The location was great. As a solo female traveler, I always look for well-located, safe, well-lit, with good food/market/stores/public transportation nearby. This place checked all the boxes. The staff was very nice and helpful. Although they don’t have breakfast, they provide cute snack pack for your day and have a communal fridge and coffee/tea. Maga was wonderful, on the first day she gave me a very helpful introduction to the city using a map and gave me great recommendations. They also provide self-guided walking tours. They even kindly contacted me when I left something behind. The details really made it a great stay.

Very cozy in a great area. I enjoyed my stay in Hostal Goya, it is very cozy and very nicely decorated. Common dining area is cute and comfy. I had superior room that was quite spacious and had a little working area. the bad was super comfy and overall the room was very clean. the best part was a little city guide made by the owners - something unique with a personal touch. every guest is also offered a small snack for breakfast, I find it super cute.

the only thing is that is that the sound proof is not super strong, so you can hear neighbors. but the building itself is very old (and beautiful!) so it’s actually typical and expected.

Each morning, there was a bag with two nice cakes and a carton drink which we really appreciated left in the drinks/eating room We really liked having a room which we could access which had a view across the street and opening doors on the second floor, which was the same floor as reception and our room. Inside the room was a coffee maker, fridge and hot and cold drinking water. The fridge also contained milk for us to use. Our room was comfortable clean, and although we didn’t request it, the towels were changed every day and the bed was made up The staff were friendly and helpful We appreciated the use of a lift to take our cases upstairs We were pleased with the location of the hotel close to the tourist areas of Barcelona such as the old quarter and good access to Metro and train

We had an internal room which did not have a view to the outside, although they were opening windows onto a central area The staff were helpful however I had hurt my finger and although I was directed to a medical centre I really needed directions to an accident and emergency department .

Great Location, Warm Welcome, and Lovely Touches The location was truly excellent — easily accessible from the airport and very close to all the main attractions in the city. The welcome was warm and attentive, which made a great first impression. The hotel offered thoughtful amenities like a water dispenser, a coffee/tea corner, and small personalized treats left in the room each morning — such a sweet gesture. If you’re not overly particular and are looking for a safe, central, and good value-for-money place to stay, this is the one. If I come back to Barcelona, I’d definitely stay here again.

this hotel is located in the center just about 5 minutes from Plaça de Catalunya (airport bus stop) breakfast was not included, but muffins and juice were provided every morning as a service, also you can make coffe,tea,water.hotwater are 24h available for free at community spaces. and they also offered luggage storage after check-out and more, shower and toilet was available, towel rental was free, which was very much appreciated. the two staff members were very kind, so l definitely want to stay here again when I come back to Barcelona.

He place between all shopping area, just down you can find a supermarket, walking distance to airport bus. The hostel is very nice clean, once you enter you will meet this very nice lady and the owner of the hotel. The room space is v good, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom is good in space very clean with hair blower. There is a common room were you can rest and do coffee and tea , also microwave is available. When I woke up next day and went to do a coffee I saw this small bag were my name one , and waw a cake and juice . Sooooo confederate and warm. I love the place.

I highly recommend this place! I was checked in by Jose, who was very helpful with not only the place, but he also gave me a map of Barcelona along with tips on what visit and what to do and what not to do in the city. The other staff were also very nice and helpful. The rooms were very nice and I also like the small breakfast provided and the common areas that were available. The location is amazing, with only 10-15 mins walk to the center. Overall, just a very great stay and I would stay here again when I go back to Barcelona.

The walls are a bit thin so you can hear voices and footsteps but I didn't really mind too much as it was pretty quiet the majority of the time.

Good location. Very helpful and friendly host gave me a lot of recommendations where to go, what to visit, where to find a good food, shown everything on the map(which I took with me). Great service! The shared kitchen is nice and clean, equiped with refrigerator, coffee machine, water cooler. There are free coffee, milk and tea, and muffin with a small juice in the morning. My room with private bathroom was small, clean and comfortable. Cleaning and fresh towels are available every morning. There is heating control in the room. Overall it was very nice place to stay.

Location is perfect and near Plaza de Catalunya. You can find all sorts of restaurants, fast food, supermarket nearby. Staff was very nice, especially Maga who was helpful. The room was cleaned everyday, there is a small area where you can warm food, and get free coffee or tea.

If you come with a baby (and a stroller), there are a dozen steps on the staircase which made it quite challenging. Ask to be on the 1 st floor because there are no additional steps and not on the PR floor because you have 2 small steps which were challenging when you have a stroller.

We had an amazing stay here in Hostal Goya. The staff are very polite and hospitable. The room and toilet are clean & the air conditioning is cold, perfect for this hot weather. It’s also quiet in the hotel that we were able to relax and sleep well, location is also very accessible to most of the famous landmarks in the city. They also clean the rooms daily. We are very satisfied with our stay here. We will surely comeback next time.
