I ended up staying in the sister hotel across the road from Arco San Vicente the Sofraga Palacio due to a mix up in my booking The Sofraga is a lovely period hotel classically furnished and great rooms The restaurant was great for drinks with a deal on with free tapas not to be turned down Breakfast was equally delicious with plenty to choose from I can’t fault the hotel Sofraga the outside cafe is equally great serving food and drink for guests or non guest Lovely walk in shower and spacious bathroom too like the bedroom

No toilet brush in the bathroom all I can think of which I was surprised about considering it’s a four star hotel

Loved the location! So close to everything we came to Avila for! The hotel had the traditional atmosphere we were looking for! The room was cute and had everything we needed. Loved having the patio for tbe afternoon sun! The staff were helpfull and the cleaning of our room was exceptional! Thank you to our chamber maid! Would definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

The location is just great, close to everywhere, really worh the price at all! The lady was very kind to us as the explained how to enter at anytime since the main door closed at 4pm. Cozy facilities and clean, the room was small but comfortable. I definitely would come back!

We appreciate the friendliness of the staff and how close it was to the Muralla de Ávila. The location was excellent.

This is minor, but one of the beds didn't have a night lamp. There were three of us in a room. Also, a few towel hooks in the bathroom would have been helpful for drying.

Superb location, brilliant staff. breakfast was great. very comfortable beds, large balcony on which we were able to put up a washing line.

shower above the bath, difficult to get in and out. The lights in the underground car park switched off after such a short time we were left in the dark. No air con.

It is in a nice location just inside the famous walls of Avila. It is a friendly and efficient family-run hotel. The only drawback is the lack of secure parking for a motorbike, but this can be overcome.

Staff were perfect, very professional and patient, Hotel was that ideal combination of historical but very well maintained, and located within the walls and near one gate of the old city. To get a light dinner on Saturday night before 8:30 pm was challenging so finally slunk into a Burger King with an active but friendly group of teenagers. Was stunned by the most beautiful view out huge windows of the snow capped hills. Also enjoyed a BK beer with my view and meal 😊.

Very central location. The staff was very friendly and tried to make our visit pleasant. We was able to have the door to the backyard open at night for fresh air.

For the price I can't think of anything.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is! The service was fantastic! The room was wonderfully clean every day! The location was amazing! We had a problem with the shower the very first night and it was fixed so quickly!
