This was the nicest apartment I've stayed in. The decor was beautiful, lovely high ceilings and lots of windows and light. The kitchen facilities were exceptional and stocked with everything you could possibly need including various sized saucepans and frying pans, a selection of nice wine glasses, full size fridge and top freezer with ice cube trays, lots of cutlery, plates and bowls a nespresso machine. There was also an individual bag with dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder, washing liquid, coffee pods and little pots of olive oil and vinegar. The bathroom had a fantastic shower and plenty of hot water. Shampoo and shower gel provided and a proper hairdryer with 3 different attachments. We were in an apartment overlooking the street and when the windows were closed it was very quiet. There were stutters on the windows so it was lovely and dark for sleeping. The bed was enormous and had a selection of pillows. I highly recommend this accommodation and the photos don't do it justice. It's much better in person. I would happily return here on any visit to Malaga. It is well situated for the old town and 15 mins walk to the port and a little bit further to the beach. Great location, great apartment.

The aircon was not working which was disappointing when it was 30 degrees during the day and still in 20's at night. We were advised about this in advance and were given the opportunity to cancel free of charge. We decided to go ahead and hope it was repaired. There was a technician there and unfortunately it required parts to be ordered. It was not fixed during our 5 day stay. I understood this was completely out of control of the apartment and staff and there was no other room available. We were given a fan and I am happy with how the situation was handled by Catalina. Every effort was made to compensate us including an offer to change apartment for our final night. It did not spoil our stay and would not deter me from staying again.

We stayed in the penthouse apartment. It was both spacious and well furnished, and the roof terrace - onto which the lounge and both bedrooms faced - was perfect for outdoor dining. The flat was very comfortable and included a well-organised kitchen providing all the utensils we needed for preparing our meals. It was a real treat for us to stay here. The location just towards the edge of the Old Town was also very convenient, requiring just a short, but very pleasant walk to reach the busy centre. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone, and would certainly look to stay here again. The extra cost of going for the penthouse apartment was well worth it in our view. Although we did not use additional facilities such as the washing machine and iron, they were there in a side room by the kitchen area. We could easily imagine staying here for longer and believe it would be a very comfortable choice in such a case.

We had an excellent stay at this accommodation and couldn’t be more satisfied! From the very beginning, the check-in process was smooth and well-organized, with clear communication from the host. The apartment matched the photos perfectly, was spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful and restful night. The location was also ideal, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and attractions. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests' experience. Overall, we highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again in the future!

Having been told the room that was allocated to us would not be ready until 3.00 pm which I had no problem with, and then told that it was ready for 1.00pm but it would be an extra E20 to access, now or wait until 3.00pm was a little disappointing. If you want to avail of a E20 priority service no problem, you will get the first room that is cleaned, but when you've been allocated your room I think when it's ready it's ready......a fee should not apply in this case. It is not the amount charged that was disappointing, it was the principle. Otherwise it was an excellent service.

Wow - this definitely had the wow factor. A beautiful apartment in a building converted to a very high standard with other apartments. Along a street with cafes if you don’t want to venture too far away for breakfast. It felt very safe especially with a two door entry - it was nice to be welcomed at reception as well with a friendly face. Very clean spacious reception leading up to our apartment on the second floor (lift available). The apartment had everything including small little bags containing dishwasher tablet and washing up and washing machine tablet which is thoughtful. Smart TV so we could actually tune into Netflix and English channels (apart from I couldn’t change the Dutch 😂 but not the end of the world) kitchen was well stocked with everything you need (not that I used it) Bathroom had a great shower. The view of the street through the open doors felt like we had that little traditional Spanish town feel (loved it). Bedroom was a good size and had the best night sleep - pillows and mattress very comfortable with good linen. Whoever designed this apartment had great taste - it’s got to be one of the best places we’ve stayed in - two nights in Malaga was a perfect end to our week long trip. Old town busy but good - lots to do short walk and probably about 20 mins to beach. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Excellent communication with the hosts with lots of WhatsApp guidance etc.

We've stayed in, perhaps, 40 apartments during the last 20 years. This was one of our favourites. Really well appointed, exceptionally clean, comfy & well maintained, great comms from the host team. It was more spacious than the photos suggested. We particularly liked the location - 15 mins walk from the Alameda Centro station that connects in 11 mins to the airport. And a similar walk to the metro. The surrounding streets around La Merced have a great vibe with some excellent bars and restaurants.

We had a brief bit of noise from the street on the first night - just people talking - but enough to wake us. Nothing on subsequent nights. Our room faced the back of the hotel and was consequently very peaceful.

Everything about this property was just great. Perfect location, plenty of cafes around. Property itself is new build and excellent for a family with the kids. It’s better than crunched up in a small family room in the hotel.Flat was really spacious and facilitate very well. It seems like they have taken care of every little necessity for someone to feel close to their home. I would highly recommend this place. I would prefer to stay in Be Mate apartment in different location and try them out.

Prices could be bit less if someone wants to stay for a week or two may be per/night.

We loved everything about this apartment - it was exceptional in every way. The rooms were stunning, luxurious and perfect for a relaxing break in the city. The staff were extremely warm & helpful with their communication throughout - offering advice on places to visit, eating out etc & also dealt with an issue that arose with such professionalism. If we were to return to Málaga in future, we would stay here for sure & highly recommend it to anyone staying in the city.

The apartment has been well renovated, it was stylish and very comfortable. The main bedroom, larger bathroom and living room / kitchen were lovely. Light and airy. The location is great, close to everything but in a fairly quiet street. The second upstairs bedroom and bathroom were smaller, but ok.

Nothing. Instructions for the appliances and safe would have been useful. Stairs to upstairs bedroom might be awkward for children or the less able.

I was told as I was arriving at 7pm that I would have to go to their sister hotel to check in, but that I would also have to check in online (which involved scanning my passport and credit card). I arrived at their sister hotel to be told that they had not received my online check-in and that I would have to do it again. They were very rude and unhelpful and eventually after many phone calls they found my online check-in. No apologies. this really got my trip off to a bad start.
