The design of the hotel is brilliant and the smell is excellent. I like that I asked them to decorate our room as a surprise for my girlfriend as a romantic theme to be able to ask her to Engage, and they did a beautiful job, as we were out visiting the city, by the time we came back it was all balloons and candles and red rose petals, thank you!

I didn’t like how they take the payments, they ask for a lot more than expected and use they’re refund 3-7 days if there is anything to be refunded. Pre-authorisation payment should not exist as long as BOOKING.COM specifically says pay nothing until you get there (free cancellation is not really respected, if you charge the customer money 1-2 weeks before, then wait for refunds) I stayed at other hotels and Pay nothing means NOTHING being charged off your account. The pre-authorisation they charged was 1 night equivalent out of our total, and that spoiled the surprise I had planned for my girlfriend because she seen the transaction on our accounts and she then found out we are going to Paris, wich I worked hard to keep as a surprise.

The staff at Tribe Paris Batignolles are very friendly and attentive. The room was very spacious and modern. The bed was large and comfortable. When compared to other Paris hotels, this room felt so luxurious! The location was easy to get to, serviced by a few different metro lines which made travelling to different parts of the city easy - which was good as I was hesitant that staying in the 17th would mean that we were far from all of the Paris action. If I ever find myself lucky enough to visit Paris again, I will be sure to rebook at Tribe!

The hotel was excellent, staff were very friendly when we arrived and were very helpful with providing information on everything Paris. Initially our questions were about getting around Paris, Metro/Bus and these questions were answered. The hotel said they could help with providing bus tickets but we have these already. Overall an excellent stay, comfy and very clean room which we had three, with one adjoining so the kids were right next to us. Very comfy beds/hot shower after walking miles around Paris. We walked from The hotel on the last day to Gard Du Nord and it took about 45 mins, kids and grandparents in tow!

The hotel was close to the metra stop and was a great boutique hotel. We had a family room wish was two rooms (king and double) with a connecting door. This was perfect for us as the rooms are only large enough for two people. The staff was extremely friendly and helped with directions and luggage storage before and after checkin. I felt very safe here. You need your room key to access the guest levels all day.

Nothing really. Our stay was great. Only recommendation would be to have a smart tv or a port for a fire stick. Language was a barrier for our tv enjoyment and this would have help as we never travel without ours.

First of all, there is a very close metro station, so the location is very convenient What I liked about is hotel is the staff friendliness and support. you don't see the same "official" attitude that you see in conventional hotel

At our arrival we were asked for a 50€/day diposit which was nowhere mentioned during the booking even though the room was fully prepaid

We really enjoyed the area, very nice restaurants and bakeries without being overrun by tourists. The hotel room was big for Paris standards and was very quiet even though it faced the street.

We came by car and were able to park in the hotel garage. However, our car (station wagon) did only fit in the handicapped parking spot, which was luckily available. Getting down but even more so up the garage with this big car was a challenge and would not want to do it with a new car. In that case better try to park somewhere else.

Friendly and helpful reception staff that went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Clean comfortable rooms, powerful shower, the hotel had a really nice vibe. Strong wifi and parking available. Excellent location between two Metro stations, with plenty of nearby restaurants and cafes.

The parking is very tight for larger cars, both for getting in and out. But I wouldn't let that put you off. We managed to get in and out if you take your time.

The welcome was very warm, I was even allowed to have a room earlier in the day. The reception staff was always kind and accommodating. The rooms are good size, great shower, nice ambiance and very conveniently located, metro and bus lines just 3-5 min away if needed. Great option for Paris !

The cleaning lady of my floor (6) was rude and despotic. The first day she kept knocking on the door as if rushing me to leave so she could clean, even though it’s my holiday and I can wake up or leave whenever I want. When I did come out she received me with a visible annoyed look, as if I was an inconvenience to her. Second day, checkout, moment 12:00 hit the clock she knocked in my door telling me I had to leave and would come back again 5 minutes after to hurry me and not leave my door. I left the room 12:06 and she was fuming. I am aware checkout is at 12, yet this is hardly the way to treat ANY guests and there are better and more polite ways to treat your guests.

Very good location. About 5 minutes walk to the metro and from there it’s only 4 stops to all the main attractions. Clean rooms, great shower, a very comfortable bed and great blinds too, we couldn’t tell if it was morning already or still the middle of the night which helped a lot with getting a good rest.

Breakfast is not worth 24€/pp, not much of a variety. Not sure if that’s how it is all the time or if it was an unfortunate day for us but they only had 3/4 types of salami, cheese and toast with gem, nothing more. Might have been a bad day but the buffet area is quite small anyway so I imagine that’s how it usually is.
