This resort was at a great location, walking distance to stores, bike rentals, and so much more. The staff at the hotel were so nice, other than the servers at the Tiki Hut. The server acted like she didn’t want to serve us and it wasn’t busy the hour we went - 3pm. The pool was nice and its beachfront. There is a walkway toward the beach with swings, chairs, bathrooms, splash pad, and changing areas that was so nice. Allys coffee was great! Overall the stay was great other than the restaurants at the resort. We would go again.

The restaurant, The Porch and the Tiki Hut, wasn’t worth the money. The drinks weren’t good for adults or kids (my kids didn’t even touch their frozen drinks after they tried it) nor was the food worth it. The shrimp was popcorn shrimp from Walmart. We spent over $80 on nothing (appetizer 4 frozen drinks). We had to go to a local restaurant in town (which was worth it). The room we had was attached to another room so it wasn’t comfortable. But other than this, it was great. We would book there again.

Breakfast was amazing, we got the complimentary coupon. I also requested a late checkout. I received a Complimentary 1 hour late checkout. The guy at the check in counter was so helpful and very kind. After we checkout out , I asked if we could stay at the pool for a little while longer. He said I can do better than that, y’all can stay all day. Your parking pass is for today, you just had to check out of your room. I told him that he had just made my day . I highly recommended the Beach House Resort.

The interior blue wallpaper and the doors to the rooms were scratched up chipped nicked and made them look very old , dirty and ugly. The blue interior wallpaper did not go with the beautiful elevator theme and the front entrance lobby. The lobby and the elevators with the shiplap is more elegant. The walls of the hallways with the blue wallpaper Just made me think it came from a cheap motel. But other than that I we enjoyed everything about the resort. I highly recommend it can’t wait to go back.

It was our 26th anniversary and we happened to luck out with the perfect room on the 5th floor overlooking the ocean and the tiki hut where we could experience the nightly bands.

The maid service seemed a little unreliable. We would try to leave every morning and stay gone until noon or so and still would either not receive room service (exchange of towels, trash service) or they would arrive when we would arrive mid afternoon when we would come back to freshen up. Not totally a big deal but then the maid waited on us outside our room on day of checkout waiting for us to leave.

The hotel is right on the beach and close to restaurants and cafes. I also left my Kindle in the room, and the staff kindly shipped it to me, which was really helpful.

Everything was fine. The only thing I didn’t like is that the daily room tidy-up doesn’t include making the bed. You have to ask for a full service for them to make it, which also includes extra things I didn’t need. I’m on vacation, I don’t want to make my own bed, and I want to come back to a neatly made bed. After I spoke with the front desk, they switched my room to full service, and from then on my room was cleaned every day. If you don’t want to be disappointed by a messy bed on the first day, make sure to request full service at check-in. They didn’t tell me this when I arrived.

The room was clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The hotel also had plenty of parking in October. The staff was very helpful - we called ahead because we had a U-Haul trailer and wanted to ensure there was ample parking. They blocked off a few spaces with traffic cones so we would have a place to park. :)

This is a very minor thing: The hotel sends automated texts to the guests which can be helpful. We had the privacy sign on the door and I received a text asking if we were sure that we didn't want the room refreshed. This is very considerate but it wasn't clear if they would have entered the room if I had not responded and said that I didn't want the room cleaned.

Location was great. I was skeptical after reading reviews but couldn’t find anything else on the beach that could match price point. Beach is at the rear of the hotel. A very nice walking trail is directly across the street in the front. A lot of activity we didn’t have a chance to use. I think there was some sort of free shuttle just a short walk down the street. He liked the nearby golfing. We went the weekend before Labor Day and everything was open and very few crowds. The pool was larger than I expected. We didn’t get to go to the Tiki Hut (we’re seniors) but from the music it sounded fun.

I ordered a turkey club at the poolside restaurant. I was served beef brisket. I told the waitress and she offered to take the brisket and get what I ordered. I hate wastefulness to I said I’d eat it since it was good. When she brought the bill I was charged for the brisket which was more than the turkey club I’d ordered. When I brought it to her attention she took off the additional charge. I believe it should have been totally credited but I didn’t speak up.

The location of the facility is great. Restaurants and bar on site. So, you really do not have to leave unless you want to sightsee. Which we did but even Harbor town was 15 min away. We really could've taken a bike ride. Shopping stores are close enough to walk and even a grocery store was within the shopping center. Love the key wristband so convenient and makes it so much easier to get into your room without searching for a key card.

The facility was clean and nice. But the bathroom showers could use some updating and also where the fridge was could use some updating. The balcony could've been a little bigger enough to sit out and enjoy the ocean views

We specifically booked this hotel because of the Tiki Hut. Great ocean front bar/outdoor restaurant with live bands performing all day. We wanted that vibe.

When I am at the beach I like to get a room with a balcony where I can sit and look at the beach/ocean. They have rooms on the first floor with big outdoor patios where you can sit, but because they are on the first floor and behind the Tiki Hut, you don't have the ocean view. So I specifically chose an upper floor ocean view. The room did have sliding glass doors that open, however the "balcony" was so narrow that there is only room to stand. Not even enough room for a chair to sit on. So beware, you can't really enjoy your "balcony".

Location...beach access, tiki hut, Restaurant, brunch, access to shopping within walking distance. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fun atmosphere. Nice pool and umbrellas were abundant. Overall very nice!!!! Keep hiring those staff with great personalities!!!

Parking....had to park along driveway behind parked cars because there was not enough parking for their guests and was stressful for us to have our car not parked properly worrying us to possible accidents. Bathroom needed help...too small!!!
