Good location. Lots of activities. All restaurants are clean and delicious. Foods are fresh and staffs all very enthusiasm.

The property itself is gorgeous and well-maintained! Water views from nearly every angle, room decor is updated/modern, and the restaurants are all well-decorated. Aesthetically, really well done! Service was great! Room service was quick and hot, turn down service would check in daily for towels etc and Butler service a nice bonus (though fairly unnecessary)

We stayed in the Turquoise Tower which is separated from the rest of the hotel but the pool is not! So although there is an adult-only section for lodging, the roof-top/adult only pool was located in another building. There are also people trying to sell you things constantly, which is rather annoying! Lastly, we purchased a snorkeling trip that left from the hotel (super convenient) and were told the boat takes us out to a reef only 2 hotels have access to. In reality, you are taken to the middle of the sea about 10 minutes out, drop anchor and that’s it! There’s no reef! That was quite disappointing and rather deceptive! Please save your money!

The restaurants are ALL amazing, no complaints about any food and there are options for everything, everywhere. Clean towels are available in multiple places around the hotel. The cleaness is unbeatable, All staff is lovely - no exceptions here. Activities and shows every single day. Beach is incredible, the water of the pools are crystal clear. Dolphins are soooo cuuuute, it's a life-time experience. the staff are really stick to their schedule with the activities, always cheering you up and the best to me: no loud parties late in the night after 1 am (perhaps even after 12 am), which means calm and relaxing nights to you so you wake up renewed for another day in paradise. Stayed for 4 nights at the pyramid tower with ocean view with my wife, and i wish i could have stayed for 7. Comfy beds, pillows, temperature and air conditioning and room service was flawless. definitely worth it staying at the Hyatt Ziva in Cancun.

There was a soft smell of sewage coming from the drain of the shower in my room. I was able to manage how to get rid of it tapering it with a dirty towel but simply keeping the door closed is more than enough and you don't feel any smell when you are taking a shower.

The room was comfortable. Food was good.

The moment you arrive you are greeted by staff but at check in you realize it wasn't genuine because they want to sell you on a time share... I hate being in a position where I have to tell someone no I'm not interested in meeting with them for some appointment later. I'm here for vacation and don't want to sit at a seminar. It's predatory and annoying. So after that experience for the price we pay to stay here everything just becomes basic. Also didn't like that they keep 8 dolphin in captivity for our amusement. Not my vibe.

The hotel itself is amazing. The staff are friendly, they have an all you can eat candy shop for kids, the food was fabulous. They have an amazing entertainment team. The pool was warm, i think it was heated the kids loved it !

The cabanas take up a lot of the space and are not included. They are very expensive to book per day and on top on the existing hotel price seemed like a rip off. The result was a constant battle to find a sun bed. If you don't occupy your sun bed for a while they take your stuff away.

The experience was amazing. The resort is very big, with a lot of different kinds of ambiences, huge pools, 2 beaches (one on each side of the resort) all kinds of restaurants (mexican, french, italian, north-american, asian, sports bar, caffee shop, patisserie store, international buffet, night club, night shows, amazing breakfast) and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), amazing staff and the adults-only expecience is even better, with a perfect concierge. For beer lovers, they have a Sports Bar inside the resort, were they craft their own beers of different styles. But they also have many others famous local and international beers. Also loved the resort location, very close to Coco Bongo and all those famous restaurants/night clubs (like 10 minutes walking), Chedraui Supermarket. Also close to Xcaret Hub and Ferry. We would absolutely return to Hyatt Ziva as soon as possible.

We really liked the location. Close to Cancun's most renowned clubs, Hyatt Ziva is the place to go if you are looking for an hotel within a reasonable distance from parties and yet offering beautiful beaches, which are actually hard to find in this part of the riviera maya. No complaints about the staff, always very friendly and never pushy. Restaurants were all good. Good to know: this is a very family oriented Hotel. Lots of kids, no parties.

The room was not special. Nothing wrong with it but I'd rate it as below average. Finding a free sunbed either in the pool areas or on one of the two beaches was never an issue. The only major downside of this resort is the lack of sunshade umbrellas. They are very scarce, if you have a pale complexion or do not stand many consecutive hours and days of strong Caribbean sun be prepared to pay for a reserved cabana... they don't come cheap. If you ask me it isn't a great marketing strategy, people should have a choice.

We loved Everything!!! Once checked inn we didn't want to leave the hotel. We had a perfect vacation with excellent food in all of the restaurants. Great service from all the staff especially our waiter from TradeWind restaurant - Mr. Noel Addie who made our stay am unforgettable experience. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were big and convenient. The pools were amazing and the GYM was great. We will definitely return for another stay. Thank you Hayatt Ziva for a wonderful stay!

A tall western woman wearing a headband at the front desk was very unprofessional. She was a blunt and unbecoming employee of Hyatt's reputation. That was the only problem. The other was quite good.
