The hotel is situated in a great location, a 5-minute walk from Place de Catalunya. The staff was very nice and helped us with everything we asked for. The hotel is very clean; everything is always well maintained.

The only negative aspect I have to mention is the lack of soundproofing. In our room, we could hear everything happening on the street—cars, ambulances, and people talking loudly. Additionally, we were able to hear everything from the hallway, such as people talking and doors opening

The property was centrally located, but the beach isn’t as close as you think. The property was clean, very good facilities, good interiors. Beds were super comfortable and cozy! The free coffee (Nespresso) downstairs was excellent (biscuits and dark chocolate too!). But mind you, you don’t get coffee and tea facilities in the room then. We arrived earlier than our check in time, we were still allowed to use their facilities and keep our bags there whilst we explored Barcelona. Everything is close by but fair amount of walking if you don’t want to take the metro (5-8 min walk away). Shopping close by too. After check out until our departure time we were again allowed to use their facilities and keep our bags there. Thank you for the lovely stay 🙏

I had a wonderful stay at Acta Atrium Palace! I came to Barcelona to support my son in the half marathon, and the hotel’s location was absolutely perfect. It was right in the middle of the race route, giving me plenty of spots to watch him run—I could even see him pass by from the hotel itself! Plus, being close to the beach was a great bonus. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day off right. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help. When my room felt too hot (since it was still winter in Barcelona and the heating was on, with the option to turn it off but not switch to air conditioning), they listened to my concerns and quickly provided me with a fan to ensure my comfort. Their excellent service and hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

I had an exceptional experience at the Hotel , The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to La Rambla, making it ideal for exploring the city. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We arrived early in the morning, and they allowed us to check in at 9 AM as the room was available. Additionally, we requested a room change to one with a balcony overlooking the street, and they made it happen the next day once the room was ready. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of options to start the day. A special mention to the restaurant manager, She was extremely kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend for its excellent service, prime location, and wonderful staff. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Barcelona.

I read some negative reviews about the hotel before booking, and one stood out to me: “This should be a 3-star hotel.” Despite this, I decided to book it, albeit with lowered expectations, as I was visiting Barcelona for a self-funded volunteering activity and wanted to manage my expenses. In many ways, the hotel turned out to be perfect for me, given its star rating, price, and location. In fact, the hotel exceeded my expectations. I’m not interested in staying at super-modern international chain hotels that often feel lifeless. Instead, I wanted to experience a true Barcelona hotel, and this one delivered. While I don’t know its history, I could feel it in the ambiance of the place. Its central location, nestled between the old and new parts of the city, offered the perfect base to explore. Stepping outside, I could immerse myself in both the historic and modern sides of Barcelona, all within walking distance. The hotel staff also felt distinctly Barcelonian—or perhaps Catalan. While they didn’t come across as overly enthusiastic or overly accommodating, they were warm-hearted and genuinely cared about whether I was enjoying my stay. Their cool, relaxed attitude was refreshing. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was far more affordable than many international 4-star hotels in the convention center area. The facilities were a bit outdated, but honestly, I came to experience the beauty of Barcelona, not to admire the furniture and decor of my hotel room. If I visit Barcelona again, I’ll definitely choose this hotel.

The hotel is not a modern and bit dated. The price is bit high

This hotel is only 5 min walking distance from 2 main metro stations. The rooms are very spacious, our king sized bed was very comfortable. We loved the breakfast too, great quality, sortiment of typical spanish dishes and some extras, like freshly baked pancakes or omelettes. The staff is very friendly, we loved the possibility of early check-in and late check-out. Free coffee during the whole day with some shortbreads and chocolates.

Great location. A fully equipped room. I love it! The spacious bedroom has a private area for unpacking, a make-up area, a large bathroom, bathrobes, all kinds of personal care products, toiletries and a bidet. Nothing can be better about the location. Very close to toristic spots. Cool neighborhood. Lots of stores and restaurants around..

There are recommendations to use less water throughout Spain. For this reason, sometimes there is little water after flushing the toilet. Then you have to try your luck again. And no toilet brush for some reason? The room part is good, but a small decoration change can be made for the toilet. But its current state is already functionally good and complete bathroom.
