This hotel is definitely worth a visit and offers great value for money. Because the location was great, I could walk to every attractions except Park Güell. Spacious and clean rooms, bathroom, and comfortable beds are the best. And I was impressed by the friendly staffs who responded brightly to customers. Especially the female manager, Maggie!! I was touched by the bright energy and her passion to help people. She told us the list of nearby restaurants. It was also useful. There was a bottle of Catalan wine as a welcome drink in the room, and the pretty bottles filled with plenty of water. You could have muffins and coffee in the living room if you want. I could fully feel the leisureliness and affection of the people in Spain. The room is semi-basement, but there is a private garden in front of the room with a sunken structure, so it receives a lot of sunlight. I definitely want to visit this hotel again when I come to Barcelona.

I am genuinely very pleased that we chose Hotel Omnium for our honeymoon trip in Barcelona's! The location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff are amazing, they are really kind and sweet. I specially thank Maggie and Fabio who were there to help us with every detail during our 7-day stay and who made pretty gestures considering our honeymoon so that we can have a spotless experience. The location of the hotel is perfect since it is close to all remarkable places and nice bars and restaurants, also it is very safe and secure compared to other places to stay in Barcelona. Most importantly, as someone who is obsessed with cleanliness of a place, the hotel was perfectly clean and tidy that I was amazed. In summary; fabulous hotel, location, service and the nicest staff. I strongly strongly recommend Hotel Omnium and bet you will be thankful for your stay here if you are looking for a cozy hotel!!!

The location was amazing and I couldn’t BELIEVE how quiet it was in my room given our proximity to all the chaos of Barcelona. There was construction going on in the hotel when I was there and I couldn’t hear that from my room either. I loved my enormous patio. All the staff members, including cleaners and front desk, were wonderful and really went above and beyond to take great care of me. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Barcelona and recommend it to others, though see my notes about mattresses and coffee if those things are important to you.

The walk to my room was annoyingly long and confusing and would be really frustrating for someone with mobility issues even with the elevators. I also feel like they really invested in design and then cut corners on the mattresses, which are hard and somewhat uncomfortable (at least for me, who prefers a super soft mattress). The coffee is watery no matter what option you select on the machine, isn’t available at all hours, and the only cream option is powder. Blechhh.

The hotel is just amazing. It is centrally located but out of the craziness of the rambla and too many people. You are about a 15 minute walk from placa catalunya. The staff is amazing!!! Always there to help you out and give you recommendations. The hotel was the perfect size for us! We don’t like huge hotels and this is more of a boutique hotel. The rooms are big, the service is amazing and the beds are comfortable! Plenty of local groceries close by also. We will definitely be coming back to stay here If we come back to Barcelona. Thanks so much for our stay.

I had a wonderful stay! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always ready to assist with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference. The hotel itself is spotless, with a modern and cozy atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and feel brand new. I especially appreciated the thoughtful details in the lobby, where complimentary coffee and distilled water were available—such a nice touch! The location is also fantastic, making it easy to explore the area and get around conveniently. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Perfect location- central yet quiet. Very clean and light. We loved the comfortable bed and how spacious the bathroom is. The shower was amazing and mirrors full length. We didn’t really hear any other guests. Also, many reviews complain about shower being complicated to use and stairs too many, I find these odd. Shower is so intuitive to use the way you’d like to and stairs are only a few, not tiring at all. Honestly if 10 stairs are making you tired why do you even travel lol. I loved how thoughtful the staff is, our room was cleaned every day and they’d bring us new water every day too. We also had a welcome bottle of cava. They also have a little gym you can use and a nice bathroom- I don’t like going to the toilet in my room when on a trip with someone else so I appreciated this. Everything was perfect! In the area there are so many great cafes, brunch spots, Asian restaurants, you can’t ask for anything more honestly! 8-10 minutes by feet to plaça catalunya where the buses to the airport start from, so convenient! Loved every minute of our stay

No kettle and the zone for drinks closes at 10 pm. We had the great luck to have quite cold and windy Barcelona and would love to have tea to warm up after the long days outside. Hair dryer is a bit weak for long hair

The staff were really wonderful - very kind and helpful and made us feel at home. The room was clean, modern and simple. You could sign in to your own streaming account on the tv which was great. The free coffee and tea and muffins and little lounge was a nice touch. Location was excellent and close to metro, which we didn’t use much as we found walking and buses more convenient for our purposes. Nice breakfast place across the road and wonderful bakery around the corner. Loved staying here for my first trip to Barcelona!

The bed was a little soft for our liking, but it wasn’t a big deal.

A very central location, around 10-15min walk to the Gothic Quarter and La Rambla (the main street) however inside the hotel was completely quiet. Minimalist decoration but everywhere was immaculate. There is a constant diffuser in the lobbby/reception which meant we were greeted with a lovely spa-like smell each time we entered from outside which just added to the luxe feel of the place. You have to be buzzed in initially when you are checking in as it is a key card entrance to enter the hotel but this makes you feel more secure (although the area itself did not seem unsafe, as two women we felt okay walking back to the hotel at night). The room in general was a good size, and also immaculate. A safe is always helpful to store valuables/passports. Lovely big rainfall shower, bathroom in general had a high finish which isn't always the case when places are aesthetically pleasing. We also received a very nice complimentary bottle of sparkling wine which was a lovely start to our trip. Staff were very helpful and keen to give recommendations for nearby restaurants - we had a lovely meal in a true locals restaurant where 6 tapas plates, 1 desert and 4 drinks only cost 55 euros!! (by far our cheapest meal in Barcelona). Great value for money even when booking relatively late, would definitely stay again.

Only thing noticeable was there were no trouser hangers / hangers with a bar in the wardrobe so it was slightly tricky to hang certain trousers with standard hangers.

Great value for such an expensive location in Barcelona, tye staff were great, helpful and kind. They took time to explain things to us, offer late checkout of 1hr free of charge and gave us a bottle and box of chocolates for our anniversary. Totally exceeded expectations for a 2* hotel! Overall, a comfortable place to stay and somewhere I would recommend. Great touch to offer free tea, coffee, water and muffins in a lovely and comfortable communal lounge area.

The sheets were not spotless and we noticed stains on them when we checked in. There was a fairly large crack on the mirror in the bathroom too. The bathroom was good though the shower and toilet area could do with having a spotlight to ensure better visibility.
