It’s a simple hotel with a simple breakfast but worth the stay because it is centrally located (about 7 min walk to Cathedral) and for those with a mobility impairment, it does have an elevator. Both Reception and Cleaning staff are excellent, I would recommend and stay again.

The location is excellent. Right on the edge of the old town, so away from the masses of tourists, but only 250 metres from the university and the old town. The room, (room 12). It was quiet and I was not disturbed by any noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I had 3 nights of very good sleep. There was a window with a balcony which opened onto the small, largely pedestrian, street outside. The window and the wooden shutters kept noise out. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet. Very basic : croissants, toast, bread, fruit, cakes, coffee and orange juice. Good value for €8. To have that in a café in the street would have cost double.

The toilet. It was located too close to, and facing the shower cubicle, so my knees were up against it. Also there was a shelf above it. Being 190 cms tall, with my knees awkwardly placed and having to avoid the shelf above me, standing up was a manoeuvre.

We had a pleasant stay at Microtel Placentinos. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the location cannot be beat. Off a side street so it's very quiet, but a short walk away from the busy areas. Plus a great restaurant, Salam, is a couple of doors down.

The hotel is very well located in the historic center, with a nearby parking lot that has a maximum daily cost of €15. The facilities are very cozy, with a charming vintage style, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I loved everything, but without a doubt, the most exceptional aspect is the staff. They are incredibly attentive and kind, always ready to help. They create a welcoming atmosphere and are genuinely friendly and caring.

+ A charming hotel with character in the historical part of Salamanca. Great location for seeing all the sights, about 20 min on foot from the bus station. + Perfect sleep quality: very comfortable wide bed and good linen, quite, the window has wooden shutters inside that perfectly block the light, so in the morning you wake up only after you've slept enough hours. There's a little balcony overlooking a narrow street. Didn't use a/c although it was hot in Salamanca: the room kept a comfortable temperature by itself thanks to the thick walls of the old building and natural airing. + Friendly staff + Adequate breakfast starting from 8 a.m. +Although the hotel is in a historical building, there's a lift, so no problem with luggage. Recommended!

- I had a single room and nearly all the space was occupied by the bed (but the bed was very good!) - No safety box, no table, there was a fridge but it had water inside and wasn't functioning properly (wanted to say about it at the reception but forgot, sorry!) However, these are minor issues and generally the stay was very good.

The wonderful staff at the front desk provided a map and recommended restaurants.

Charming small hotel tucked in the heart of the University quarter. Friendly, helpful staff. They quickly arranged another room on our arrival as the bed in the room we’d booked was too small for us. Space is at a premium in this well-conserved historic building.

We experienced some difficulty in trying to drop off our luggage as the University quarter is not easily accessible for unfamiliar drivers. Local taxi drivers have no such problems!

Very good location in the centre (close to all the things to see) but in a quiet street so I had a good rest. I loved the room, very beautiful and cosy with some character as well. Friendly staff. There is a fridge in the room too. Nice breakfast included.

Only the positioning of the toilet is bad, almost against the shower cabin. That was not very comfortable. The airco was good but even when you tried to change the degrees, nothing really happened (the system is centralized and you cannot switch it off).

The staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The pillows were very comfortable and there was a fridge with bottled water provided. The location is good for getting in to the old city, and I found free parking nearby on Calle Palma. Breakfast was very nice in their bright dining room - lots of fruit, choice of yogurts, fruit juice, pastries, cheese, jams, cereal and traditional olive oil and chopped tomato for bread.

There was building work happening nearby, and hammering and drilling began at 8am :-( (my room was at the front of the hotel). My bedroom was small and I had to do human origami to get my suitcase out of the way and into the built-in wardrobe! Hairdryers are available on request, so you have to go to Reception to get one.

It's a few hundred yards to the plaza but basically right at the university with lots of students around. It is on a narrow side street and very quiet. Our room was on the third level and pretty small but the bed was comfortable and the room was immaculate. Lots of wood and a very unique room. Definitely not like a square hotel but more a quaint city hotel built in an old stone home.

bit of a haul to the upper floor but it had a lift that we were too impatient to use! Massive value for a night or two and very convenient to everything.
