The room and the bathroom were very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. There was no air conditioning, that I know of, but the windows provided enough ventilation. The location of the hotel is perfect, a short walk to the mercadona and the downtown area, however due to its location on a very busy street, it is loud with the windows open. There is no issue when the windows are closed, but due to the heat, windows had to be open, so I would just recommend bringing earplugs. The check in was super easy and the host was very nice and helpful. I would come back here again and I highly recommend.

It was super clean and the beds were comfy. The shower worked well and was equiped with shampoo and soap. Super close to downtown which saved us the trouble of looking for transportation all the time. All iconic places in downtown were at walking distance. Plus, they are pet friendly!

The room and the facilities didn't have silverware, or kitchen appliances like a kettle or a microwave we could use. It seems that's only specific rooms have those and they were already booked. There was an extra charge of 10 euros per night because we were with our pet.

Online check in was easy and the location is perfect. The room itself was clean and a spacious. The bed was comfortable and there was a fan since, there isn't any AC, I appreciated that.

The room smelled bad. The window opened up to an enclosed ally area and made the room smell like sewer. I think maybe putting air fresheners in the rooms could be great. I wish the bathroom door was a sliding one, the space is so small it's difficult to move. Also the shower pressure was horrible.

The Hostal is in an excellent location with only a short walk to points of interest and the bus station. The check in procedure was easy and staff were responsive through WhatsApp. The room was comfortable and clean. Staff were also accommodating when I asked if I could leave my bags behind upon check out.

The wifi was down for almost half of my stay, however I recognise things like this are often out of staff’s control.

After a month of staying in hostel dorms I decided to splurge on a cheap city, Salamanca. I chose Hostal Mindanao because of its proximity to the bus station and the middle of town. Everything was spotless, the communication regarding check-in & check-out was seamless. I loved having a fan in the room

The bed was a little hard, my room faced the road so there was some outside noise but it was fine with the window closed

Very good location in the city center. Communication with the staff was excellent, all the necessary information about the stay, check-in, and check-out was clearly provided. The room was clean and well-prepared. Bathroom in very good condition.

It was quite noisy in the room due to street noise and very thin walls, you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway.

A great location, easy parking, free on street or in paid parking under the park opposite the hostal 10 minute walk to plaza mayor, passing 24 hour eroski on the way. Room was exceptionally clean, with plenty of towels, soap etc. You get sent a code to open front door and room door couldn't be easier. Incredible value for money and pet friendly too. I will definitely be back

Super convenient spot, Parking Garage just behind, cost me 16 euros for the night, you could probably do better, Easy Access, Dog friendly, room looked brand new, very nicely finished, mine had a balcony big enough for two people standing drinking a glass of wine and the dog. I didn't meet any staff and didn't need too. Superb value at 35 euros, booked only a few hours before arrival, due to my maiden voyage in my new 2015 Tesla Model S taking way longer than I thought.

Clean, good value for money, on the edge of the old historic town and not far from the coach station. There's no reception or staff in the building so you need to pre-check in online to get the electronic door pass code which is fiddly to operate at first. The call centre staff were super friendly and helpful though.

Great location, clean, comfortable beds, quiet, contact was friendly and very helpful. First time in a hostel and I must say it exceeded my expectations.

The entrance key codes didn’t work but someone was on the phone to talk me through it. The hostel could use an ice machine in the communal area during summer .
