Good location in the strict city center "Barri Gotic". Allows access by taxi to the entrance. Secured entrance. Good soundproofing of the windows, despite the fact that you are on one of the busiest squares. Good starting point for exploring the old part of the city and the city beach. Spacious room. Good team on reception.

The marketing ploy for the pool, sauna and fitness center is overrated, as they are extremely small and more than likely just for taking photos. We missed a table with chairs or lounge chairs in the room, considering the fact that it had a kitchen... But basically, nothing special that would bother us.

I loved the staff they were so friendly welcoming and helpful. They spoke English which helped a great deal. They were professional and allowed us to leave our luggage before and after check in and out. I loved the room and it's amenities. The room was modern and spacious. It was tastefully designed and decorated. The ambience and quietness was outstanding. My daughter stayed here before and highly recommended it and I certainly agree with her. I would be back in the summer...did I forget to mention that this hotel has a mini kitchen and is close to everything in the city centre.

A bit pricey but I guess it's the time of year...it was worth every Euro.

For location, size of the rooms, decor/feel of the hotel, and staff - this is a 10/10 stay! In the heart of the gothic quarter - it's close to everything, and the building and rooms are authentic and stunning!

Being in the heart of the gothic quarter, it is noisy, but make sure your doors are properly closed - ours weren't and the difference between sealing them properly and not - was significant to noise volume. The plumbing is a bit old and slightly smelly, again in keeping with the area - just shut the bathroom door....

The hotel was beautiful! It was really nicely finished and our room was lovely. We liked that it had a small kitchen and full-sized couch. We had a great view over the square behind the building and enjoyed people-watching. The location was excellent and staff were very helpful. We did not use the pool because it was too cold, however, the upper deck looked really nice.

It would have been nice if a robe would have been included to go with the slippers.

A beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff really made us feel very welcome and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was perfect and the service was exceptional.

The swimming pool wasn't heated, so we couldn't use it. I completely understand why it isn't heated, but it would have been good to know before we travelled as I love an early morning swim and was a bit disappointed that I couldn't have a few mornings of quiet exercise before hiking around town.

Excellent location, almost hidden in the middle of the Gothic quarter. We had quick access to everything. We loved the history of the place, the architecture and overall feel. Room was the perfect size for 2 with amazing bathrooms. The staff was A+, always helpful and just overall pleasant. There's a gym and sauna available upon request and if you're staying for longer stay they have laundry service for a reasonable price. Would definitely come back.

The hotel is set right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter and everything is within easy walking distance. Our rooms and the hotel were all spotless and the staff were amazing. The rooftop pool was great and it felt like our own private little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. If we ever come back to Barca, we’ll be staying here.

Amazing location, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the set up for a family of 4 with double and two single beds, plenty of space and kitchenette. It was also so quiet given the location - the soundproofing is incredible! Staff were hugely welcoming and gave great advice on places to visit and where to eat. Could not have been better!

Nothing - was perfect

The room was immaculately clean and we loved the kitchenette area. The location was brilliant with everything within walking distance. Security was perfect as you had to scan the keycard to get into the hotel (not just the room). Definitely a great place to stay.

Our bed was not the most comfortable or stable although our friends in a different room did have a good bed. The city location may not suit everyone as the rear facing rooms (over courtyard) had more noise than others.

Room was lovely, well appointed, and very spacious. Nice location in the Gothic quarter. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful! We arrived very early, and they gladly stored our luggage, provided umbrellas, maps and suggestions for a rainy day in Barcelona. Upon arriving in our room we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine and chocolates with a lovely note. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!
