10 min walk from main square. Private underground car park. Good sized, comfortable room. Easy to find.

Be aware, there is a large park opposite which may me the reason dog owners are attracted to this hotel. Several guests had dogs over the 2 nights I stayed. If not a doggie person specify a ”non-pet” room. Also only one lift servicing 5 floors so likely to encounter a dog in the lift, or a long walk up stairs. you don’t like being around dogs this may not be ideal for you. The car park is underground (3 floors)with a steep access ramp and tight turns. If on a heavy weight motorcycle (like me) it could prove tricky.

lovely comfy bed, great location 10-20 mins walk from all major sites. Generous breakfast with a bit of variety. clean rooms and plenty of storage. lovely park opposite and only a few mins donw hill to bars and resteraunts, then on a few mor mins to city centre. lots of info in lobby on what to see etc, and staff kindly called a taxi for us on lst day to get to station. If you are getting train try to get off at alamedia, rather than mian city station, as it;s literally 5 mins away!

the bathroom is very much part of the room, seperated like an airplaine toilet, so you really cna't hlep but hear everything... not much privacy. Our key cards stopped working a few times, but staff always very hepful in resetting and everyone very nice.

Very good location with a view to a quiet park and walking area. We were pleased to use designated luggage storage. If you arrive by train remember to get out at the final small Salamanca-Alamedilla station (just a single disembark only platform really). There is only a short walk to the hotel from there!

Low hot water pressure in our 4th floor room (sorry Staff, I forgot to report it at the desk upon checkout, that would be better of me...)

A great basic hotel in a good location which was perfect for our needs. The room was small but comfortable and bed and pillows were really comfy. Loved being able to open the window a small amount at night for proper fresh air coming in. It was also quiet overnight. The “capsule” bathroom was quite compact but was fine for us, providing we took it in turns to go in and out! The staff were all fabulous, very helpful and eager to please. We didn’t have breakfast there, so can’t comment, but enjoyed drinks in the evening which were served with complimentary crisps or popcorn which was a really nice touch.

The rooms are quite basic, no hooks for clothes and little hanging space, but perfectly adequate for a short stay.

The location of the motel was handy for links to the main routes and whilst in an industrial area it didn't feel like it. The restaurant had a good selection of food and drinks and the staff were really pleasant. There was a good choice for breakfast. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy and had good air conditioning.

We didn't find anything to dislike really. The parking was a bit confusing as we thought we had parked in a factory car park but reception informed us we were ok parked there and there was plenty of spaces.

The soundproofing of the hotel was good. It is about a 10 minute walk to the old city, so the Plaza Mayor is not close but also not far. The room I had was quiet and comfortable.

Although I was glad to be able to park my car in the garage located underground and belonging to the hotel, I have to admit the spaces were tight and it was a challenge to fit my car into one of them. The garage was built in the era of smaller cars.

I asked for 2 beds in the room and was told a family room comes with a double bed and a single bed. When we got into the room, there was only one double bed. Reception changed the room for us but we then had two single beds butted together. I was with my brother-in-law!! We managed to pull the beds slightly apart but were hampered by the bedside tables

Staff were always friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early and leave our bags after checkout during the day. The room was nice and quiet. The bathroom was surprisingly large and the shower in particular was spacious. We appreciated the option extra pillows on the shelves in the room

The decor was a little bit tacky and the bathroom was spaceage with moulded white plastic surfaces. Everything felt very clean however the room smelled quite strongly of cleaning products for most of our stay. A kettle and some mugs in the room would have made things even better.

Perfect location the city is easily accessable by foot, we were travelling with our boxer dog and the hotel accommodation was perfect. There is a park with a dog play area opposite the hotel, but remember to keep your dog on the lead until you get to it. And close by to the dog area there is a cafe which was perfect for a beer or two. Plenty of tapas bars to go out and enjoy towards the city. Although in the summer it's very hot so leave until after 7 ish to take your dog out with you as the pavements become more shaded. The hotel is typically Ibis very dog friendly, the breakfast is absolutely fine for fuelling up for your travels. Be aware if you have a large vehicle, the parking is underground we got there early so that might have saved us a problem, we were driving a mitsubishi warrior but did manage to park no problem. The staff were all very polite👍

At the second breakfast, there was bread that wasn't fresh. In this hotel, dogs are welcome, which is something we hadn't expected and generally don't appreciate. Therefore we would not stay in this hotel a second time and we cannot recommend this hotel to people that prefer a dog-free hotel.
