Fabulous hotel restaurant. We ate their first night of our stay. Room was nice but a bit small. Comfortable bed and nice shower. Great location for us as near metro and family who live locally..

Front desk people were polite but not particularly friendly in our brief encounters.

The room was on the small side, but clean, comfortable beds, pillows and nice bedding, large walk in shower, The staff were all very friendly and professional. The restaurant on site was independent of the hotel, with amazing food!

Refrigerator in room... there was s a built in "cooler" with only enough room for a few bottles of water, it was room temperature and unable to adjust. We were only able to leave our luggage for 2 hours after check-out which ruined our plans for our last day. This has been a nice amenity every where else I've stayed, next time I book a hotel I'll ask about that first!

The location was ideal being very close to restaurants as well as the Alexandria Amtrak station. The in-room facilities were very nice and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free, which was nice as many chain hotels are charging for in bigger cities these days.

I was able to hear my one neighbor snoring (I had an end room so there was only one neighbor). This may have been due to thin walls or it could have been because the neighbor snored like a freight train. The hotel cannot be faulted for other guests sleeping habits so they can't be held responsible...but keep in mind that it is possible to hear your neighbors if they are loud.

Easy hop, skip and a jump from both the metro/train at King St. Easy walk down to Old Town Alexandria to all the shops and eateries. Road noise was minimal and staff were perfect for my needs. Would recommend another stay in the future as I've stayed in multiple places in town. Avoids the resort fee upcharge in Old Town with only a slightly longer walk to things.

Didn't have any concerns on my stay. Restaurant downstairs at times ins the lobby combined was smelled like the fragrance of air freshener mixed with curry. Made for some odd combinations going in and out of the hotel.

Alexandria is a charming town with a lively centre. I consider the location near the Potomac a bonus, just like the excellent access to the metro lines for reaching Washington and Dulles Airport. Could not get much better for a business trip from my point of view! The Hyatt Centric Old Town Alexandria is a great place to stay, nicely decorated room, quiet also, good breakfast, would love to stay there again!

It was just perfect!

The hotel is a 5 min walk from the train/subway station, and there is a free trolley that does a loop to and from the waterfront. The location on King Street is walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom toiletries, and the mirror has a clock built in, as well as a nightlight that turns on automatically. There is also a Keurig machine with tea and coffee pods in the room. If we'd stayed longer. We could have made use of the nice robes!

Room was very nice; loved the bathroom - amazing shower. Very comfortable bed. Nice workout room.

Parking - website said parking was available; we thought that meant garage parking. Instead the garage parking was only Valet and we felt we had no choice but to pay the extra daily fees to park because street parking was limited or you have to park far away from the hotel due to the many parking restrictions in Alexandria. Our room view wasn't greatLor, but for a last minute booking, we tolerated it.

The hotel is modern and location was perfect for me as I chose not to rent a car. The King Street metro station is close by and just a few stops from DCA. So much is in walking distance or take the free trolley to the waterfront. The evening staff was especially nice and helpful. I would stay again next time I’m in town.

The ice cooler thingy in the room was odd and leaked water onto the floor when I added ice to it. I also wish there was a pool but that may explain the reasonable price for the quality of hotel.

The Hotel is beautiful and located in a great area. It's close to the Metro station, shops and restaurants. The King street trolley is a great way to get around.

The hotel recommended that we park in Diagonal Street garage. Unfortunately, they failed to mention that the garage only opens Mon -Fri. When we went to retrieve our car on Saturday morning, it was firmly locked away. It took many phone calls and over an hour to obtain our vehicle. Perhaps park in one of the many other garages around.

Very convenient for the Metro station and for local bus links. On arriving late, the front desk was very helpful in telling us where we could find a simple meal near to the hotel. Staff generally are friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom well-stocked with towels and toiletries

No fridge in the room, though these are due to be installed before the end of 2025.
