Within walking distance from old city, restaurants,/bars. Did not eat at hotel at any stage as €14 p.p. for desayuno was 'over the top'. We had breakfast at Fez, the small restaurant across the street, excellent and really nice service.

As mentioned above, food and drink charges are over the top in some establishments and the 1uality of the food has decreased since last visit. Maybe it was Covid, but a lot of the restaurants are going towards special 2-3 plate menus, not what people really want, they want tapas, nothing out of the ordinary, but a touch of the old Spain.

Fantastic Location. All amenities, restaurants, parks, including the old town are within walking distance. Night life is vibrant with many restaurants and shops near by. The hotel is in the prime location for everything. Parking facility available on the street and in the near by parking facility. Liked the 24x7 check-in as we arrived a bit late.

Did not have an electric kettle. Would have been good to have one to make coffee/tea as most of the premier hotels have.

Very good hotel and service,kind and polite reception staff,very clean and tidy rooms, good air conditioning (heat waves in summers are common in Càceres),nice amenities and toiletries provided,in the heart of city and 10 mins walk from medieval city centre! Definitely a must stay for me in the future!

Modern hotel close to the old town. The guy on reception was very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Rooms were large, clean and comfy. Although it is on a busy main road, the hotel is relatively quiet.

Lady in bar/cafe wasn’t anywhere near as cheerful as the guy was. Limited menu choice. No tea/coffee in room. Bathroom door is only frosted glass without a lock or proper closing mechanism.

The room was large and comfortable, the bathroom clean and modern. The location was ideal for our needs. We would choose the Alcantara again. The breakfast was ok though not great, especially for an area with such good quality local produce. There lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Te hotel met ours expectations, it was very well located, only a short walk away from the old town and its attractions, easy to access, clean, comfortable and very well kept. Just what we wanted for a short break in Cáceres.

Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. Good size modern room and bathroom. The room had a good working aircon which is a necessity in Cáceres in summer. We were on the 6th floor and did not hear any street noises. It was also very quiet in the hotel itself. The location is very close to the city center and on an avenue with breakfast bars and shops. We arrived in the evening so we could park our car for free in the blue zone till the next morning.

The shower was not entirely clean. Towels were clean but some looked like they were a bit old. That is a shame because the rest of the bathroom is so modern and clean. Apart from that, this hotel offers great value for the price.

It’s very close to downtown. Staff is super friendly. They are renewing some floors/cafeteria. The rooms looked brand renewed.

The room had a “smoke” smell. Shower was not staying at its place so hair washing was almost impossible.

The staff at reception were lovely and helped us order taxis. The room was comfortable and warm. The bathroom was use clean and tidy.

The shower was a bit tricky to get the right temperature.
