel. Antika Snoga went way past our expectations. It was perfectly located, very clean and quiet, the staff were amazing, the room was nice, the bathroom was great, and they even surprised us with some coffee and a muffin when we got up. If we come back to Avila, there is no doubt this is where I would want to stay.

Firstly the reception. Friendly greeting and clear explanation re keys, location? Wifi, coffee facilities.As well Room was spacious and window looking out, breakfast provided and use of a small kitchenette in a lounge area to eat own food . Exceptionally polite and friendly interactions throughout stay . Great location

It was very near the Cathedral and other shops, restaurants, etc. If you are a practicing Catholic, you will appreciate that it is right next door to a lovely small Blessed Sacrament chapel which stays open till very late. There is a lovely lounge and freshly made coffee by the receptionist and a muffin or slice of cake is served for breakfast for free. The room and is very spacious. Luggage storage was easy.

The property had a nice and cozy environment. The room was a dream and we enjoyed the little time we were there. The staff in the reception (morning shift) was very informative and extremely friendly. If we come back to Ávila, this place will definitely be the one we will book again. Thank you very much for your attention and care.

The staff was nice, the room was clean and amazing with bathtub, the location is excellent. They give free breakfast with coffee and some cake from 8:30.

At night they turned off heating, so the room was very cold. The beds were moving and loud when you lay down or sit up. The breakfast could be sooner.
