I recently stayed at this modern gem in the heart of Salamanca’s historic old town. From the moment I arrived, the experience was clearly designed for ease and efficiency. Check-in and check-out were fully self-service via a smart kiosk, and access to both the hotel and rooms is seamlessly managed through a web-based app—perfect for those who appreciate autonomy and convenience. While the hotel leans heavily on technology, it doesn’t miss the human touch where it matters most. The café/bar staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and eager to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself feels either brand new or immaculately maintained. My room was spotless, with high-quality bedding, plush pillows, and soft, fresh towels that made it easy to unwind after a day exploring the city. The bar area is open all day and into the evening, offering a cozy indoor space and a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink or bite while soaking in the charm of Salamanca. For those driving in, there’s a public underground car park just two minutes away for 17 euros per day—convenient and accessible. But the absolute highlight is the location. Nestled right within the ancient university campus, you’re surrounded by 1000 years of history and just a five-minute walk from the stunning Salamanca Cathedral. It’s hard to imagine a better base for exploring the city’s architectural and cultural treasures. One thing to note: reception is only staffed during certain hours, so this may not suit travelers who prefer frequent face-to-face interaction. However, for anyone comfortable with digital systems, this hotel offers a near-flawless blend of modern innovation and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for tech-savvy travelers.

We arrived after 5 pm without any reception staff, had to figure out check-in, parking etc on our own. It can be overwhelming for some people. The temp control in my room does not work so well, may need some adjustment.

Fantastic location in the historic center, self check in and out with no issues, large size room with comfortable bed, breakfast was included and we had a choice of a few breakfast options to select from which was more than enough for us. Great service from the all the staff but especially restaurant as on top of everything we were supplied with ice for the room free of charge. We also were able to find a great parking 10 min walking distance from the hotel which we paid in advance for. It worked just perfect.

The only minus for us was that our room had no fridge, but we were given ice daily instead by the restaurant staff. In our room there was also no iron.

The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. They were flexible to meet our needs for example a room with two beds for me and my son, and adapting the menu since I am muslim and can't eat some types of foods. The location is excellent, close to many attractions, restaurants and shops. It is located in a safe neighborhood, quiet, easy to walk in. The hotel facilities are friendly to people with disabilities and older persons, using ramps, elevator is available. Thank you for everything!

It is that I did not like but a way to improve. Management should install small fridges in the rooms for guests to conserve small snacks and beverages. Please, place tea spoons in the rooms and leave fresh water bottles every day would be extremely kind for guests.

Bathroom light is a pain. You wake up at night, but only have a choice between full light behind a glass door, or a dimmed blue light which is automatically turned on in the room as well. Either way, your travelling companion is woken up. The hotel is a bit soulless. It is in an amazing location, but there is nothing to explain where the name “Melibea” comes from, the history of the building, the snow pit int the garden or the relevance of the art everywhere. And we never got any help with getting the safe to work.

The hotel was modern, comfortable rooms, great shower, cafe and bar were great. Location to the centre fantastic, easy walking distance.

When I booked it booking.com had it with parking. My search criteria for hotels included parking. There is no parking at the hotel it is a carpark literally 5 minutes away very close to the hotel. I'm not sure if this carpark fills but I would have been very upset if I could not have parked there. I messaged the day before arriving about parking asking for codes etc but received no response. Thankfully it all worked out and I loved the hotel.

Location is very good. A very short walk to the very centre of Salamanca (walking through the Patio de Escuela Menores which was open all the time). Hotel is simple but comfortable, the building is clever, peaceful and small enough to remain really quiet. It's very quiet (yet in the centre!). This city is so enjoyable... and we will definitely look at this hotel when we are back. Numerous bars offer affordable "desayunos" (breakfast) nearby (the end of Calle Libreros towards town). Terraces to the rooms we booked were really lovely and large. We just wished we had booked a second night!

The bathroom maybe in one of the rooms was a little small and odd (not much space to put things around the sink). Checking can be a little off putting but staff come right up to help out anyway so it was fine.

Breakfast options were good, but if you are up late normally going to any bar after 9am will give you cheaper and more authentic breakast. I have to say they accomodated my need for *Gluten free options and they were super nice. The actual room was nice

There was always an error when trying to connect to the TV via airplay as the TV was not connected to their network. Tried to fix ourselves but it kept giving us error, although we managed the first night, it was not possible the second night

Lovely spacious room with a small terrace and a great modern bathroom incorporating a large, powerful shower. Very soft sheets and huge white fluffy bath towels. Located in an extremely quiet area but only a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral and plaza mayor. Loved the advance check-in and virtual key despite the minor glitch of not being informed in advance of our room number (although this was sorted out in seconds via the entrance intercom on arrival). A really calm and relaxing good place to stay and we will certainly use again next time we're passing through Salamanca.

The clik-clak plug in the sink didn't work. Everything else exceeded our expectations.

Impersonal, no atmosphere at all. No tourist information. Only one person on duty, who was friendly though. The paper room ´key’ with qcode only worked on our room door so we had to ring the outer door bell to get in. In hind site I should have booked a more expensive room. Ours was in the garden and was just like a box: the bathroom had no heater.

I did not like that I did not receive a receipt with the NIF of my Institution for a meal. The staff just told me that the restaurant is not from the some owner of the Hotel (but this is the place where I took breakfast. I understood a conversation had place with their boss and it was told me that I will receive it by email. I never received it unti now, 1 month after my stay. I'm not blaming the staff, they were very nice, but the management.
