Location excellent. Very pleasant staff. No complaints about anything except poolside. (See below)

I stayed 10 days . I didn’t get a place at the pool on any of those days because of greedy selfish people. I saw one man putting out 4 towels . The hotel rules state that towels can stay on the sun beds for 30 minutes but staff don’t follow up on this. I mentioned it at reception but just got a sympathetic smile.

The all inclusive breakfast and dinner meals were excellent. Compared to a year ago this year was great. Lots of healthy tasteful options. The staff was always visible and helpful. Room cleaning service was done properly - they cared about what they did.

Better control with use of the sunbeds on the beach. Non hotel guests were arriving with a large group of 10 - 12 people and only renting 2 sunbeds. This consumed a large footprint around the 2 rented beds and infringed on hotel guests with their noise. Foam filled pillows on the beds are not very comfortable. An option of feather filled pillows by request would be a big improvement.

The Amaragua Hotel is simply wonderful. I rarely share my impressions of the hotels I visit, but this time I cannot remain silent. The hotel is extremely elegant, impeccably clean, and exceptionally comfortable. The staff are very kind and friendly. Honestly, I had never seen such a complete and well-organised breakfast – simply outstanding. The location is privileged, and the ocean view is breathtaking. I must also mention the security – digital card access to reach the seafront. The rooms are comfortable, and there are exclusive services such as the spa. Everything was perfect. Congratulations to the entire team at MS Amaragua.

Superb location with easy access to the beach. Lovely pool area outside comfy loungers, much appreciated indoor heated pool/spa. I thought the food was very good, I was half board, appreciate the variety of breads and cereal, good quality ingredients, yoghurts and fruits. Eggs done how you like them, they even tried to poach for me although not quite how I would do it the effort was great, it was fun and the eggs were good. Dinner offered plenty choice of better quality food rather than loads of cheap choices, suited me perfectly. Restaurant staff were great, always smiling.

My room, I’d booked a classic and expected a dated or more traditional feel, not shabby, broken chest drawers, pane of glass cracked badly on balcony which was not very clean or pleasant to sit on. No dryer for wet beach towels, no kettle ( can hire externally) I could pay 30€ per night extra to move but as I only had 4 nights I didn’t bother I also felt I paid enough already and would have appreciated a more understanding response at reception. Spa needs a good clean too.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Very clean and the breakfast room is incredible. The cleaning staff are very friendly. Not so much the reception staff.

The staff are very unfriendly and even rude. We paid for a frontal view and got a side view. I was told if I didn't like it...leave. We also paid for the security box in the room. Ours was broken and requested 3 times to have it fixed, was told someone would be up to fix it and no one ever came. I have been refused the payment back for it even though I took pictures of the broken box.

Large room with large bathroom. Best shower I have ever had-amazing high pressure! Comfy bed and excellent sound proofing. Huge balcony with stunning view of the pool and beach. Pool was fantastic! So well designed and was very easy to get in and out. Gardens and grounds of the hotel immaculate , and beach bar great value. Evening entertainment pretty good too. Great variety of food at breakfast, with delicious porridge and fresh juice. Location fab! Right on the seafront, with flat walk to Benalmádena and Torremolinos, and close to a beautiful park.

Room could have done with a full length mirror and bathroom lacked a toilet brush. Also, a clothes rack on the balcony would be great for drying swimwear and towels. 9am, on the dot, huge rush of sun bed hoggers hit the poolside to reserve their ‘spot’! Lots of these sun beds had long periods of being unused!

The hotel has a touch of class unlike some of those staying. Great room sea facing super king bed plus very large bathroom and balcony.

Selfish rat bags every day taking sunbeds at 6.30 to 7am ....4 hours before they used them. see attached photos. Company poilcy is against it but it is not policed. All beds were towelled up every day by 7.30am..... pool opens at 10.am.

The location was just perfect . Being central in the Torremolinos area - access to the beach , shops and restaurants was ideal.

The king size bed was what we wanted but the mattress was old and needed replacement. The pillows being foam chunk filled are not comfortable. The sheets were old ( thin ) and needed replacing. A toilet scrub brush would be a good addition. The hair blower was not strong enough. The quality of tea bags was poor and not available for the dinner buffet meal. We would be happy to pay more in the package price to have access to packaged non alcohol ( limited selection ) beverages all day.

Had the most brilliant few days. Location is incredible, the hotel was lovely and clean! Really loved it.

Towels on sun beds! People were putting them out at 6.30am!! So so annoying and not coming back for the rest of the days. Wasn’t a bed available for when we got there at 10am

The breakfast was nice and get filled up quickly when it’s running out. As well as certain food like the sausages are kept warm and you have some one to freshly fry your eggs. The spa and pool were also great!

The room could have more amenities ie like a kettle to make your own tea/coffee if not have room service offering to bring drinks to your room. However sometimes late a night a nice warm drink will help relax and get back to sleep.
