My daughter and I loved our stay at Motte. The location made us feel Like we were “home” and safe after a day of sightseeing in Paris. Rue Cler is literally around the corner and has plenty of restaurants so we didn’t eat at the same place twice. The staff is so friendly, even our maid was lovely everyday. She is the sweetest woman. Breakfast was perfect. They even arranged a taxi for our trip to Gare De Lyon train station and he was super friendly. We felt safe. Our room was perfect for mother and daughter. We had the deluxe which places the queen upstairs and in its own room. The mattresses were great! We would stay again.

Breakfast looked fine but located in basement so preferred to eat at nearby restaurant to people watch and the 9 Euro breakfast special for a croissant with coffee and orange juice was perfect for us. The receptionist Dorgee (sorry not sure how to spell was exceptional and so helpful. How to get a taxi, use the Uber app, get us a driver to take us to Versailles. Thought she was a part of owner of the hotel. She is a keeper. As we have mobility issues the elevator was important. Bathroom, air conditioning and location were fine. Met all expectations.

Room was very small but we expected that.

Location was ideal, but the people were so fantastic they simply made the trip.

No wash/face cloths always confuses my American sensibilities. Grin

This is a delightful hotel. Right next to the Rue Cler shopping/restaurant district, and walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Seine River. The nearest Metro stop is less than 5 minutes by foot, and there's an ATM machine right around the corner. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and patiently helped us with all our questions. The rooms are small, but not surprising in Paris, and were nevertheless comfortable. The bed, also small, was surprisingly comfortable. The cute little elevator only fits 1 or 2 with luggage, but was greatly appreciated rather than having to haul everything up the staircase. Only gripe was breakfast, which itself appeared great and well appointed, but the basement breakfast room is so tiny our group of 4 could never get in! Might be worthwhile to try and schedule breakfast room timeslots so every guest at least gets a chance at breakfast. But no worries, there were numerous bakeries and brasseries for breakfast just around the corner on Rue Cler. Overall loved our stay, and would definitely come back the next time we're in Paris.

Street noise at night is definitely noticeable, but essentially goes away with the windows closed.

Excellent location, small boutique hotel adjacent to Rue Cler. The neighborhood in the 7th is wonderful with great shops and restaurants. Walking distance to major attractions like the Eiffel Tower, Seine, Ecole Militaire, Tuileries. Very helpful staff.

Rooms are very small which is standard for central Paris.

Location, location, location…everything was walking distance, this hotel is located in the heart of 7th district, one of the best in Paris, you step out of the hotel and you will find nice restaurants and wonderful bakeries! Even the Eiffel Tower is walking distance! But the best of all is the staff! They are so attentive, polite and helpful, always with a smile on their faces! I highly recommend this hotel! If you really want to experience French style, this is it! 😊

I didn’t like that this hotel don’t have English tv channels or cable with English channels 😒

Excellent location with great access to lots of points of interest and the metro nearby. The room itself was quite comfortable and nicely furnished. Staff are also pleasant and the breakfast was good, I would absolutely stay here again.

The only issue was that my booking.com reservation stated breakfast was included, but I was asked to pay 18€ per day upon checkout. This was a surprise as normally I don’t even eat breakfast, and after discussing with the staff, we settled on paying half for breakfast. This issue I hope is resolved for future bookings through the site.

Boutique Place thats clean and the staff was so friendly. Restaurants all around, down the block and across the street. Right around the corner from Rue Cler with everything you need to eat. Also a supermarket on the block and two pharmacies for those things you cannot buy back in the US.

There was a lot of construction noise early while they were building their crepe spot on the corner of the Rue Cler

The breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. They made suggestions for our adventures, and answered our questions when we needed assistance. They went out of our way to keep us happy. The hotel is in an excellent location just off the Rue Cler. Staying in Paris can be challenging, but the staff made it fun.

The room was small and cramped. The twin beds were close together. Newer furnishings might help.

Located in a really gorgeous location with the Metro just down the road. A quaint and petite hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We loved easy access to cafes, restaurants, a pharmacy and public transport. A perfect little place to explore Paris from.

Our room didn't have space for a sitting area. The single bed was a little too hard.
