Ease of access to beach

Did not like the extra $10 a day charge for parking. Almost canceled the reservation because that was not advised in the booking

We celebrated our son's 11th birthday and this hotel was perfect for a quick trip. We loved that it was a modern hotel, our room was clean, they gave us free parking, the outdoor pool was clean, it was close enough to walk to the beach. They have a decent breakfast (no hot food) but they did have coffee, hot chocolate and free ice all day.

We got charged more than we booked for though ($176.72 is what we booked for and they charged me $209.79) and when we asked for towels they acted weird. I wish they had more gluten-free and dairy-free breakfast options.

Room was clean, breakfast was all we needed and it was included, pool was right there and fairly clean, staff were very helpful. Beach was just a short walk it was very clean and both soft and packed sand for an easy walk along the water. The Plaza that was just a walk or short drive down the road was fantastic with everything you could want along with the FREE Breeze Trolley to other locations.

Elevator was very slow. Also it would have been nice if there was an airport shuttle or at the very least an inexpensive option. That is all I can come up with to detract anything from this trip at all

The proximity to the beach. Available breakfast. I can't say too much because it rained all day on our main stay day. Restaurants are everywhere. Skillets is excellent. Sweet Al's is delicious.

We had a couple spider problems. Facility needs to have bug company out to spray. Bathroom is VERY small.

The hotel Receptionist Sherry was awesome. She was both pleasant & very informative making our stay even greater! Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, thanks a million to the kind & thorough housekeeping staff and we felt safe indeed!! Regarding my having read the reviews prior to visiting the hotel, we found our stay to be fantastic! We didn't mind the continental breakfast as much, since we were traveling & frequenting the local restaurants. However, we REALLY missed not having a microwave oven in the room to heat up our leftovers, which actually was definitely a first experience for us!! Hopefully, a microwave can be put into the rooms and with that being said, we would highly recommend the this hotel & are looking forward to our next stay!

I knew I chose a less expensive hotel to save money. Some reviews had been negative, but we had a recently updated room (very clean!.), slept well in a good bed, a fantastic shower, great coffee and tea bar (24/7)and an adequate breakfast! Some places don't offer ANY breakfast!

The exterior parking areas seemed dark, tho we felt safe. I do recall islands are choosing low light levels to encourage turtle nesting.

Brought memories back when I worked here years and years ago when this hotel first was the best Western I was in my late 20!! I am now in my 50! And I came back! What Wonderful changes it has made.!! Beautiful rooms the lobby, the breakfast was delicious although not much of a selection I thought maybe some fresh fruits or more pastries available, maybe some granola, for the yogurts or oatmeal cups, or cereals.

With this location I can tell the parking has always been a issue I can believe there's still hasn't been anything resolved to accommodate more parking for guests. I which s we had a shuttle to and from the beach access.

My recent stay at this hotel was quite pleasant, thanks to several key aspects that made my experience enjoyable. Firstly, the facilities were impressive and well-maintained. From the lobby to the common areas, everything was modern and inviting. The beds were another highlight, providing excellent comfort which ensured a good night's sleep every night of my stay. Cleanliness is a top priority for me, and I was pleased to find that the hotel met my expectations in this regard. The rooms and common areas were spotless and well-kept. One of the major conveniences was the free parking offered by the hotel. It made coming and going hassle-free, which is a big plus in a busy area. The staff deserves special mention for their friendliness and helpfulness. They were always ready with a smile and willing to assist with any queries or needs. The location of the hotel is superb. It's just a 10-minute walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the seaside without having to drive or take public transport. This proximity added a lot of value to my stay.

Despite the many positives, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The breakfast offered by the hotel was average at best. The selection was quite limited, consisting mainly of butter and bagels. It would have been nice to have a broader range of options to start the day with a more satisfying meal. Expanding the breakfast menu to include more variety would greatly enhance the overall experience for guests.

The facilty was clean and attractive, the rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. We actually played games in the lobby/breakfast area one evening since we had a larger group and it provided a great space for that. The breakfast was adequate and good. I suspect that it was less than it would be during prime season but we were there in January and there were very few guests so I felt like the breakfast options may have been limited compared to other times. The staff was nice.

We had adjoining rooms and the second room had no electricity along one wall - lights, plug-ins, etc did not work. We reported it immediately after check-in and then left for dinner. It was not fixed when we returned late in the evening and didn't finally get fixed until later the next day. Since we were only there for two days it was definitely an inconvenience and it was frustrating.

This was our first time going to Hilton Head Island so we were open to anything. The hotel was convenient with its location. We weren't far from anything really. The beach was a 10 mins walk and there were plenty of places to eat. The breakfast was good each morning too. The hotel was clean and the bed comfy too.
