I have stayed at the Cromer Country Club in the past, every time has been lovely and very enjoyable, very nice place to stay always superb.

The only thing i have an issue with is a £100 card deposit is taken from you on check-in and this is taken directly from your card this takes days to get back after your check out and i don't think this is acceptable, other places i have stayed return the deposit to you immediately on check-out or it does not leave your card unless you have debits on your account on checkout. I stayed 4 days ago and still haven't received my deposit back. Would like to see this policy changed. Not to spoil things though a fabulous place to stay!!

The staff were excellent, helpful, friendly, and efficient.

Having been a member of Diamond Resorts for several years, we found that the housekeeping/ cleaning is now run on a 'shoestring budget' and whilst we had towels changed and bins emptied no cleaning took place during the 10 days we were there. There were other minor maintenance problems that occurred, but these did not prevent us from enjoying our stay. Also, the food in the on site restaurant left much to be desired.

We felt looked after, as the staff were always available, but we also felt left to ourselves which was an excellent balance. The text service was great, the location was good, close to town, the apartment was spacious, clean and full of light. Everything in the apartment was great quality. It was really peaceful and the pool and games room were really good. Loved the eco consciousness of the resort and the well placed recycling bins.

It was exceptionally hot when we stayed so it was unpleasantly warm, air conditioning would have been amazing. A parasol on the terrace would have been useful.

The rooms were lovely and clean. The pool area and changing rooms were well maintained and clean. Most of the staff were lovely and super helpful. Food in the onsite resurant was lovely and good value for money.

One receptionist was a little unhelpful in our arrival.. we asked if they would mind taking the birthday cake to the reaturant. She snapped and said nope the resturant is nothing to do with us, walked off and closed her office door. The 2nd receptionist on the desk then offered to kindly take it for me which was very kind of her. Shame the other lady didn't have such a welcoming nature about her

Clean and spacious, everything you need. Green ethos. Includes use of the pool, jacuzzi , steam room (although this was out of action when we stayed due to repairs) and sauna. From your accommodation you can walk out the door and take beautiful walks along the cliff tops with sea views and into the wooded areas. Short drive into Cromer town. Overstrand beach is just up the round it’s a little gem away from too much tourist stuff

Perfectly Ok for us as we are mobile but It’s a hilly location to walk around and with stairs it can be an issue for those with mobility issues. There are disabled parking bays and accommodation though so with the car it would be ok.

The hotel rooms are like small apartments with sitting areas and a small very well equipped kitchen. Light and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and we also used the sofa bed in the living room which was the best sofa bed I have ever seen in a hotel room Everything was very clean. Although there are many of these small units within the complex it was quiet and relaxing. Approx 20 min. Walk from town Center.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The only slight criticism I have is that the receptionist on check in was a bit abrupt. A “ hello “ and welcoming smile would have been nice. The receptionist who was on duty when we checked out was lovely.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. It was appreciated we got to use the facilities pre check in. The pool area was very clean and there was a great games and snooker room. Well equipped kitchen, although we did have to buy our own toilet roll as there seemed to be none. Proximity to Cromer is very good and Sheringham is just a short trip away.

There was no air movement system in the room and no fans were provided. We were on the ground floor and it didn't feel safe to open the windows as there was no safety catch on them and they could be opened fully wide. Therefore the room became very hot and stuffy at night. The bathroom fan was extremely noisy, it may need replacing?

Staff were great, all very friendly. All areas were spotlessly clean. A few maintenance issues with the villa, main problem was sorted but the second not solved during our stay, not a big issue. Villa was roomy and comfortable, it was great having the sofa bedding left for us as our son ended up using the sofa bed, so he didn't have to share with his brother! The pool area was lovely, they were very officious with the rules of the pool - probably great if you have little kids, but slightly annoyed our big kids - who weren't really doing anything wrong.

Shower didn't drain properly. Really our only complaint!

We stayed in a 3 bedroom house for 2 nights over the Easter bank holiday and we had such a fantastic stay, The rooms were spotless and we were so lucky with our sea view, which was beautiful. The facilities were excellent in the house, everything was catered for, considered and a conscious effort had clearly been made to be eco friendly which was great. It was cosy and well sound proofed. We were impressed by the customer service and facilities on site too, we didn't try the gym but there were lots of events happening over the half term for kids and we all enjoyed the pool very much. The food at the Amber restaurant on sight was fantastic too, the kids loved the food there and we would highly recommend it! Service was top notch. I hadn't realised when booking the site is the same location as the working light house, which the kids loved to see. We walked down the hill past the light house and found the playing field with a Zipline and swings. ( It is apparently an easy walk to the beach from there but with two young kiddos with little tired legs we drove to the seafront both days. ) Overall, a stunning location and excellent service, we would definitely stay again!

More family changing rooms for the pool would be useful as a family with young kids. Nice refillable bottle shower gel/shampoo/conditioner would be nice to make it feel more luxurious. It would be great if somewhere offered cooked breakfast on site, or if you can do takeaway hot coffee and bacon rolls or similar in the mornings.

We stayed as an extended family group in 4 separate units and had a fabulous stay. The facilities are excellent, the games room for the children is one of the best I've seen and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and so professional nothing was too much trouble. We ate at the on-site restaurant on our second night, and it was delicious. The walks into Cromer and Overstrand were lovely along the coastal paths.

We would have liked to have had access to a bar during the day for on site drinks but realise this isn't always commercially viable.
