Location close to Sarasota airport and a short card ride to downtown Sarasota. No noise from nearby planes. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bar had a good selection of all kinds of drinks and coffees. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Rooms were quiet due to sound proofing, air conditioning was ample. Hotel was decorated tastefully and was very nice, lobby was a good place to rest and have a drink. Area was safe, good for families and for all kinds of travelers.

Restaurant for lunch and dinner had very limited choices. Mostly appetizers and sandwiches. Breakfast was good, the bar was good.

We come to Sarasota now for the past 10 years and this is our first time here at the hotel! The hotel was decorated very nice. Nevis, Adrian and Christian all who work at the front desk was great! I had some issues at first before we arrived but Adrian went out of his way to make things right! Thank you! The room was bigger than we expected and it was very clean.. Being right at the airport we didn't hear no PLANES fly by in the hotel.. The hallways was quiet and clean. Breakfast was cheap only $7 for the buffet... We will definitely be back next year!

They only had one elevator working and it made long wait for the elevator! We found out the elevator been out of order for year now!! Please fix! This is reason for getting a 9 rating not a 10!

The location is good for my needs, the general design of the hotel fit my style, I do love the room without carpet, is much more hygienic. Friendly Staff.

I'm ok to pay extra for the cleaning, the pool, the gym, the breakfast... But the list is getting long for all those add-ons! Especially when the price per night is NOT Flat rate, we could get something at least partially offered, like some pass for the pool or the gym... The elevators are sometimes really slow, or just one is functioning.

Location is great. You actually can walk to Sarasota-Bradenton SRQ Airport. Rates are reasonable, especially when compared to other hotels in the area. Kompose is uniquely aesthetically styled. Very cool and hip. Kind of a minimalist and industrial design that was created with a lot of love and attention to detail. Cafe in lobby has delicious homemade treats and Bohemian type jewelry and crafts for sale. The layout is intuitively beautiful and resembles a modern European hotel for sure. Lots of exposed concrete, vinyl wood laminate, and clean lines throughout. Room was comfortable and clean. With same simple design as hotel common areas.

No cash accepted for food or any items on sale in the marketplace lobby. Staff is a bit aloof. Hotel is cool, but some of the staff comes off as a bit too cool. Not every person staying at the hotel is a young or well traveled hipster. General vibe seems to cater to a specific kind of person. Which is more than understandable.

The breakfast was great for the value of $7.00 per person, although on booking.com is listed as $5.75 nevertheless it was fine and convenient.

The breakfast could have varied a little more on a different day but like I said for the price and covenience of not have to go out and look for a breakfast place everyday, I am not complaining. We didn't particularly like that the doorto the room slammed shut everytime. The fridge was not cold enough to keep stuff cool. I found it strange that there were not usb plugs unless we missed them but we looked all over the room to be able to charge our phone and didn't find any. We were lucky that we happen to have our own pucks to plug. Hotel and staff did not have or know of area information. Such as things to do, entertainment, shopping activities ect.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel. Danny and Kristian greeted me upon the amazing entryway full of artwork, beautiful chandeliers And unique gorgeous designer furniture. It smells so clean and everything was shining. This has been a super fabulous stay! The room is amazing, Entire property has great vibes, concrete walls, Super comfortable bed And firm pillows! high quality shampoo and soap for use. The bar opens at 3 PM.The pool closes at 10.The food has fabulous Bites at the bar. And for $7 you get an excellent breakfast buffet. I just love this place.Can't wait to come back!

This hotel has artsy, whimsical decor with an industrial chic esthetic. The location was within minutes of The Ringling and Downtown, it was clean, had a hip vibe and was the BEST value out there. We stayed 2 nights... the bed and pillows were super comfy, the TV was huge and there was plenty of storage on the shelving provided... we couldn't have been happier with the choice and will DEFINITELY stay here again when visiting Sarasota. Thank you Kompose Hotel for such a fun, pleasant experience!

They were laying new carpet in the hallway on our floor and the glue was a little smelly, but it did not smell in our room and is only making the hotel better... so a minor annoyance!

This is a consistently good place to stay for work near downtown Sarasota and the airport. It is quality stay, comfortable bed, affordable price, great amenities though I have never been able to make it to the gym. The pool is very nice.

There was a very noisy group by the pool and beneath me on one of my work nights. I've found it's difficult to find or locate staff to help after hours. Also, I've not had good success with phoning the property to get help with anything relative to after-hours checking in or after-hours information and support. Other than that, it is a quality stay, comfortable bed, affordable price.

Property remains a good value and is well positioned for continued improvements. Staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. Rooms are minimalistic but comfortable. Needs a few tweaks as described below but these are not deal breakers.

Minor but ongoing issues with the shower stalls - the lack of a sturdy soap holder (the wobbly wire soap holders are constantly dropping soap and shampoo on the floor); and the lack of a slip-free shower mat (or other solution due to the shower floors having a black slippery paint on the floor). I bought a slip-free mat and a suction-attached “portable” soap holder which I now bring with us when we stay here, but REALLY! It shouldn’t take much $ or effort for management to fix these issues, which have been reported by other reviewers.

breakfast was worth it for the price, variety of good options (eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, toast, bagels, waffles, yogurts, more than 10 types of cereals, juices, coffee); Nice pool and hot tub; decent gym and sauna. Staff are very friendly. Overall a great experience!

room is kind of small, not enough space to store clothes; bathroom is the worst part if you’re traveling with other people, sink is near in front of the bed, there’s no hanging towels inside of shower area, no trash can inside restroom or room. No room service but you can request new towels at front desk anytime. it’s a better choice if you’re traveling by yourself or in a couple. We went with a toddler for 2 nights and was ok, more than this I do not recommend.
