The location of the property is terrific and we loved the classic Parisienne feel and ambience. There are numerous brasseries within an easy walking distance and we could walk to most tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The male staff member who was on duty the morning of 6 Nov when we checked out was particularly attentive in assisting us with some baggage issues and we would like to be pass on our va personal thanks.

The adjoining/ aligned property is of a more modern but not as personally appealing design. Initially we are assigned a room in this area, thankfully we were moved to a classic room after the first night.

Location is very good, waking distance to major attractions, Back direction is next to a nice neighborhood, happy seeing kids walking to school in the morning. Room is compact yet comfortable settings, very French as expected.

Bit noisy some nights as the room is close to a theater and bar, closed windows can keep noise away .

First of all and foremost of all, the kindness and sincere service of all the front desk people from the booking to check-out was absolutely pleasant ! I felt so welcomed and felt like coming back to a home whenever walking back from a long day out. The room was very comfortable and safe feeling. Decent size for a room in Paris, and I could not mention any more how clean it was. I love to take advantage of taking a hot bath after a long day, but ususally it is hard to do that if the bath tub feels eeky and dirty… It was the opposite here, everything looked nicely renovated in the bathroom not too long ago if not recent, I enjoyed using every amenity. The location is probably the best, it is just 1-3minutes walk to bug stations like Auber, Opera, madeleine, etc.

I liked everything about this place, the noise is there only when other people are out in the hallway since it is a very tight hallway. Like opening and closing door sound and some talking sound. But other than those instant few seconds, it was very quiet and private.

first room they give wasn't good with wall view of the next building and was a bit dark, but when I talked to the girl in the reception she changed the room to another nice one which I really appreciated

nothing of any real importance , just a very minor niggle of the hotel frontage lighting illumination, which were very bright BUT that was because our room was right next to the high powered lamps.They do turn off at I think midnight , but a slightly better fitting curtain would solve this issue .However this is not a reason to turn away from this hotel.

I booked this hotel at the last minute after my passport was stolen and I had to travel from Bordeaux to Paris to get an emergency replacement at the US Embassy. The hotel is a ten minute walk from there. I travel a great deal and was wowed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the hotel. I was also very pleased with the dimensions of my upgraded single room (easily twice the size of the closet I had in Bordeaux) and the comfort of the bed. Given the fantastic location of the hotel, I'm amazed at all I got for a very reasonable price.

Small but comfortable room in a very good central location, close metro and RER stations. The street was very quiet, even with a good, busy bar nearby. The bathroom was small but well appointed.

My wife would have liked “normal” tea bags rather than infusions, but we were in France!

We liked everything in this cosy hotel, where we felt welcome immediately. The rooms are cheerfully white and red, the staff was spontaneous and friendly, and the breakfast excellent. The location near Madeleine is great, close to the opera and famous shopping places like Galeries Lafayette, but still very quiet with almost no traffic in the street. I had already stayed here last year and it was a pleasure to be back.

the bathtub was quite slippery getting out. i think a simple handle on the wall for stepping out is a good idea also for elderly people.

My travel to Paris didn't go as expected. After 40 hours of traveling, I arrived as the hotel early morning, tired. Even if the check-in is from afternoon, the staff did everything to accommodate me and find a room within an hour so I could rest properly before my busy evening. I cannot express enough gratitude, they just saved my day!
