This hotel is definitely worth a visit and offers great value for money. Because the location was great, I could walk to every attractions except Park Güell. Spacious and clean rooms, bathroom, and comfortable beds are the best. And I was impressed by the friendly staffs who responded brightly to customers. Especially the female manager, Maggie!! I was touched by the bright energy and her passion to help people. She told us the list of nearby restaurants. It was also useful. There was a bottle of Catalan wine as a welcome drink in the room, and the pretty bottles filled with plenty of water. You could have muffins and coffee in the living room if you want. I could fully feel the leisureliness and affection of the people in Spain. The room is semi-basement, but there is a private garden in front of the room with a sunken structure, so it receives a lot of sunlight. I definitely want to visit this hotel again when I come to Barcelona.

As a pre-note: We lived in Barcelona for 5 years before moving out of the city down the coast. We came into town to see a show at Teatre Tivoli and stayed here 1 night. The room: Was simple, clean and quite spacious. Bathroom and Shower were really good with great pressure and temperature control. Our room had large glass sliding doors that led to our own small terrace overlooking an interior courtyard filled with giant Cactus which was just lovely. There are two nice chairs and table on the terrace to enjoy some outdoor time. It felt private and had great storage options for our clothes, along with small fridge and safe. The air conditioning was easy to control and worked exceptionally well. Extras: They gifted us Cava for our stay which was a very special touch, and a nice bottle of water with glasses for both the cava and water. There is also a common area that provides very nice coffee, tea, water, and treats from 7am to 7pm which we took full advantage of. Parking: They say they have a small parking spot in their building but it's very adequate for someone used to driving in the city. I have a smallish SUV and had absolutely no issue backing into the spot and having ample room between me and the car next to us. Location: It's a perfect location, in the heart of Barcelona. If you are in for a show at Teatre Tivoli which we were, this is amazing. We also went to Paradox Museum around the corner for fun. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and transit close by. Passeig de Gracia is just a couple blocks walk over. We enjoyed the brunch restaurant across the street in the morning, and the evening before, we had a nighttime cocktail at La Whiskeria around the corner.

The pillows were a bit firm for my personal liking, and the bed...while it came with about a 1-2cm memory foam topper, the bed beneath was rock hard. If you were a very very light person this may be adequate but I'm over 75kg and found it very very hard. I will note that I'm used to a full foam mattress at home, so I do like a softer bed that relieves pressure points. This did not. There was definitely some noise you could hear through the wall of your neighbours, but was quiet at the time we retired for the night, so this was not something we were impacted by but take note of if you go to sleep early.

Beautifully clean, peaceful room with soothing neutral tones and a minimalist design that felt both stylish and restful. Gentle ambient music filled the hallways, and the cozy common area offered complimentary tea, coffee, snacks, and water—a lovely, welcoming gesture. Fabio was exceptional: genuinely friendly, informative, and attentive, making check-in seamless and accommodating an early arrival after a long journey. The hotel’s central location was ideal, with easy access to key attractions, dining, and transit.

There wasn’t a single thing we’d change. Our stay was wonderful, and we’d happily return.

Great location. The room was spotless and was a great place to relax after exploring the city. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and the shower was great. The staff here are incredible and will go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be! A bottle of Cava was in the room for us on arrival which was delicious and a lovely touch.

Not much! The bed wasn’t very comfortable, we found it very hard but this is subjective. I left a pair of sandals in the room which I realised only a day after we left, upon which they told me they had been disposed of. Seemed odd given how good the staff were that they wouldn’t let me know first before getting rid of them! We booked a room with a balcony as we smoke, it was only made apparent after booking that smoking is not allowed on the whole premises including the outdoor balconies.

Check in was smooth, the place was quiet and clean with lots of shared facilities. Room and bathroom were both bigger than expected and very clean with amazing and helpful staff. It was very hot in they city when we visited and the air conditioning here was excellent and really saved us. Definitely worth the money and very accessible to visit main attractions in Barcelona! They were also kind enough to gift us with a free bottle of champagne because they knew it was our anniversary

Bathroom didn't have a lot of things like toothpaste but we asked the reception and they provided us with the slippers and other things we wanted.

The hotel is just amazing. It is centrally located but out of the craziness of the rambla and too many people. You are about a 15 minute walk from placa catalunya. The staff is amazing!!! Always there to help you out and give you recommendations. The hotel was the perfect size for us! We don’t like huge hotels and this is more of a boutique hotel. The rooms are big, the service is amazing and the beds are comfortable! Plenty of local groceries close by also. We will definitely be coming back to stay here If we come back to Barcelona. Thanks so much for our stay.

I am genuinely very pleased that we chose Hotel Omnium for our honeymoon trip in Barcelona's! The location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff are amazing, they are really kind and sweet. I specially thank Maggie and Fabio who were there to help us with every detail during our 7-day stay and who made pretty gestures considering our honeymoon so that we can have a spotless experience. The location of the hotel is perfect since it is close to all remarkable places and nice bars and restaurants, also it is very safe and secure compared to other places to stay in Barcelona. Most importantly, as someone who is obsessed with cleanliness of a place, the hotel was perfectly clean and tidy that I was amazed. In summary; fabulous hotel, location, service and the nicest staff. I strongly strongly recommend Hotel Omnium and bet you will be thankful for your stay here if you are looking for a cozy hotel!!!

The location was amazing and I couldn’t BELIEVE how quiet it was in my room given our proximity to all the chaos of Barcelona. There was construction going on in the hotel when I was there and I couldn’t hear that from my room either. I loved my enormous patio. All the staff members, including cleaners and front desk, were wonderful and really went above and beyond to take great care of me. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Barcelona and recommend it to others, though see my notes about mattresses and coffee if those things are important to you.

The walk to my room was annoyingly long and confusing and would be really frustrating for someone with mobility issues even with the elevators. I also feel like they really invested in design and then cut corners on the mattresses, which are hard and somewhat uncomfortable (at least for me, who prefers a super soft mattress). The coffee is watery no matter what option you select on the machine, isn’t available at all hours, and the only cream option is powder. Blechhh.

Quiet room and very clean. Free coffee provided every day. Close to restaurants and attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good security - locking front door needing key card to open + front desk always manned. Bath with large walkin shower. Very comfortable bed. Plugs located with table stands on both sides of the bed very convenient. Bottle water provided daily. A greeting bottle of sparkling wine was provided at check-in. Nice AC in room for comfortable sleeping.

The hallways were warm - not really much to dislike here.
