Apologies on my review there was a typo that said rooms weren’t spotlessly clean’. I meant the total opposite. They were perfectly clean and a wonderful hotel to stay in. I’ve stayed twice and would highly recommend.

Little boutique accommodation in a great location in Barcelona. Not in the high tourist area or overly expensive fashion area but small walk to most attractions and facilities. You don’t spend too much time hanging around your room in Barcelona. There is too much to do. A real highlight was the super friendly and helpful staff member on duty that day. He was full of great advice and we saw one place we would never have gone too. It was amazing. Only one small flight of stairs to negotiate or take the lift. Nice outside area to listen to the sound of an amazing city. And watch the swifts in the sky❤️ We loved our stay.

The hotel was beautiful and the location quiet. The room was clean, well appointed, full of charm and spacious with our own little living room. The Nespresso machine and fridge were very welcome. There was a lovely terrace near the room where we could drink our coffee in peaceful surroundings. It was easy to reach the accommodation from the airport via bus or metro and everywhere was within walking distance. The additional touch of coffee and pastries for breakfast was great if you were around between 9 and 11. Camil was very kind, his english was excellent (unlike our Spanish) and he was really helpful with directions, suggestions and luggage arrangements. They were kind enough to store our luggage securely on the last day and would have looked after it if we had arrived early for check in too. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Violeta Boutique.

“My stay was absolutely perfect! The hotel’s atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing; the rooms were impeccably clean, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. The common areas had a modern design while still offering a warm and inviting vibe. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Each team member greeted guests with a smile and quickly addressed any needs. The reception team, in particular, was very solution-oriented and made me feel special with their personalized approach. It was truly an unforgettable experience, and I can’t wait to visit again!”

Location was excellent, we could walk to all the major attractions or close to public transportation, metro lines and bus. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant, always asking if we needed anything and giving us recommendations for our visit. The hotel is charming with character and the light breakfast was much appreciated to start our day.

The shower drain was a bit slow and the TV remote didn’t work, although it wasn’t something we really needed.The elevator is small, a bit snug even with our light luggage and 2 people.

Location was excellent, tucked in quiet street yet within short walking distance to Plaza Catalunya, Passeg de Garcia, Las Ramblas with plenty of cafes, restaurants and amenities. The room was exactly as shown in the photos we had a spacious room with high ceiling, clean, and tastefully decorated. The absolute icing on the cake was the chap at the front desk and I am so sorry not to have taken down his name - he was extremely courteous, helpful and gave us tips to a couple of amazing restaurants!

Camille went far above all expectation to ensure our comfort and to give sight seeing advice! He was always available and helpful with luggage transport, good restaurant recommendations, taxi scheduling, metro directions. He made our visit run smoothly in spite of our infirmities. On our departure day he was off, but he had briefed his replacement on the help we would require for a taxi and assistance taking our luggage to the street. The people made it fantastic even though the thermostat did not work and our room ran too cool for us. The bed was very comfortable!

Too cold in the room and a broken thermostat. Shower was slippery for an elderly person with no wall bars.

We stayed for 3 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment with a terrace. The place was very comfortable and clean, great AC, very comfy beds and powerful showers with great water pressure, blackouts in every window. The location was amazing and the staff very friendly, kind and honest. They charged my card a little more by mistake, and Philip took the time to let me know right away and did a refund without me even asking. The building is very old, but very charming.

Camille- he was A1+, gave recommendations and very hospitable, knew the city inside out, does his job with a passion to deliver service to the public and I'm experienced in Hospitality Globally. Every one of the staff were helpful and provided a great service 👏. The location was excellent, in the range of everything, 2 mins from Plaza dear Catalunya. Some excellent Spanish bars and restaurants nearby, great brunch places too before exploring the city.
