Really well located, with everything you need on your doorstep - the sea, restaurants and bars, pharmacy, pizza place, supermarkets etc. Easily walkable. Paid parking onsite was also convenient. The staff were really lovely and helpful, showing us every detail and gave us great information about local places to visit, so helpful to have recommendations. Really lovely stay.

Nothing at all really. If I had to be ultra picky, our bedroom had a frosted door to the bathroom but no bathroom window blind so light came through in the morning which would wake people up. A solid door or window blinds would solve this issue. Otherwise bring an eye mask - which we did!

The location of this hotel is perfect if you(like us) want to be able to head out for a nice tapas paseo at night or head to one of the Bib Michelin restaurants close by. It is a short walk to lots of bars and vinotecas, as well as the seafront, however, itself quietly located in a really nice street with an alley of trees etc. / We had the Garden suite which has a direct access to the small but nice pool area - and def. loved it.

The staff is overall very attentive, the processes are sometimes a bit stiff or strict - for example, having to sign if you lend an umbrella for 15 minutes... or having to book and pay the parking space extra in advance... One could try a more relaxed approach. At the same time, they might send you a small bottle of wine and some cheese for your last night's apéritif, so I'd say: A luxury problem overall. :)

Lovely Little Hotel in a perfect location for exploring Santander. Friendly staff who are clearly passionate about the high standards they strive to achieve and clearly want you to have the best experience possible in this terrific City. Check in took a little longer than we’re used to but that is simply due to staff taking the time to explain everything you’d want to know about your room, the hotel and things to do and see during your stay. Complementary drink during check in was a nice touch as was the complementary breakfast tray in your room each day, if required. Room was immaculate and had everything we required during our week long stay. Location was also perfect for exploring and only a 5 min walk to the heart of the city and a 15 min walk to a beautiful beach. Also spoiled for choice with loads of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Loved our stay in this hotel and Santander and hope to return.

Hotel is in an excellent location in a safe quite area, close to the sea front bay, also 20/25 minute walk to beaches and palace. Daniel was attentive, professional and always available if you needed anything, he also suggested places to visit and good quality restaurants. We had a glass of complimentary fizz on arrival 🥂. Lovely room with balcony overlooking a small plunge pool, room cleaned daily, all staff were friendly and polite. Coffee machine in room with pods and we were left complementary pastries and cakes with fruit daily there was also a small fridge and a safe in the room which is a bonus, we would highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing not to like

We had an amazing stay at this hotel from start to finish. We were greeted with champagne on arrival and then were personally shown to our rooms (and our luggage was carried for us). The rooms are light, airy, well equipped and easy to keep cool. Every day complimentary breakfasts were provided in the rooms and there were tea and coffee making facilities. The pool was a bonus and lovely to relax in after a day out exploring Santander and our son made good use of the gym. The location was excellent. Restaurants, shops, bars, tourist highlights all within easy walking distance. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay - offering to book taxis to the bus station and looking after our luggage after check out. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

This was our first time visiting the north of Spain and what a welcone we received! The staff are super polite, helpful, responsive to requests (we had a small request twice and it was fulfilled with no problem). The check in is personal, all info and clear instructions are given. We stayed in a room on the second floor (there is a lift in the building) - it had a tiny balcony with a few stools and it overlooked the small pool and we got a view over the bay, too. The air conditioning was very effective, there was plenty of storage cupboards in the room, the beds were comfy, the shower spacious with good water pressure. Although the hotel say they don't serve breakfast, each day we received regional cookies or cakes, and a fresh supply of an apple and orange plus coffee pods and tea bags. There was also a small fridge in the room so we bought some jam and yoghurts and we had a great breakfast in our room (just ask for teaspoons at reception). The location is great for walking in all dirextions. Daniel also gave us a map with extensive recommendations, enough to justify a second visit :)

Some noise from neighbours and the town on a Friday night but not the hotel's fault. The window frame needs wiped and the blinds are noisy. Overall, a fantastic stay where we felt welcome. Hotel like this one, with a warm and professional and personal touch, are needed now in the era of Airbnb and key lockers...

comfortable, clean modern rooms in a great location. we paid €10 per day for secure parking in front of the building and it was essential as street parking is very scarce. Jorge is a brilliant host with perfect English and loads of recommendations for activities and restaurants. hotel is located a very short walk from centre

Fabulous place to stay in very attentive (Paula especially) in a very quiet residential area with easy access to everywhere and a regular bus service outside the door which we never used. Bed and bedding always important and lovely and comfortable/ our accommodation was.in the second building next door. Lovely seated area at back of hotel which we overlooked and small pool.but we never got the chance to use. Loved the treats left in the bedroom after we returned every day and free bottles of water. Hotel is up a hill and was bit worried as I have an issue with knees but don't go down the stairs at left of hotel just continue walking and much easier and gradual to get into main areas and see so much more - really easy to find your way about and we walked everywhere. The higher up you walked past hotel the bigger the houses got so well worth it especially as temperature was 23 ISH so really manageable.We will be back loved it here and loved Santander very different from South of Spain.

Just a point to note Santander is v hilly in bits (there are escalators though) so only a little minor point to note and it is tiered so makes it a lot easier to get around and not an issue.

We arrived at the hotel which is on a lovely leafy street, the hotel looked impressive from the outside. On entering the hotel the staff could not do enough for us from checking us in and offering us some Prosecco which was welcomed after our long journey. The receptionist explained everything we needed to know and offered us a map of the area with recommendations for restaurants and key things to visit. He then carried our bags to show us our room and explained everything inside. So helpful nothing was to much trouble.

Everything was great i wouldn't change anything.

The staff were excellent, we spoke practically no Spanish and they were very patient with us and helped us with places to eat etc. The location of the property was very central so made it easy to walk to most areas of the city with bus stops a short distance away. We had a junior suite which was very modern with fantastic facilities and a small balcony, the room was cleaned everyday and to a high standard. I would definitely stay at the property again as we were made to feel very welcome, thanks to all the people who work there.

The only slight disappointment was the pool, more of a puddle but we did think that it could be when viewing the photos before booking. This didn't affect our holiday at all just don't expect much of a pool to swim in
