. Staff pleasant and the location could not be better. Lovely old building with ornate woodwork and stained glass. Bedroom was good size. Comfortable bed and nicely tiled shower room with good hot water/pressure.

Breakfast was slightly disappointing because there wasn't any fruit other than grapefruit and prunes. Which shows they cater probably for older clientele. No croissants or pastries or Porridge. However a plethora of cooked breakfast in any combination.

A wonderful C19 Grand Hotel building in a perfect location. Many fine period features remain, most notably in the lobby area. My room had a good view of the pier. All was comfortable, relaxed and pleasant. Plenty of spacious public areas and a good bar. It is possible to book a smaller room (without sea view) for a very reasonable price. Friendly staff. Some private parking at the front.

There had been some redecoration since my last stay. Although smarter perhaps, some of it was not in keeping with the period style. The wallpaper in the dining room for example. Breakfast was average in quality, though plentiful and very acceptable for the price.

Have seen this lovely looking hotel on numerous occasions on previous trips to Cromer. For a special birthday weekend, we booked the first night at The Hotel de Paris, and were not disappointed. Not the flashiest of places to stay but so comfortable and friendly and old school. Really lovely. We particularly liked the location - could not be bettered for sea view and atmosphere. Also enjoyed the lounge bar which was still open and welcoming when we came back from the end of the pier show. If you like your hotels shinier and your fellow guests more Instagram, then this probably isn't for you, but we enjoyed every moment. Staff need special mention - truly caring and lovely. Thank you!

The breakfast was outstanding quality ingredients, seated and served very quickly super friendly staff even though they were very busy. Reception staff were also friendly and helpful.

Only thing I didn’t like was parking. We arrived around 1:15 pm parked to the left of the main entrance great no problem, I was told only 10 parking spaces first come first served which was fine . When I checked out this morning there was a line of cars parked behind us and across both entrance exits . My partner found this very stressful , I went to reception and assistant manager I think was called Yasmine was great and very helpful and sorted it in less than 5 minutes can I add I am not complaining I’m just answering the question . It’s a lovely well run hotel with very professional staff thank you for a lovely stay .

What made a lasting impression was the friendliness of the staff from a welcoming hello down to the helpfulness of the young girls on the bar - they are a credit to you. Rooms were dated in decor but very clean and warm, which is a big bonus in the cold winter months !! Overall we were pleasantly surprised and would return again.

Improved decor - but very clean. Perhaps a decaf to be offered in the rooms hot drink selection as lacking. Although stated there was no blankets left by housekeeping in our wardrobe - this needs to be noted as a must have requirement in the winter months. Limited hot drink selection in room (decaf choice)

The room was very comfortable, clean, provisioned, and well decorated. As I was only staying one night B&B, it was the big upside to my stay. I did not need dinner as it was taken elsewhere.

The hotel accommodates coach tours in the main and the collective facilities are run with military precision to keep the "herds" into line and on schedule to leave (e.g. staggered meal times and fixed menus down to what appears on the plate) which may not suit the casual visitor staying for any length of time unless they like that sort of thing!

The building and location are amazing! Lovey staff who were very friendly and accommodating. Room was basic but very clean with a beautiful view of the sea and pier. Great parking right in front of the hotel.

The windows are thin so quite noisy when people pass during the night being loud. Floor was a bit creaky when trying to creep around with a sleeping baby. Shower was only mildly warm, but not a problem as it was warm out. Might be an issue in the winter months. Otherwise, lovely! We’ll be back!

Location is excellent After booking this hotel they rang me to say Booking.com had made an error with this booking because the room was only available for 2 nights not 3. The booking.com app didn’t make it possible to amend our booking accordingly. The hotel were excellent however in refunding us directly for the unavailable 3rd night

The property itself is fine. Booking.com however made it difficult to amend the booking. Tried to reduce it to 2 nights due to the booking.com error but the app advised the room was not available for 2 nights. The cancellation option would’ve meant us losing all the money paid for our stay.

Having read some recent reviews before arriving, I was wary of this hotel, thinking it would be 'run down' and full of older people. But I needed to be near Cromer for an early meeting next day, so 'Paris' it was.. Yes, 'Paris' specialises in 'older guests' and probably has at least a coach full at any time, occupying at least half of its 67 rooms. . But it should be used/considered much more often by younger people, those with families in particular. Okay, the timings of check-ins, breakfast and dinner are a bit restrictive. But it's as near the beach as you can get, is a very imposing building, has a decent bar and has loads of restaurants/shops/pubs within say 150 metres. It's in much 'better fettle' than some reviews suggest. My room (not one of the best, no sea view, quite small) was freshly carpeted, contained new furniture, a good TV, had a decent shower and was spotlessly clean. Paris 'runs lean'....there aren't staff all over the place. But the three team-members I dealt with were very enthusiastic, clearly loving the hotel. Later, whilst I did not talk to them, the team who clean the bedrooms crossed the reception area and they too clearly like their jobs...more than can be said for some who work in UK 'hospitality'. Like a lot of long-established resorts, Cromer is tight for cars/parking. But the hotel has ten parking spaces...I got one, even though the hotel was near full. (Tell Reception so you get 'a permit' for your stay). BUT...finding the hotel by car is not that easy. As you follow the one-way system, travelling between shops, look for Cromer Church (hard to miss) and turn left immediately before it. Within say 50m you can go hard right, slightly left, or straight ahead down a narrow one-way street. Go ahead down the narrow street which bends left as you see the sea. The hotel is there, immediately on the left.

A bit strict on timings and perhaps some would find fellow-guests too old. But look on the bright side...no rowdy parties and you cannot get 'more central' than this

Location and value was very good indeed...sea view was Awesome, and also to watch the sun rise . Staff were very pleasant and could not do enough for you.

Only issue was the rooms were a little outdated which is a minor issue, but comfortable. Breakfast could have been perhaps given longer set times conpaired to just the the hour allocated from 8 to 9. Also a more varied breakfast menu would have been better as opposed to what was on offer daily, which was always the same.
