The reception is beyond our expectations, provide very helpful and detail informations about where to go & what to it, we can feel his passion about the city, and we followed the instructions we had a very good stay in Santander. The room is big and the bed is comfortable, the decoration is unique but in a good way. There's lots of sunlight in the morning, and the lighting in the room is also bright enough at night. The location is a little bit off the coast but still easy to get to city center.

Noise(talking,snoring) from next door was noticeable, but luckily the bed was super comfy, so we still got a good night's sleep.

Great location, right on the main artery of Santander, but away from the very center enough to not be too noisy and crowded. Very interesting, industrial-chic room design. Plenty of space and very large bathroom. The host was incredibly nice and helpful with information about the city. There is a parking garage just around the corner and you get a discount for staying at the hotel. There was sort of a mini-kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle.

The shower did not have an enclosure, so it was a little cold taking a shower. Also, I thought the toilet was unusually high, but that may be personal preference. Be advised that while there is a lift, there are stairs to get to it.

Great contact ahead of the trip, gave confidence before arrival and directions on getting there. Very friendly and helpful, really lovely welcome. Beautiful facilities and easy access, great location with local bars right outside. 100% recommend.

Nothing that we didn't like, but make sure you have ear plugs if you don't want to enjoy the hub of the city noise (we loved being part of it), and it's approx. 20 minutes walk to centre, so be sure you're happy to walk (lovely easy walk though, we enjoyed it).

Small but bright and clean room overlooking pedestrianised street. Well positioned in Santander, but be aware it is a long spread-out town that takes some time to walk to places. It's a pleasant walk through the town though, with a good bus service. Warm welcome with helpful local advice. Plenty of cafes/breakfast places nearby.

Cost. Expensive for what it is, but that probably reflects Santander in August

the cushions and bed spread were a little dirty. not much available shelf space, and absolutely needs a shelf in the bathroom. the safe needs a key, which would be better if it had a code, because we were worried in case we lost the key while our valuables are in the safe. Needs some drinking glasses not plastic cups.

The property was very central for our needs as we like to walk everywhere. You are 10 minutes from the waterfront and 15 to the nearest beach. There are so many places to eat the cheapest of which are probably just outside the door. The room was spotless and the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. Even though the room is situated above a busy pedestrian area it quietens down fairly quickly. I am a light sleeper, but I had no trouble sleeping. We were met by Yolanda, a very friendly woman who using the mobile to translate told us all we needed to know about Santander, where best to eat, visit , etc. she was really lovely despite the language barrier. We walked to the Cabo Mayor lighthouse, a long walk which takes in the Palace Magdelena and the beautiful beaches along the way. You can get a bus to these places also. We also visited the El Puntal beach by boat, a round trip of €5 - it rained/ poured from the minute we got off and we walked around in the pouring rain for 1/2 until the return journey. We could of course have stayed on the boat and headed straight back but we’re Irish and well used to the occasional downpour.

The only fault which is minor is that bowls, plates and cutlery could have been provided so that you could eat in your room. We preferred to have a light breakfast before venturing out. Also in most other Pensions that I’ve stayed in coffee and snacks are provided free. Plus side is there is great coffee shop and bakery just a couple of doors up.

Everything was very clean and very nicely decorated, but most important of all was the treatment from your staff. Specifically, the person who greeted us when we arrived by the name of “Yolanda “. Her attitude and treatment was above and beyond. She was very courteous, friendly, and also knowledgeable of the surrounding areas, she took the time to explain to us. What would be the best areas to visit both walking or driving. it is people like her that makes our travel more enjoyable. Thank you Yolanda!!!  We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. ..

All was great

The staff were so welcoming and friendly when we arrived. Location is great, right in the centre and within walking distance from lots of sites in the city. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

The bathroom/shower were a bit small with fairly basic facilities, but was only a minor note for an otherwise great stay.

The place was as advertised, and everything was great. The communication with the place was charming. There were some complications due to weather reasons during my arrival, and the team went out of their way to provide me with the best welcome possible. Biggest thanks to Alvaro for providing me with exemplary communication.

Location is right in the centre of the city with shops and restaurants on the doorstep, take a left and keep walking and you end up at the centro botin within 10 minutes or so. We had the city view room which includes a little enclosed sunroom balcony with a table that was perfect for watching the world go by in all weather. Our hostess was very warm, friendly and helpful, she showed us the best places to visit and left us with a map of the area. The bed is by far the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. The place was spotlessly clean with the room cleaned and the beds made up everyday. Communication from the owner was also excellent.
