Forty winks was in a delightful location, peaceful and very rural but not far from the attractions of North Norfolk by car. We loved the accommodation. It was full of character and very comfortable. The owners live on site but across the garden and were very friendly and helpful. They provided a continental breakfast which we enjoyed very much. We will certainly try to return there as we have family in the area and it is a perfect base for us. We were there for only two nights but would be happy to stay longer for a holiday.

The attention to detail was very good. We like the covered area at the end of the house: it was very relaxing to look out over the country side and watch the birds and the odd deer.

It would not suit us for a stay of more than 3 days, as there are no cooking facilities. However, it was ideal for a short pilgrimage. We will stay here again.

Forty winks was enchanting set in lovely countryside.The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice. Fresh fruit, pastries and cereals and a variety of chilled items. The hosts were very welcoming and very helpful.

The settings of this accommodation is ideal. Very quiet and peaceful. The couple who run it, Sally and Chris are lovely. Very friendly. Can't do enough for you. So much to do near by. We sat outside to eat breakfast. It was perfect. We were there for our anniversary. Had a super time.

The weather. Lol. Sally and Chris couldn't do anything about that.

A wonderful place. Comfortable, clean, a perfect, peaceful location & excellent facilities. Sally & Chris are perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble & everything has been thought of to make a stay memorable. Wonderful!

Everything from the welcome at arrival right through to our departure the hosts were very friendly, accommodation was very clean and the facilities were just right for us. The outdoor seating area and bbq was a nice bonus a disposable bbq was provided. Gunton train station was a 10 minute walk away for the train to Cromer. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and we would definitely recommend this property.👍😁

A lovely quiet place near enough to the coast and things to do, but with a feeling of being away from it all. The owners were friendly, and gave all the information needed about what's nearby.

The setting of 40 Winks is lovely. Very peaceful when sitting out in the charming outside area. The hosts were very welcoming and super helpful , but not intrusive . Will recommend to friends and family .
