The overall hotel’s look was a bit tired. But the LOCATION is perfect. All the bar on the top floor is amazing, friendly, cosy decor and views all over Santa Pola are spectacular. The rooms and balconies are specious and clean. Breakfast was included which is a massive bonus when staying with kids. Dinning hall is very well looked after, had everything we needed. Only some rooms had the door between the next door room and acoustic and noises at 3 am were unbearable. So we had to complain to the Receptionist. He called the guests to ask to lower the noise down. Our room was 314. Literally you can hear next door room as its the same apartment. Overall the noise from parties outside is expected especially in a lovely buzzing town like Santa Pola. We had a great 3 days by the beach and we will stay there again.

The fact that our Room 314 had a door leading to the next door Room 312 and 313. You can hear absolutely everything as if you are in the same room. Please choose isolated apartments. No parking Tired and old tiny lift. Hotel needs a bit of love and decoration. BUT LOCATION, staff and views over the beach and town win you over!

The absolutely beautiful location, right in front of the beach! we had our breakfast a step away from the beautiful playa de levante. It was the best ever to wake up to. The buffet breakfast was also exceptional! everything you wanted and fresh was there and of course, the outdoor terrace to eat was awesome!

the bedroom smelt a little when we first went in. Almost like a "closed" smell. It needed some air and that's what we did. After that, we had our room clean meticulously by the loveliest maid called Julia, and it smelt lovely

Polamar Hotel is the place where you want to be on vacation . We strongly recommend staying there.! Excellent and friendly staff. Informative about the Town and the attractions of the region. Beautiful location, close to the beach, short walking distance to the stores and small restaurants. Fantastic breakfast was served in a beautiful room or on the patio. Thank you. We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Polamar. Luisa amongst the other receptionists were extremely hospitable, warm and did everything they could to help us make our stay comfortable. The room with the terrace is amazing, we would definitely recommend it as it over looks the town and the beach. There is a bar directly underneath the hotel and there is a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, with live music and dancing every night. The staff are super friendly and hardworking 😊. The hotel is in such an ideal location right in the heart of the town with so many restaurants to choose from. We would definitely come back to this hotel and area, we felt right at home.

The bathroom is clean but a little outdated with flies that love to linger there.

The hotel was right on the beach and a short walk from the centre of the town. Our room was basic (standard) but had everything we needed. We arrived very late (2.30am) but was checked in with no problem. The unfortunate bit was the hotel was upgrading some rooms and the work started at 6.30am! We asked if we could get a quieter room possibly away from the noisy workmen and again it was no problem for the staff. The breakfasts were what you’d expect (buffet style) and there was plenty to choose from.

Welcome by receptionists was warm and friendly. Cleanliness throughout the hotel and all its facilities. The fabulous location and views. The calming atmosphere and screenshots in the dining area. Central location for shopping, eating, drinking and the twice weekly market. Direct access to the beach.

We liked everything - this is just a tip! Breakfast area could do with being larger, it was congested at times and a larger/ or faster toaster needed as queues quickly formed.

The hotel is wonderful and right by the sea. We had a Deluxe room with a large terrace and on the terrace a bed, two sun loungers and tables with chairs. Every day lying comfortably on the bed on the terrace we had the impression that we were on the beach by the sea. We will definitely come back to this hotel because we were delighted

Very little choice for breakfast and the same every day

Good sized room and bathroom. Comfortable beds. Nice balcony. Friendly helpful staff. Great view from dining room and excellent location as right on beach. Also beach bar attached to hotel was lovely

A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been good . Also a kettle to have a coffee in the morning. Breakfast was adequate maybe some more variety. Hot dishes were actually cold for example the scrambled eggs etc.

Hotel is ideally situated right onto the beach, has a Chill out lounge at the rear, from which you can access the beach directly also has a bar on the top floor. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice, room was very large and bad a super king size comfy bed, staff very friendly and welcoming, all in all a very positive experience.

In short, nothing

A lovely hotel right on the beach with a beach view. The only downside was that nobody told me it was Spanish celebration week and the loud disco/rave literally outside from 12 to 5am meant I had absolutely no sleep. I blame booking.com for this as all those vehemently complaining were in the same boat. But I would return on other dates
