Great hotel, very welcoming staff who showed us the nearby beautiful places to visit, where to eat, and how to get there. Good daily cleaning. The rooms are very clean and cozy, and the shower gel has an incredible scent. There is a hairdryer and toiletries, and the water bottles are replenished daily. There is a bus stop 1-2 minutes away from the hotel, which takes you to the airport in 30 minutes. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and there are also shops ranging from luxury to mass market, as well as many bars and restaurants. Special thanks to the staff for their recommendations on where to find delicious coffee and a great breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!❤️

The hotel exceeded our expectations. It's the first time I get to write such a thing. The hotel is situated near basicly everything in Barcelona. It's close to the beach, the shopping streets, the Ramblas, etc. The bus which takes you to the airport even stops right at the corner. This is very convenient. The staff of the hotel is incredibly friendly and the rooms are very clean. There's also airconditioning in the room, which you will need when in Barcelona. Trust me on this one. Furthermore I'd like to point out that the beds are - by far - the best beds I've ever experienced in a hotel. We had the best sleep. I wish I could take this bed with me back home. It made me question the bed I have and I wanna replace it!

The Izaila is a small hotel in a position that is perfect for exploring Barcelona. Ainhoa greeted us so warmly and was extremely helpful giving us advice and assistance for our visit. As if that wasn’t enough she then went even further to contact us when there may have been a slight problem with transport on a particular trip with advice as we may avoid the problem. We were also offered use of our room for longer than usual to permit us to change for our evening flight on our departure day. All in all a very comfortable, service oriented hotel in a great position. A wonderful stay and experience for us.

The location is at the heart of town. Supermarket and shopping centre just right opposite. The receptionists, both pretty lady and handsome man were friendly and helpful. We were able to explore many places by foot Housekeeping was done daily and room were clean and comfortable. The bed is super comfortable. Quiet at night. We managed to catch quality rest there. Highly recommended.

Location of the hotel is excellent. It’s strategic location if you want to walk North or South of town or stay in the center, all in walking distance. Rooms are cleaned daily and well. Owners are friendly and helpful with information.

The smell in the stairway of sewage and poor ventilation system, it seems most of Spain is this way though. For a small boutique hotel they do a good job .

It’s perfectly located, with easy access to three different subway entrances. Room 7 was spacious, filled with natural light, and had a beautiful terrace—perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. The common areas were nicely decorated and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. They also kindly allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out, as we had a late flight. We highly recommend this location, and it ia our 3rd time in Barcelona!

The location was great. Very central for all our needs and easily accessible from the airport using the shuttle . The room and public areas were very clean and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival Alicia provided a map and pointed out where various sights were located including some eateries which was really useful. We liked that we had a balcony and made full use of it. When there was a small issue with our shower this was fixed straightaway. Sadly there was an issue with the lift which the hotel were extremely apologetic for but this in no way impacted on our stay and our cases were taken down for us on check-out.

Location and our room position was exceptional. We stayed at the room 4 and it was the corner room with a perfect Plaça de Catalunya view. Waking up to a beautiful green leaf scenery in the middle of the city was great. We loved the warm welcome and suggestions and recommendations of the reception was always on target. Place was always clean, we felt like home.. The room cleaned every day and every day. There were glass water bottles in our room which they refill every day was also a great gesture :). You can walk everywhere from the hotel. It has several bus stops close-by and also metro is couple of steps away. Reaching the hotel from airport with airobus was really easy because the bus stops across the street (you only need to cross the street that's how close it is). Hope to come and stay again some day..

Actually there was nothing to dislike.. Maybe an individual minibar in the room could be good but it's also not that necessary because the common resting area.

Location is GREAT - super central & easy to walk to old town and most major attractions. The reception team were great - super helpful with lots of tips for our time there! Room was huge and felt clean/comfortable. Really quiet at night. Also had a little balcony which was nice. There is no minibar but there is a communal one to use if you need in a common area.

The AC dripped after a while when on so we had to keep turning it on and off.

A unique concept of home away from home. Operated by the owners, very professionally friendly and helpful. The staff provided inside tips on where to go and where to eat. Your local guide at the front desk. The rooms are cozy, spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The location is next to none, a few steps from Catalonia Square, with easy access to public transportation. The concept of a shared kitchenette is a great way to encourage social interaction.

A simple console under the TV would be a good addition. Maybe a microwave in the kitchenette and more variety of hot drinks.
