The Ship Inn is very close to the beach, good for long walks, The restaurant provides good wholesome food at a reasonable price, drinks, a good selection at a decent price all in all a good place for a short break.

Our room was a comfort double on the roadside of the Inn room 8 smallish room but well equipped, the only real downsides were a very small shower cubicle, if you dropped the soap you have to get out of the shower to retrieve it, also the noise from the kitchen extractor was very off-putting running from 7-30 am to 9-30 pm.

I liked the friendliness of the staff. In particular the gentleman that checked us in (Nick I think) Our waitress Clarice was a treasure. The location was perfect with adequate parking. Restaurant meal was nice.

Just slight feedback regarding the bathroom (room 8) I appreciate the room, bathroom and shower were small, but the design of the shower door made it difficult to enter the shower cubicle. Very narrow space to squeeze in through

Breakfast was lovely. Fresh and hot. Also dog friendly and the dog got a sausage herself. Dinner and other food also fantastic. Room with sea view and done very tastefully. Very modern and comfortable room and bathroom. Would stay again.

Wasn't really anything I didn't like but if I was being fussy then a reception area for the rooms but its a small place - for rooms so its not really required.

The main person who made our stay wonderful was a particular member of staff. He welcomed us,checked us in,served our evening meal all with grace and a wonderful smile and positive attitude. I tried to ring head office in Bradford-upon-Avon to give feedback on departure day but sadly wasn’t able to speak to anyone and after leaving my phone number nobody has yet replied. This member of staff,whose name I didn’t get,is truly a valuable asset to your company and I hope he receives recognition for his amazing attitude to customers.

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel the staff on arrival were fantastic and very welcoming to us and our dog Drum-Stik who also got a bed and treats. We are booking again for my birthday. Loved it and highly recommend

The room was clean and Big the condiments were topped up every day the staff for a very friendly and the location was fantastic. I had the Seaview room which I most definitely would recommend.

The staff were very welcoming on arrival and the Cosy Double room was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable and my husband liked the pillows so much I have ordered a couple for home! Would definitely stay here again if in this area

Enjoyed a very comfortable stay here for a few days on a work related trip. The Ship is located directly overlooking the beach with great views, plenty of parking space and fairly easy beach access down a short set of steps. I had a pleasant room without a sea view but nevertheless spotless, comfortable and quiet - the en-suite was particularly spacious. The food was excellent with a choice of dining in the restaurant or, as I preferred, in the bar where there is also a good selection of real ales. The staff were reasonably friendly if a little functional at times. The only minor downside was that breakfast wasn't served until 9:00 which was too late for me - on the one occasion I was able to try it I thought it a bit overpriced at £12.50. Have sampled various establishments in the area but will probably opt to stay here again next time.

Food and friendly efficient service were excellent, and were very mid to our young alsation dog who was nervous at his first time stay but acted like a pro after a really good experience for him, thanks to all.

Smelt a bit musty. Feels like it needs a bit of a smarten up. Feels more like a 3 star hotel with 4 star prices. Certainly adequate for a day or two.
