This Hotel is superb during this trip to Spain. First, perfectly located near La Alhambra, thus we just walk around 15min there. Second, the most impressive experience was that my luggage was delayed in Madrid. The Hotel offered great help in providing me necessary tooth sets and comfort. When my luggage arrived, even after I had informed them to extend the room order for one more night, the Hotel immediately called to tell my about the arrival of my luggage and further inquired whether I needed to change the extension of the room from one whole night to half day so that my pre-arranged travel plan would not be interrupted. Lovely hotel full of history and beautifully appointed inside. Breakfast was very good and the staff very pleasant. The balcony/bar/lunch area was very nice with stunning views. . There are public buses available and plenty of taxis (Eu 4). Our room was spacious and the room service/turn downs were very good with a change of towels every day.

Apart from the main foyer sitting area and the balcony there was no where else to relax that was a little more isolated. The hotel was a bit isolated from the city with a 15 minute walk down hill to town and back up which I was not really aware of until we had to walk down and get a taxi back. The bar fridge was working but empty which was a shame.

The hotel, built in the early 1900s, has a beautiful vintage charm that you feel the moment you walk in. Our room had a spectacular view of Granada, which made our stay truly special. The highlight of our experience was the staff—especially Macarena, who went above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable. Honestly, I would return just to see her again. The bathroom tiles were lovely, the service during breakfast and dinner was outstanding, and the waitstaff made us feel like we were dining with family. Be sure to dine in and enjoy the view of Granada from the restaurant.

The furniture throughout the hotel feels quite outdated, which stands out. The bathroom had a poor design—the bathtub and toilet were tinny, and I would have preferred a walk-in shower to make better use of the space.

The hotel has the historic charm that we were looking for. Super convenient for the visit if the e Alhambra and offering great views over the City. We loved the story behind the building and the reference to guests over the last century… the beds and shower were comfortable and the room service was very good. Breakfast buffet was really and pleased the teens no end. We enjoyed a romantic diner and the food was fine.. we usually stay in more modern places but we loved the old fashion splendour. The staff was really lovely, everything was clean.

Breakfast was amazing. Dinner was amazing. Hotel is stunning. We were originally put in a more modern room - totally white with little decor. Did not match the vibe of the hotel. They were kind enough and able to move us to their more traditional room after one night. The second room was amazing and everything we hoped for. Staff was fabulous with every request. Easy short walk to the Alhambra. A steep walk to the city center but worth exploring. Easy to find a taxi back so you don't have to walk so far up hill.

just didn't care for the modern room we were originally put in but the hotel was able to correct that.

Our second visit and return after 20 years! Perfect location just by the Alhambra and 15 minutes walk into Granada. Beautifully presented, nice comfortable room, fabulous view from the balcony. Superb breakfast. Staff all very good. Views from the windows in the hallways, terrace and restaurant are fabulous. Valet parking worked well and made it very convenient.

Service in the restaurant was great but food didn't match the ambiance. It was noticeable there weren't that many people eating dinner. With the right chef this could be a real opportunity as it could be stunning and would make the stay perfect.

Excellent room w/ great views (but expect as much given the price points). The hotel associates were all very helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast was generous, abundant options. Location for Alhambra is excellent; bit of a walk to town center but good exercise.

Housekeeping arrived later afternoon which is not convenient when you've been out all day. Did not use them 1 day as I was out from 10:30AM-3PM and they had not entered. I was working and they knocked @ 4PM. But they did an excellent job when I didn't see them, the building and guestroom are spotless! Literally. An outdoor space to sit/read, etc would be ideal (that didn't involve the restaurant).

Perfect location to see Alhambra palace

The hotel has a beautiful location, but the service didn’t meet five-star standards. Staff were polite but not attentive, and the Concierge was disorganized—no handover between shifts, no notes, and no real effort to assist. We had to ask our next hotel to arrange a transfer for us because they Consierge mentioned that there was a 48h booking and didn’t put effort on finding a solution. It felt like they prioritized large tour groups over individual guests. Overall, overpriced for the quality of service.

locations is very near to Alhambra Palace, so can reach there by walk (about 15 min) it's located at hill, so overview to city is excellent. we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset - so beautiful. Hotel room is very clean and amenity is very luxurious (Guerlain brand), and free coffee capsule is also very good. Breakfast was very good. they provide many kinds of food (salad, ham and cheez, bread, fruit and yogurt) it is worth to eating.

As it's on the hill, it's difficult to reach by walk. Taxi cost is very reasonable in Granada city, so recommend to take taxi to go to the hotel.

The hotel was gorgeous and full of history. It had one of the most amazing views of the city which made it a pleasure just to hangout at the hotel. The location was a 3 minute walk from the Alhambra Palace. Perfect location!!! We went to a concert at the Alhambra Palace at night and simply walked back to the hotel afterwards. The service was amazing from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We can’t wait to stay there again!

Restaurant prices were high but that was expected at a 5 star restaurant! The service was phenomenal!
