The room was very clean, the staff were very friendly even though we didn't speak Spanish. They cleaned and even vacuumed our room every day and provided us with extra bedding upon request. From our room we even had a bit of a view of old town. Nothing more to ask for!

The only issue was that the location was a little bit far from the beach and the main historic area. Maybe a 10/15 minute walk to the main square which wasn't too bad in sneakers but walking 30 minutes back from Malagueta beach in beach shoes felt very long. It's a very pretty walk through the main park though. However, it's a trade off because this hotel is very close to the station that takes you to Torremolinos and more beaches down the coast so this was very convenient.

We were there to see the lights & the location is perfect as 10 minutes walk. Hotel is clean & facilities good. Breakfast was a great choice. Perfect for visiting central Malaga.

We found it difficult at night in the dark finding the car park & when we finally did, it was full. Would have been helpful to know that there was the Indigo Mena one just down the road as we had to abandon the car on the pavement to go into reception to find out. It was quite expensive for us at €243 for 1 night for 3 of us, but then you have the convenience of the location. We booked through Booking.com & it was 3rd January so near King's Day.

Second stay here and it impressed us once again. Lovely hotel, great staff and a relaxed feel (especially breakfast which was plentiful, good choices and laid-back). Rooms are very comfortable.

The sound insulation of the double glazing is negligible - we stayed a Saturday night, were on the 'front' of the building and despite being on the top floor, we could hear the conversations of all the party-goers as they left town. They had some stamina as this went on until 06.00!!!. Not the hotels fault of course and with ear-plugs, not a great issue. TOP TIP - ask for a room at the back.

The hotel offers an excellent location; you only need to cross a bridge to find yourself in Malaga's Old Town. It's also just a stone's throw from the Mercado de Atarazanas (central market). The hotel lobby is pleasantly and trendily decorated. The price-performance ratio is good, which is why we would definitely return to this hotel.

The rooms are small, as is always the case with the Ibis hotel chain, but this didn't bother us much during our one-night stay, especially considering the reasonable price.

Superb location. Just a couple minutes and you're into the heart of the old town. The rooms were perfectly functional and had everything you need. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean!

I would suggest this hotel to anyone but would perhaps caution them to not stay on a Friday or Saturday night. The bar below the hotel gets very loud into the early ours of the morning

We like Ibis hotels because you always know what to expect. They're always well run and we always appreciate the multi lingual 24 hour reception staff. This room was smaller than usual but still nice room and bath. The location is excellent to easily walk to all sites and restaurants. It was easy to park in their pay parking garage.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but we had difficulty in following GPS directions to enter the city and to get to the hotel--made many turns onto small streets. Leaving the city was much easier.

All in all a very pleasant stay. The staff at Reception were extremely helpful and friendly, helping us with location of floor (I don’t go in lifts!), getting a taxi and generally helping with inquiries. The room was basic but clean and functional and the beds were comfortable. There was a nice sitting area in the foyer and a small bar for refreshments which was open when we arrived mid afternoon. Breakfast was ample, including cereals, croissants etc and a cooked buffet. There was also a large bowl of unprepared fruit. It was great for a one night stay and close to all amenities, only being a 5 minute walk across the bridge into the old town. Despite being close to the road it was quiet at night and it felt secure.

The bathroom was a little jaded and small and the door wouldn’t close properly. It was a good shower but the towels were quite small and thin. At breakfast we would have preferred the fruit to be prepared rather than unpeeled and whole. It wasn’t clear if the fruit had been washed or not so we weren’t going to risk it!

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are compact but perfectly adequate. The bathroom. Is small but well appointed and clean.. The staff are efficient and the process of booking in was very simple. The cafe/bar next door was very pleasant. The food was not wonderful but there was a reasonable choice and it was ok for a bunch of hungry travellers after a long day. I had read reviews saying the location was noisy but considering it was Malaga fair, this was not our experience. The location is great. The streets opposite leading up to the cathedral are bustling with small shops and cafes and it is a very short stroll to a choice of interesting museums.we spent one night here on our way to somewhere else but we definitely intend to come back here for a few days to explore. This hotel would be particularly good for a weekend or city break.

There was really nothing we didn't like. Some people with a lot of big luggage might find the room a little small. The bed is quite basic and may not be to everyone's taste but we found it clean and comfortable. At home have a super king size bed with a deep firm mattress as my husband is tall and suffers with a bad back. The bed in the hotel did not feel small as we have sometimes found in even quite expensive hotels, and although the mattress was thin it was quite comfortable.

Standard Ibis but above expectations. Location good on edge of historic area. 20 min walk from bus and train station Warm reception. Room wide outlook over historic area. Clean comfortable modern functional design. Comfortable bed. Wifi fast Aircon efficient Exterior sound isolation good. But struggled to manage the all night party after Spain won the football! Interior sound isolation poor from the ceiling above. Even quiet walking was easily heard. Surprising given seemed a modern build. Recommend but I think the price I paid not great value. Prices significantly lower for comparable lodging in Granada.

The location is perfect, a little too loud so there is not much rest, but everything is close to you from there. Bed linen and towels very clean. The staff at the reception are not too helpful. Breakfast is not bad to start the day, average.

You cannot pay for parking per day and leave and enter the car multiple times. The parking lot functions as a public parking lot by the hour.
