This is our second stay at this hotel. We chose it because it's a straight road to the hotel, without the need to drive through the centre and there is plenty of free on-street parking immediately outside the hotel. The hotel also has parking at 11 euros per night. The staff are very friendly, everywhere is clean and there is an outdoor pool and terrace on the ground floor. We booked a superior double, which has a big terrace with a beautiful view of the cathedral and the Roman bridge which you walk over to access the town (10 minutes leisurely walk). There is also a riverside walk which takes you into the town via a slightly different route. The room was big, with a big comfortable bed and comfy pillows, a settee, fridge and desk, as well as plenty of hanging space if needed. The shower was good and the towels big and fluffy. The aircon was very good. When driving to Salamanca this is a brilliant hotel to stay in and we would always choose it. I left a dress hanging in the wardrobe when I left and it was a couple of days before I realised. I emailed the hotel and they said they had found it and I arranged to collect it a few days later. It was beautifully folded and in a bag when I collected it, which meant I could wear it again on my travels without having to find an iron!
The only negative is the state of the outdoor furniture, both on the public terrace and on our private terrace. The chair seats need replacing as they are very rough and curling up, or cushions need to be provided. But that is the only thing I would criticise about this hotel.

Good size hotel. Even being booked out, it was quiet. The staff super friendly and attended all my needs and questions. I am used to pass by the region frequently but never stayed in Salamanca. I will definitely review my futures trips to stop over for the night at Salamanca and more specifically at this hotel. The breakfast was great too. My room got a view over the old town..... Stunning at night!
The only room for improvement would be to make solid soap available in the bathroom. The shower gel is close the shower but the liquid soap is too far away. Got to lean over the full bathtub. A bit risky as you could slip....

Very comfortable, with wonderful staff. Quiet location just a short walk over the river (picturesque, plus wild life) via the (real) Roman bridge to the city centre. Riverside green area for walking or just sitting and watching the birds. The 'superior double room' had a roof terrace with views of the city, well worth the slightly extra cost. Lavish breakfast, also very good value. Our second stay here - we love it!
Nothing.

The hotel was very spacious and there was plenty of room in both the bedroom and the en suite. Everything was very clean and modern. It was so lovely to have a swimming pool and sunbathing area at the pool. The breakfast was a little expensive, but with plenty of choice and interesting things to try. It was a great walk into town each day, crossing the Roman bridge and appreciating all the wonderful architecture as you approach.
It was a shame that the swimming pool area was only available from 11am to 8pm. It would have been nice to go for an early morning swim. Otherwise, it was all great.

The location of this hotel was excellent - very close to the historic center and the Roman bridge The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was ready even though we arrived a little ahead of time. We wanted to have some hot tea and the receptionist quickly made a pot of hot water. We parked our car in the street very close to the hotel. Our room was good in size and furniture. It was quiet. The beds were comfortable. and clean. The breakfast was superb. Elevators helped to move our luggage.
A coffee maker in the room would be a huge plus.

This hotel was a great find in many ways. Firstly, the location is superb. It's easy to find without having to go through the city centre and has very easy, free on-street parking around the hotel and on the petrol station forecourt across the road. The hotel also has its own parking for 11 euros per night. It's an easy walk across the bridge and then a slight uphill to the old town, or there is a park walk alongside the river. The photos show the route. The hotel is very friendly and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble and they even left a couple of small bottles of cava on ice in our room, together with champagne glasses as it was my husband's birthday the day we arrived. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very quiet. Our room was big and light, with two big windows and a large terrace with table and chairs, and a lovely view of the cathedral. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the aircon was fab, as was the shower. There are a couple of bars/restaurants near to the hotel although they didn't seem to be open on the nights we were there. However, it's such a nice walk into town that we probably wouldn't have eaten there anyway. The main square in Salamanca is "electric" at night! And one bar/restaurant in the square that you must go to is Nero. Have the Huevos rotos con gambas al ajillo. I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will have no hesitation in booking again if we're in Salamanca.
Only one thing - we requested a double bed but got two twins, but because the room was so nice we didn't ask to change.

Good hotel. Nice desk and professional. Very straightforward. met expectations. But the location is probably the best in the city in my opinion. Practically right across the street from the foot bridge to the old city. If you can walk 10 minutes I think it is better than staying in the center because the views from across the river and the walk across the river are spectacular, and you won't see that if you stay in center. The steakhouse around the corner is great and serves huge steaks on the bone that you can share with a group. Good pizza too.

The room was very spacious and well furnished. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were lovely. It was great that they had an underground car park which made access to the property easy. Only a 5/10 minute walk from the middle of Salamanca town centre which suited us perfectly.
The only thing I would note which is very small is that the glass shower screen didn’t quite fit to the bath so it directed into the shower slightly. Was a little annoying but not much of a problem.

Everything. Comfortable, roomy, beautifully appointed, well equipped, nothing worn anywhere. Lovely and helpful desk staff. Healthy breakfast though limted options for gluten free diners. Range of dining within 15 mins pleasurable walk. Be sure to take an evening stroll when the town is floodlit. It comes alive. Oh and free street parking in quiet but well lit side street under our window. Good black out shutter.
Nothing to complain about

Perfect location for a visit to Salamanca. A few minutes walk from the Roman Bridge. Good selection at breakfast. Found parking on street so no garage costs!
Although we knew the pool would not be open, the garden area outside was not set out for guests, actually looked neglected! The bar area not inviting which was very disappointing after a busy day. Although lovely Bar near by. The staff where all very underwhelming.
