I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Salamanca Montalvo. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the quiet surroundings and the beautiful views. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with something for everyone. Also lunch meals were good. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a short drive from the historic center of Salamanca. Overall, a great value for the price—I would definitely stay here again!

I have returned to this hotel many times over the years when travelling through Spain. I am a quite elderly solo traveller ( 80) and I am very thankful for the kindness they show. A genuine hotel policy from top to bottom of wanting to make every traveller’s stay seamless. I have noticed many other travellers joining the ‘return club’ . The hotel is efficient , staff are polite and helpful and the menu ( breakfast and dinner) is good value for money. ( I suppose lunch is also good value but cannot witness this)

Ordering at dinner was slightly off - several people had wrong dish brought to them One item very badly translated - suggest you get a Spanish menu as well as one in translation and check it on Google Translate My suggestion to correct this for benefit of future guests - at Reception on departure - was almost certainly going to be ignored. Criollo de pollo is a salty chicken sausage - definitely not Chicken Creole. You have been warned!!

The property was on the outskirts of Salamanca and only a cheap taxi ride into stunning Salamanca. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked a taxi for us which you paid for on check out. The room was clean as was the bathroom. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom. - showergel, soap dispenser,shampoo and conditioner. They all had a great fragrance and were in colourful dispensers. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we went into Salamanca and had an early check out but the dining area and outside seating areas looked great.

There was a fridge in the room to keep cool drinks but it would have been good to have coffee and tea making facilities too.

Situated in an industrial area with free street parking, some outdoor stalls and a garage, the hotel had comfortable beds which suited our needs for a quiet place to spend the night on our way to Lisbon. Staff was friendly and helpful providing instructions to the center of town.

There were no places to eat within walking distance aside from the hotel restaurant. This wasn't an issue for us since we were trying to find a place to stay with free parking.

Bedrooms always spotless and comfortable. Nice large beds with excellent pillow choice. Cannot fault the rooms. Bathrooms a little on the small side , but incredibly clean and that is what matters to me. We will always stay at the Montalvo, other similar hotels just do not match up.

The only niggle I have in my own opinion is dinner is not served till 8pm. When we have been on a very long drive, it would be nice to have dinner earlier , so we can get to bed and have a good nights sleep..

For us a great location, just off the motorway and a perfect stopover en route to Isla Canela . The staff at check in was very friendly and helpful. They noticed we had visited before and shortly after arriving we were presented with a small box of chocolates and bottled water. The half board deal was fantastic value for money with a good selection for dinner and as always the breakfast has great fresh choices.

The on,y small complaint I have is that there is no kettle, tea, coffee. However as we knew this from previous visits we did bring our own but it does seem for a hotel that satisfies every other need that this is a small omission.

Location chosen because of parking facilities and just outside centre. Even though there were 2 busy functions in the hotel staff were attentive and pleasant to us. Dining area was comfortable and overlooking the garden area. Food was very good and the staff looked after us very well.

The reception and foyer area is a little disjointed. It accommodates all entrances into different function rooms. The bar is also in the foyer and the breakfast and restaurant entrance is beside that all in all a very busy area. However, that is just an observation

Check in was easy. Staff were very helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom shower was perfect. Dinner was really good. Oitdide area wad nice to sit in eith a drink or snacks Perfectly cooked food with great flavour. Hotel us easy to get to ftom the main road.. staff spoke perfect english ,which is a great help for those of us whose Spanish isn't great.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel or its staff. The hotrl location is a bit busy but noise cant be heard from indide.

Located on ground floor in junior suite. Good clean hotel, friendly staff good underground secure parking for motorcycle. Safe in the room for passports etc. Kettle in room and little coffee machine Easy walking distance to town, approx 30 mins straight road down. Great stay as it was during festival week.

Room had a tobacco smell. Cleaner started early, could hear the banging of hoover against furniture bed not that comfortable
