The room was very clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated on the edge of town. Although there was the opportunity to park our car in the hotel car park for €10 there is street parking in the vicinity. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had breakfast which was continental was very good also an evening meal which was also good

Really only the location.

Friendly staff. Underground parking. Large room, air conditioning. Quiet location next to restaurants.

Bathroom a bit tired. Large corner bath but didn’t feel safe when using it with shower. No grab handles. Shower screen not effective. Had to jam it in place with the corner of a towel and it didn’t stop the water getting on the bathroom floor. No food or drink availability on Sunday.

Unfortunately no kettle for hot beverage in the room

I like the fact that pets were not allowed at this hotel. I have had some bad experiences in the past with pets in hotels and I feel that it is important that non pet owners have a choice of where they want to stay too. The staff at this hotel were very helpful and friendly and the town centre was in good walking distance from the hotel.

The bathroom could have done with a “deep clean”

We stopped off for one night on our way to Santander. Nice spacious rioom, basic but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice.There is also underground parking with a lift which meant no carrying luggage up stairs. Staff were very helpful and polite. There are also bars and restaurants within walking distance, one restaurant made us very welcome. We would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

If you sit up in bed the bed slides from the wall and the pillow falls down the gap , we had to put a towel on the floor under the legs , it helped a little

We have stayed in this hotel before and again the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room and en suite bathroom. Good location.

Review from Howard. The room was booked by my wife Catherine. I stayed in Palencia as I was catching the ferry from Santander the following day. It was ideally positioned for this purpose. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and good value for money. I didn’t have any meals here since I found myself in a nearby village in the evening and ate there instead. The hotel offers secure parking at 8.5 euros per day. However, there was plenty of parking on the streets outside the hotel and I took advantage of this with no issues. I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.
