It was our 26th anniversary and we happened to luck out with the perfect room on the 5th floor overlooking the ocean and the tiki hut where we could experience the nightly bands.

The maid service seemed a little unreliable. We would try to leave every morning and stay gone until noon or so and still would either not receive room service (exchange of towels, trash service) or they would arrive when we would arrive mid afternoon when we would come back to freshen up. Not totally a big deal but then the maid waited on us outside our room on day of checkout waiting for us to leave.

Location...beach access, tiki hut, Restaurant, brunch, access to shopping within walking distance. Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Fun atmosphere. Nice pool and umbrellas were abundant. Overall very nice!!!! Keep hiring those staff with great personalities!!!

Parking....had to park along driveway behind parked cars because there was not enough parking for their guests and was stressful for us to have our car not parked properly worrying us to possible accidents. Bathroom needed help...too small!!!

Incredible live music every night at the Tiki bar. Great service and REALLY fast food service. Breakfast at the Porch was good and good service at the Tiki on the beach. Servers and Staff were great, you get the feel of an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, but you are right in the heart of Hilton head Island.

Tiki drinks were poured very light - need to check on that especially for the prices. Rooms were loud, the door provided almost no noise isolation. The real issue is people being super loud and letting kids or teen yell and run down the hall late at night. But bring a sound machine, ear plugs and its all good. The A/C in our room would stop running at night and get very hot, then I would get up and it would get cold after changing by one degree.

They have done an excellent job with the exterior renovations over the past year. The TikiHut and pool areas are well done. The rooms make the most of the space that is available. The staff were pleasant and quick in their work. The location is as good as it gets on Hilton Head Island. It was nice having a view of the ocean from our 5th floor north side room.

The interior renovations aren't on par with the exterior renovations. Still feels like an old beach hotel walking down the long spartan hallways. We also had a constantly running toilet which we resolved manually when we wanted quiet time.

Nice place, could use some up dating , the rooms were pleasant, A bit pricey but your paying for the convenience.We only stayed over night so I can't be very fair in my review. The bathroom was a little small but the shower was good and the rain water shower head was nice . There was no ice machine on the fifth floor so I had to travel down a floor. We had a-beach front room ,the view is fair but your seeing a lot of roof top from the building in front. The band music stopped at a reasonable hour-so it didn't disturb our sleep

bath room was small. and crowded. We had difficulty getting the heat to work. The night we stayed was cold

Excellent Location, right on the beach. Very nice remodeled pool area and Tiki Hut since our last visit. Very relaxing atmosphere overall. Excellent food and beverage experience at The Porch. Doug is a wonderful bartender. On the day we arrived, he encouraged my wife and I to sit at a specific table for dinner as they are donating a percentage of sales to breast cancer research for October. This is an older property that they've recently invested money in the amenities instead of the rooms. Room was clean and comfortable, overall, but could use some freshening up from an appearance standpoint. This property is also within close walking distance of Coligny Plaza which has lots of shops and restaurants. This is our 2nd time staying here and we'll be back.

Limited luggage carts for check in and check out. My wife and I had to carry all our luggage to our room on arrival. When it was time to leave our neighbor on the 5th floor had already stashed the one standard luggage cart outside their room so I had to use a float style cart which caused extra trips. The service at the pool was lackluster. On our first day the server was too busy drinking his daiquiri hiding behind the towel container than attending to our order. The second day I didn't even see an attendant at the pool. The Tiki Hut service was interesting. The first day I had to walk up to a bartender to get table service after 15 minutes of being ignored. Our second experience was much better with a very attentive server.

The room was clean & comfortable, the time spent on the beach was very nice, We liked the quick access to the beach and the Celebration Park.

Although we selected a partial view of the ocean, we weren’t expecting the room view of the ocean to be blocked by the Tiki Hut Bar, there were visible pipes, etc. In the view. There was a water dripping throughout the night, we think it was a hot water heater. The food at the Tiki Hut was terrible, the wings were very salty, they served popcorn shrimp, I was expecting at least a mid to jumbo shrimp & the drink was watered down. We only ate breakfast the next two days, we went offsite for lunch & dinner.

They had a plumbing issue and we were unable to get the desired 2 room suite (had to sleep with the kids). Staff were great though called hours before check in. was Gave us choice of rooms and discounted rates. Location is amazing. Breakfast was good as was the music. Stayed here 15 years ago and it’s much nicer now despite the saltwater showing her age in spots. Really like you gee a water proof wristband to come and go with RFI. Heated pool was nice. Overall very clean, great spot, pet friendly and no super loud neighbors. Will stay again!

Oceanfront-opened balcony door and allowed the sound of ocean waves to sing me to sleep as we were in an oceanfront king Walkable to many restaurants & live music venue at your doorstep Upgrades were exemplary! The pool area is beautiful! The room was a great size & extremely clean! The shower was amazing with a waterfall showerhead. Recent renovations did not go unnoticed!

Sometimes parking lot attendant was absent which caused patrons visiting the Tiki Hit & beach to take up spaces from hotel guests. I felt if the resort fee covered parking more attention would’ve been given to the parking lot.

Everything was well implemented and thought out in reference to convenience at The Beach House. Only suggestion I have is to have valets for luggage instead of carts for the guests to use as the only qay to get their belongings to n from their room. With the beach gear and luggage and only one place to unload is hectic and alil gruesome getting to n from your vehicle to unload n reload. I think it would be a smart idea. It will just make the hotel stand out even more and would cover all avenues. My favorite is the PORCH!! delicious breakfast, lunch, n dinner!! I will be back. It is my new favorite retreat!! Thanks to all the staff!! Keep up the great work!!
