We booked Hibiscus Hotel last minute and everything turned out amazing. Brian at the front desk was wonderful — super kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and clean, with plenty of toiletries provided. The furniture was in great condition, and the sofa bed was both practical and easy to use in addition to the two comfortable double/twin beds. The kitchen was well-equipped for 4 guests (and could easily work for 6), with a perfect-sized fridge, stove, and even an oven. Having two TVs (one in the living area and one in the bedroom) was also a nice touch. The hotel amenities were a real highlight: pool with disabled access, free parking, laundry facilities, BBQ grills, and even beach perks like complimentary chairs, umbrellas, inflatables, toys, sunscreen, and towels. They also arrange shuttle rides to the beach — free of charge, you just tip the drivers — which is incredibly convenient. The only small downside is that the property has no elevator, though there are ground floor rooms (just highlighting this so you can request a room on the 1st floor). Also, the bathroom setup is a bit unconventional: there’s just a sliding door to close the vanity area and the bathroom per se (toilet/shower) is open (no full door), which might be slightly inconvenient for larger groups but works fine for families. Beach wise (for location purposes): 20 mins to Longboat and 30mins to Ana Maria Beach (amazing public beach with lovely small bar to wait for the sun set and free parking) 5 mins to Siesta Beach (beautiful public beach with free parking) Overall, the stay was excellent — comfortable, clean, and full of thoughtful details. The staff was outstanding, and the extra touches for beach days made everything even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely come back without hesitation.

It was a fantastic stay. Hotel is renovated, everything looks new and clean. We had a room with a small kitchen and refrigerator so we could prepare something to eat by ourselves. A sofa in the living room was very comfortable and beds in sleeping room as well. Staff at the reception very nice and friendly. They offered us a map and gave recommendations for a nice beach. We could borrow for a day a beach umbrella, chair and freezbie for free. Walking distance (10 min) to the nearest beach (but we drove). Beautiful, white sand beaches. Nice and clean swimming pool. Can also make a grill near the pool. Big parking lot. Would stay there again.

I arrived about 6:00pm. There was a blonde lady who was the receptionist. She was very nice and friendly. She checked me in and off to my room I went. I decided to walk the block over to Carabbas for dinner. The neighborhood was a little sketchy, but I felt safe. When I came back there was someone that was banging on my door. As a woman o was alone and there is no peep hole to see who’s outside. So I didn’t answer. I waited 5 minutes, and then called the office to let them know that there was someone that was banging on my door. A young girl answered and then told me it was her. I explained that without a peep hole it’s a bit scary for someone to be banging on the door at 9:00pm. Her answer was I was trying to see if anyone was in the room, because I can’t tell if it’s occupied or not. I said, well I paid with my debit card so I should be on the system. After that, o was getting ready for bed, when I pitched there was a back door in the bedroom. I went to make sure it was locked, but it wasn’t. The door was partially opened. I then checked the closet. All of this was unnerving. I was nervous after this, and didn’t sleep well. I just think on the future. The front desk should call a customers cell phone, as it was required to have the cell number on the form I signed. Also, the housekeeper needs to make sure those back doors are secured and locked.

The location was great! It was close to the beaches and there were many restaurants in the area. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room overall was clean and comfortable. The water pressure was wonderful in the shower. Both of the tv’s were very nice. I liked having a full size refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and helpful also. I would definitely have no problem staying there again.

The pictures on their website make the room look larger than it is, but it is still larger than most.

Very close to Crescent Beach and to Siesta Key Beach. Our stay here was more than we could've asked for. The room is spacious, very clean, comfortable and accommodating. The king size bed was comfortable, the living room area was spacious and the sofa was comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The pool is nice and has a tropical feel to it. We were impressed with one end of the pool being 8 feet deep. Having the gas grill was also convenient The parking is very convenient and lots of spaces. The staff are friendly, professional, resourceful and helpful. We will be back!

Can’t complain about too much besides small things aesthetically but again the price is right for this area and the accommodation.

The apartment was nicely finished, very clean, well-equipped kitchen area and well-furnished, spacious sitting room and bedroom areas - it had everything you need for a comfortable stay - loved the separate dressing table area adjoining the bathroom - perfect not having to look for a comfortable place to do your hair and make up - loved the lighted mirror! Staff were very nice and helpful.

A stronger window blind or blackout curtain in the bedroom to stop the daylight coming in early would be good. I had been concerned about the property's close proximity to the road - it was a bit noisy at the pool area during the daytime but earphones took care of that - and it honestly didn't cause any issues at night time when sleeping.

NO bugs.....most important for me. It was an awesome CLEAN suite with its own beautiful kitchenette. I couldn't believe the HOT water was almost instant. Those above 3 were the most important. I was there for 2 nights & was thankful that the bathroom was cleaned up on the 2nd day. My room was opposite the main road but there wasn't much noise inside the suite.

Rust on the grab bar on the tub. I was there for 2 nights. On the 2nd day, the bathroom was cleaned up, so why not also do the bed? Wifi was not working properly!

Great hotel near Siesta Key Beach. Got us in at the last minute. Dog friendly. Very nice staff. Very clean; everything worked great. A very good overnight stay!!

The thin walls with the room full of men next door watching some sport loudly past midnight. But the staff was very helpful and I was so tired I slept. My dog, however, was annoyed. Truly not a big deal because everything else was perfect. A great place for older folks looking for a place close to the beach for a week or two. I saw lots of happy stayers there. Very, very nice staff.

It Is close to beaches, dinning & shopping. The frog 🐸 hop was nice we didn't have to drive. we just called them up they take u to and from what ever you want to do. It's free they work on tips😎

The (2) rooms are large, very clean, had everything we needed including kitchen, table and chairs inside and outside. Very nicely remodeled older motel, completely updated. Pool was clean and welcoming. Staff was always friendly and helpful. It's easy to walk to the beach if you wish, about 1/2 mile on sidewalks. Good location for other activities as you're a block away from US 41.

I couldn't figure out how to use the combination microwave/oven when I wanted to bake something so I googled the instruction manual. Maybe they should put directions in the kitchen!
