The staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was really nice, very quiet, with split level living and airconditioning. The hotel itself is in a great location and everything we wanted to do and see was within walking distance. The hotel is one of the older style hotels with renovations done in the 1980's or earlier. It does require further updating. In saying that it is still nicely laid out and comfortable.

On the downside, unfortunately two things were annoying. The first was the fact that the shower was over the bathtub, so you had to be a really good hurdler getting in and out of the tub....definitely not for those short in stature. The second annoying fact was that, if you had to use the toilet, you had to sit side saddle as space was limited due to the placement of bathroom fixtures. Oh while I think of it being split level, there are 4 steps down to the next level, so it may not suit some people and the steps are just as you walk in, so you have to be aware of them.

Great central location within walking distance to almost all the sightseeing points. Spacious room, clean and comfortable bed, good wifi connection, you have almost everything you might need and we appreciated any small touch like complimentary cold water in the refrigerator. First of all, after checking out of the hotel, the train to Segovia left late in the afternoon, so we had to wander the streets with all our luggage for a few hours. When Francisco heard our situation, he kindly delayed our check-out time, so we could stay at the hotel longer.  In this hot weather with temperatures reaching 33-35°C, we felt as if we had met our savior.  On the morning of the check-out, we were surprised to see another staff member at the reception instead of Francisco, but he already knew our situation and reassured us. I was once again impressed by their meticulous attention to customer service. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Francisco and all the staff members once again.  👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

The location is perfect for exploring Salamanca, being right in the heart of the old town. Our room was bright, well decorated and large. The bathroom was a little cramped, but had everything you needed and it all worked well. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't elaborate but there was a good range of food provided. A couple of excellent restaurants literally on the same street for dinner, with plenty of cafes offering cheap "menu del dia" lunches a short walk away. At £250 for 4 nights for a couple, it's a super little place if you have realistic expectations. We would certainly stay there again.

The location also has a disadvantage - there was quite a lot of outside noise until 1-2am on the Friday/Saturday nights we were there, but the other nights were fine. The machine made coffee at breakfast was dire, but there are lots of lovely cafes offering great and cheap alternatives nearby.

The location is excellent and close to all attractions in the historic city center of Salamanca. The staff is very friendly. The room was quite spacious, even for a family with a kid, and everything was clean.

The breakfast is the sad note. At least the hotel should refer to it as a "continental breakfast" because there's nothing fresh, no fruits, no natural juice, only one option of cheese and ham, and packaged stuff.

I am not exaggerating when I say that this has been one of the best hotel experiences I've had in my life, and I've travelled quite a bit, both for work and leisure. My room was so much better than I expected for the really convenient price - spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfy - the whole atmosphere was so nice I wanted to spend more time in the room haha. Everyone in the staff was extremely nice (I didn't get their names, unfortunately) and warm and made me feel very welcome. Bathroom was perfect, location perfect - super close to Casa de la Conchas and La Clerecía (if I remember the name well). I already started to plan a return to the city, this time with my family, and I will choose this hotel again for sure.

Coffee could have been better - the machine they had was not that great, but that's a very minor thing compared to all the good ones.

The position of the hotel is in the city centre of Salamanca, just a few minutes' walk from the Cathedral and other attractions. Much appreciated the availability of gluten free options for breakfast. The room is good-sized and the Wi-Fi connection good to work online.

To improve breakfast options, I would advise to add fresh fruit.

Our booking included daily room service and breakfast, which was good. The staff was very friendly and had recommendations for places to see around the city. The room was large and spacious.

The room was stark--very white and severe-looking. The windows we had looked into an alley. But other than aesthetics, everything was great except for the issues we had with the thermostat the first night.

Room very comfortable and clean; bedding was heavenly; staff very attentive; adequate hangars, full length mirror & space to put luggage; location is excellent; no problems with noise, plumbing or security; in-room safe tricky to set up but working ok; ability to keep AC going with extra room key allowed

Remote control for AC very tricky to turn on, had to ask for help several times (no instructions & staff didn’t seem too clear either) but AC worked well; difficult to carry luggage up about 8 steps to get to our room; breakfast tasty, very convenient and reasonably priced for a buffet but same every day

From the very warm welcome from the front desk staff and the great room we had - comfortable, clean, cozy beds, etc. We loved the location - just steps from the Plaza Mayor and right near the university. We walked a lot all over the city and always felt we were coming home when we returned. The surrounding neighborhood is just so beautiful, safe, and very medieval looking. We did lots of shopping and dining also. This hotel is great value for the money - we stayed there for a week.

I really don't have any dislikes for this hotel. Just to say that I wish we could have stayed longer.

Location is superb, very central, and yet in a relatively quiet part. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable enough. For its price, this hotel is truly a great value for money. Will definitely come back.

The bed mattress is a bit too soft and spring-y. We requested for a quiet room but got a room facing the street with a restaurant bar below. But not that big of a deal. Still slept well.
