Hotel MS Tropicana is spotlessly clean, all staff are friendly and helpful. Really love this place and the location is second to none. The buffet breakfast is superb. I really struggle to fault it. The Hotel has a loyal, repeated clientele and this is 100% deserved.

There's only 2 things that would improve Hotel MS Tropicana 1. Too many stairs - alot of elderly people visit Tropicana the stairs into the Hotel would be hard to navigate. The stairs to the buffet hall also very difficult although you can get into it from the outside you still have to use the big stairs outside to get there. There is a wheelchair lift but I think more step free access will make this Hotel even more appealing. The lifts in the Hotel are very reliable. 2. A heated pool would be brilliant also with step free access

Fantastic sea view, pool view, huge room, very clean, brilliant staff, shared facilities with sister hotel next door ( MS Amaragua), beautiful grounds, beach bar leading to sea, great evening entertainment. 10/10 Really enjoyed our stay at the Tropicana.

Bedroom needed mirror on dressing table, bathroom needs walk-in shower & glass screen instead of bath with curtain (it was immaculate though). Hair dryer in bedroom instead of bathroom might free up bathroom? No power sockets at bedside, only sockets were miles away from beds at dressing table.

Excellent choice of breakfast. Location is perfect in middle of both Benalmadena and Torremolinos. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Rooms regularly cleaned with fresh towels. You can get a beach towel for €10 deposit and change them when needed.

No kettle in room. You can hire one for €15 per week, but we was only there 3 nights, you can buy a kettle for €15 so I couldn't understand why they couldn't put one in the rooms. Other than breakfast there was no way of getting a coffee or drink in the hotel, I didn't want to keep going to next door hotel for a drink.

Right next too The beach nice gardens and pool area.Room was good size and nicely decorated lots of storage space.

We were in room 305 the bathroom wasn’t designed properly.the toilet was half under the wash basin made it difficult to sit on. Didn’t like where the shower was situated.The small mirror on pole wouldn’t stop up,kept sliding down Also the toilet wouldn’t flush a few times my Husband had to sort it out.Apart from that it was always clean and the towels were changed often.

Could not fault the staff. Very friendly & helpful.

As a disabled person had to use the lift from reception to pool area. Found this very difficult as door kept opening this can be very dangerous & needs updating. We were in room 501 and couldn't reach wardrobe to hang clothes up as am only 5ft tall.

The hotel stay was good, breakfast and dinner were ok, but drinks during dinner were quite expensive 25 euros a bottle of cheapest wine. The view from the room was nice. It was cleaned every day, sheets and pillowcases were changed every few days. Close to the beach, shops, good transport links to Malaga city and the airport. I didn't like the fact that there was no good choice of food for vegetarian especially in the evenings and that there was only one grill where thay have made meat and vegetables for vegetarian, I have an allergic from pork meat at one of the evening I understand this about grill - one and the same for vegetables and steaks. The cleanest was ok. The caffe too, I liked it.

I didn't like the service staff at breakfast - very bad attitude towards people, they don't allow you to sit much. They are not kind at all. Especially the blonde older lady.

The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. In particular Arianna is the jewel of the crown. The location is fine. The breakfast not to the best quality and the waitress in chief - a blond old woman - not friendly at all, if not rude. The room was spacey and comfortable and the cleaner - her name is Packi I think - a brilliant professional. Very impressed by the toiletries - couldn't expect that, more luxurious than many luxurious hotels. Very easy to have a taxi in your doorstep via the reception.

It's a tired old hotel. The mini fridge in the room is very... mini, tiny. Every day one of the 2 lifts didn't work and for 24 hours there was no Wi-Fi.

Excellent stay. Location great. Yes the hotel is getting on a bit but lovely and clean and quiet. We had a large room with lovely sea views. We found breakfast to be fine for us and good selection. The staff were helpful. The cleaning staff work tirelessly to keep everything spotless, rooms, general areas, pool and grounds. We were able to use the facilities at the MS Amaragua next door to Tropicana. lovely setting for an evening drink. Again staff were great. We would definitely stay again. Had family members staying in other rooms and they enjoyed their holiday also.

Would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Excellent hotel, location great staff helpful and friendly could not do enough for guests. Lovely pool areas loads if sunbeds, breakfast lots of choice

One problem I was travelling with family and was separated from them on different floors at 77 I needed to be close by and one of my sons had a room on ground floor close to dining room very noisy got very little sleep As hotel was full they could not change rooms. Had requested that our party's rooms be near each other but Unfortunately we're not. But dud not spoil holiday would return

From arrival to departure, the staff were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The choices available for the breakfast buffet were excellent, there's literally something for everyone. The rooms were a great size, the beds very comfortable and the room and bathroom very clean. There's a great area around the pool with free sun loungers to relax on or right in front of the hotel there's a bar on the beach as well as sun loungers and parasols which can be rented. There's a handy supermarket next door too. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back.

It's hard to find anything to criticise about the hotel but the only negative I'd say is that they don't have irons available for the rooms.
