I liked the couple who run the place. One or the other was always present. The facilities were clean and comfortable. The central location was great and everything in the town is within walking distance

I didn’t like the breakfast. Even if the price was ok, the quality and variety of the food was not good. I had read that there was no fresh fruit, vegetables or eggs, but I thought they would have tried to improve. I also didn’t like that the maids came into my room without knocking and didn’t listen when I told them I didn’t need to change towels every day.

People look at the stars mostly and instantly think off the top of the head how is it, but low starred places can be amazing as this one. Not everything is about the stars. The room was perfectly clean and regularly cleaned. The breakfast has a decent variety of food to eat. Everything was perfect alongside the price! The staff was more than polite too!

I would not put anything here, maybe thin walls, but nothing that would make me say a negative thing about the place!

Good location! There is a supermarket, bars, beach... Nice staff, clean and tidy rooms.

The room was quite small (as expected though). Daily cleaups were a good thing. The staff was avaialbe 24/7 everyone was friendly and responsive. We were offered dishes and utensils for meals we took in our room, all goods we bought could be stored in the bar fridge and requested any time. Breakfasts weren't variable but quite good for the price (6 eur per person / day) - including cheese and meet slices, sausages, 4 kinds of pastry and bread, jams, nutella, sauses, juice/tea/good coffee. The hostel is well situated in the centre Calella (5-7 mins of straight walk to the beach). Decent supermarket is just 5 mins away. Around 10 mins to the bus station where you may take direct bus to BCN airport for ~11 eur per person (#603 by sagales)

I wish our matress was softer and internet a bit more reliable, that's mainly it. Watch out for the steep steps they have- if you travel with older people you might want to take 1st floor apartments then.

Hotel location (shops, beach, train station, proximity to Barcelona), excellent staff (always on site, always ready to help, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week). Definitely a recommendation to friends.

Unexpected stay. Petra and the staff were really welcoming. The double room was spacious and very clean. The shower room was also a good size and very clean. Little balcony with a table and two chairs. The room also had an air-conditioning and TV. The dining room was lovely and clean. There is plenty of choice on the cold buffet with fresh coffee and tea. The bar is very reasonably priced. We will be returning. It's central to the hospital, centre of town and the beach.

The location is in a quite area but from walk distance from alle te main things. Train station is nearby also like the beach, restaurants, bars, shoppingstreet. There is a big supermarket across the corner. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast for €6,- is very reasonable. The rooms are cleaned every day very good.

The rooms are not that big even like the balcony.

The location is great, the room was small but comfortable and had just about everything we needed. The AC worked perfectly and the balcony was nice. Towels are exchanged any time you want/need them to. I think the only thing the breakfast was missing were some eggs, but it was delicious every day. The staff is incredibly polite. The reception is open 24/7 which we found very helpful!

The place is run by family,they are all very professional, friendly, and welcoming. It is very close to the beach, and generally, the place looks as described. It is one of the cheapest places in the area,but this family runs the business on a high level. We had an issue with the air conditioner on the day we arrived. However, it was fixed within a few hours.

The only minus is that there is no elevator as this is a small hotel,so it can be challenging for people who have a lot of stuff or have young kids if they are carrying a stroller. Anyway, if you indicate this as a special note for them when you are booking the place, I believe they will do their best to give you a room on lower floor.

I was in Calella to participate in the Ironman competition. Hostal Bonavista was my accommodation. I especially liked the friendly and helpful staff. In addition, I found the rooms very comfortable and clean. I was able to bring my bike to the 2nd floor without problems despite the narrow staircase and park it on the balcony. Price-performance ratio and the location of Hostal Bonavista are top. To the beach no 10 minutes walk. Large shopping store right around the corner. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is well equipped with the pastries, cold cuts, drinks, etc.. However, I would have been very happy about vegetables, such as pickles and tomatoes.
