Warm hospitality, great location, very clean

Hi! I stayed 6 nights in the female dormitory which also has two private toilettes (shower room is outside) and a tiny terrace. The receptionist will show you around the hostel and explain the rules, you will be given a towel and then a personal locker (make sure you bring a padlock, otherwise the receptionist will lend you one but you have to pay €10 cash and it's refundable). The closest landmarks (walking distance): Arc de Triomf (9-10 mins), Plaça de Catalunya which is the main square (10 mins), La Rambla/Las Ramblas which is the famous boulevards (15 mins) and it takes 10 mins to go to Passeig de Gràcia which is the main road to go to Casa Batlló (15 mins) and La Pedrera - Casa Milà (20 mins). On your arrival, the staff member provides all information on Barcelona’s many attractions by giving you a map. Overall I had a pleasant, relaxing time at this place. I also have to emphasis that it is very clean. The staff team treated me so well and I felt homely. I would highly recommend staying here.

You have to bare in mind that there some rules to respect and I personally adjusted myself to them. (^_^) Kitchen, common area and shower room are closed from 11:15 to 14:00 and then from 23:30 to 08:00 so it might be inconvenient if you have different daily habits. If you sleep until late, remember to wake up before 11:15 as the staff team comes to the room to clean and do the bedding (they change the bedding every second day) or if you're not bothered for the bedding service, stay in your bed while they're cleaning. You are not allowed to cook but you can heat your food using the hobs, the small oven and the microwave. You can't fill your water bottle from the dispenser but you can drink there. You can't eat or drink inside the dorm but you can keep your bottle of a water.

The bed linen got changed every day. All the facilities got cleaned every day. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The lockers are big enough to fit a medium sized traveling backpack, also they have locks available for a 10 euro deposit you can get back when checking out.

The only thing that really bothered me was the weak internet signal. Maybe this was due to the position of my bed (the very corner of the building)? Not that big of a deal but still something to take notice of.

The room was clean and there was a common place to have breakfast. Coffee and tea were available. Also a better quality coffee for more or less an euro was available. The bathroom inside the room was big.

Some noise from the common bathroom neighbor to the room (when the shower was opened). Also there was no AC, and instead the room was equipped with a quite noisy fan. Noise from the street on weekdays in the early morning.

Location was good. I Just had to search a little bit for the front door. Hostel was very clean and the facilities were good even when the building/inside was what old. Breakfast was good .there were 2 kinds of bread that you can toast. Cheese or ham? To choose from etc. you could take cereal / Milk/juice/ thee of coffee. Or make your own meal in the kitchen. Stuff that you bought like food you could place in there. The employees were very open to help you with all the questions that you have. The time I was there it wasnt busy so that was Nice. Every day I got new sheets on the bed.

I can not think of one thing that I didnt like in the time that i stayed there.

The staff was nice and all common spaces were actually clean. Most important, felt safe during my staying there. In the morning they had coffee/tea and cereals for free which was nice.

There was a schedule for shower time and common area which was a little bit unexpected and during the night you couldn't use the kitchen at all. But that was not such big of an issue for me.

Staff were helpful. At check-in, they explained in detail about each room, including the common areas and shower rooms. They also advised us about famous tourist attractions.

The shower room was smaller than expected. And there are no shelves to put clothes, so it would be good to bring your stuff in bags that can be hung on hooks.

Great location great staff and cert well layed out

way too dear for a hostel,1 night cost me 50 odd euro in a room with 13 or so beds! I understand inflation and how it works but alot of ppl are just taking advantage of the current situation,its a hostel! demand should not matter, just set the price of the room and first come first served no??

The customer service which was provided was brilliant. The tips and suggestions for potential places to see were excellent. The ammenities were good, very clean and I felt safe staying there.

Great location and solid furniture for a hostel.

You can't shower when you want to and there were limited shower options as one wasn't working
