Staff pool and seating areas were fantastic. Nice to have shaded areas to retreat too when it’s too hot

Area around hotel a bit run down but not far to amenities and beach The suites were better than our rooms but not available to book on your site which is a negative Especially when we found booking via the hotel a suite was cheaper than the basic room we had off booking.com and included free breakfast! Will book directly next time and do more research into the costs

Good location, 5 mins walk to the beach and promenade. Bus stop outside hotel . We took the 121 to Mijas,about an hours journey but worthwhile. Staff very friendly and helpful, room was good, air con worked a treat. Only a twenty minute taxi journey to and from airport. Got sunbeds easily when we wanted, pool isn't massive but nice for a cooling dip.

The pool area has recently been refurbished which is lovely, but stair carpet leading from the reception to the pool area is a bit tatty and could do with being replaced in line with the other carpeted areas.

(+) perfect location- 5 minutes walk to all shops, restaurants, bars and, the most important, to the beach!!! On the way, you’ll pass a few restaurants which serves Spanish tapas, fish and restaurants with Dutch cuisine; (+) big room with HUGE BED, balcony with the view of the swimming pool and almost whole area (let’s be honest-you can see almost everything from 7th floor), (+) 24/7 reception, lift, AC, bar, telephone, big shower, everyday cleaning available, TV, balcony with chairs, beach towels available to rent during your stay. (+/-) on one hand breakfast was great-nice choice of dishes-English breakfast, pastries, sweets, cereals, Prosecco served every day it’s a nice touch, pancakes; on the other hand, pastries felt a bit old like from other day, same with other dishes- if we came at the right moment dishes eggs were great, if not- felt old; (+/-) hotel is huge and well presented, however felt a bit dated; which is not a big deal just a matter of changing a bits here and there; (+) huge plus goes to staff- very professional reception 24/7- knowledgeable and polite; staff on breakfast- working hard, always smiling and being very helpful; bar by the pool- huge smiles, chatty; extra (+) goes to two people I unfortunately didn’t ask for names (that’s my fault I was too excited to even be there) 29.09 at the bar by the pool: a lady from Torremolinos who borrowed a wine opener to me and a man who made delicious Blue Hawaii cocktail- big thank you- you have a fantastic customer service skills plus you’re very warm and hospitable approach to everyone!!!!! All in all, perfect stay and definitely we are coming back!!! We are highly recommending Princesa Solar to everyone!!!!!

We loved the jacuzzis they made the stay 10/10 We had an actual double bed, not 2 singles pushed together Beds were so so comfy and so were the pillows. The air con was absolutely brilliant worked so so well. Pool area was maintained very very well always cleaned. House keepers were always so so nice and accommodating with towels, toilet paper and toiletries Reception were helpful and kind also

The area on the strip was slightly abandoned but not that I felt unsafe or anything. Also didn’t love the bath/ shower would defo prefer a walk in shower

Fantastic staff - went out of their way to help me with a twisted knee I needed help and with bookings to other places . They were nice and accommodating and gave good restaurant / tapas recommendations. They tried their best to make me feel comfortable. My room was a junior suite so came with a stunning view - even though past a busy street. I’d recommend this place thought the bar/pool area was a bit dead only because it was start of the season

The doors of the rooms slam when people come in and out this can be jarring. There’s door stoppers but even with them they slam and can really startle you but this happens every morning or night at busy times otherwise it’s okay.

The hotel is amazing and location is fabulous! I love the idea that it's only for adults. So it's quiet and everyone is nice. The staff is exceptional and so very helpful. Even before our arrival, we had a great communication with the staff via chat about the stay and other queries. A big 5 star to Ana from reception with a great welcoming nature and a big smile. She has made our stay super great ! A huge thank you for making sure we checked in on time with a romantic package and stunning room views. Such a lovely friendly person! The comfort was beyond excellent. The bed - Heaven and clouds. The best sleep we ever had. The pool and jacuzzis are phenomenal. Never too crowded. Bar and Breakfast has plenty of selective and tasty options. Even gluten-free and dairy free options. Later breakfast timings too, which not a lot of hotels do, so that's really good. I highly recommend this hotel to any couple out there. The staff goes beyond the extra mile and that is what made our experience the best so far ! We will be back again, hopefully soon ❤️

No complaints. Everything was more than perfect!

The hotel is excellent. Before I booked it I read all of the reviews and someone described it as an hidden gem and it certainly is. All the staff are lovely from reception to the breakfast and poolside bar staff and the cleaners also. You get toiletries in your room which is a lovely touch. The rooms are modern and have a safe which there is no charge for which is also a nice touch. Everyone has a pool view also. There is no rush for sunbeds which makes a nice change. A special mention to the receptionist Patricia. She was so pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. There was everything you could want including Cava. The staff kept coming round with pancakes, churros and croissants which was lovely. We will definitely be booking this hotel again in the future.

There’s nothing to dislike about it but if I’m honest the toilet paper could be a little better and cooked breakfast maybe a little warmer.

Everything! The room was clean comfortable and functional with super comfy beds! We enjoyed our south facing balcony with amazing sea views. Breakfast had a great selection and we were always welcomed with the most friendly service! Cava with breakfast- yes please! Thank you to all the front desk staff but especially Patricia who helped us with a map and recommendations upon arrival. We were close to everything and loved the location to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. We had a great stay and would recommend this property 100%!

Everything about this stay was brilliant. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Got breakfast most days, great buffet selection for €10. Staff still go around with trays offering pancakes or churros and even Cava, on top of everything that is already there. Fantastic. Didn't eat any other meals there so cant comment.. Wasn't in the pool but 3 Jacuzzis were brilliant addition. Staff came around with little ice fruit shots that were fab.. Room was amazing, spacious, cleaned regularly. Fab Swan made out of towels when we arrived. Great vibe, very clean, will be back. Fantastic hotel. 5 minute walk to the cute streets & prom.

Struggled to find a negative so that's a sign in itself. But there are a few buildings around the hotel that are closed, so the street isn't the most appealing. But you are only passing through anyway. Quick walk to the pedestrian streets with great restaurants..

We felt the hotel was great value for the money we paid. It was very clean and the room was comfortable. It is situated a few streets back from the front, but it only took us five minutes to get to the beach and the shops of the Carihuela area. We loved the pool and the bar area - beds readily available. The staff are amazing - everyone was so friendly and helpful. We shall definitely return.

This wasn't an issue for us, but the hotel is situated on quite a busy road, so people may want to be aware of that before booking.
