Warm welcome, quick explanation of access & breakfast room etc. Room was compact but everything you needed, kettle, 2 sm bottles of water, tea, coffee, sugar & biscuits. Bath with overhead shower, there was handwash, shower gel etc, nice towels, comfy bed & nice bedding, quality black out curtains. Everything nice & clean, housekeeping came in every afternoon, if required. Heated towel rail in the bathroom. Ample hanging space & drawers. Breakfast was absolutely superb, the lady that served everyone got everything spot on, nice choice of juice, cereals, yoghurts & full English hot cooked breakfast, or something on toast, one of the best we’ve ever had, well done to the kitchen team. Location couldn’t have been better as right on the sea front couple of minutes from shops, lovely sea view from room & could hear the sea. It was very quiet, we were a bit worried would be noisy with it being a pub, but it wasn’t. Many thanks to the whole team at The Two Lifeboats.

A very old building with typical Norfolk steep internal staircase, outside metal steps easier to negotiate as long as it was dry, no good for anyone with mobility issues. Hot water took a while to run through again an old building/ water system. Bit of a drainy smell from sink when you ran the taps. Lots of information to take in on arrival re keypad code / door access & where to go for breakfast etc. but good information book in the room.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I had not slept well the night before at a different hotel, and I arrived very tired. I was allowed into my room early so I could nap and I was given a complimentary drink as well. The room was amazing. Very special with lots of lovely touches. The sea view was brilliant and they had supplied binoculars so you can look out to sea. There was a comfy chair by the window as well. Everywhere was immaculate and I felt very comfortable in the room and the bed. The food in the restaurant was lovely. I had the nicest ham salad I've ever had and the breakfast was included and plentiful.

I liked everything.

WE had the corner room with double aspect sea view. It was spacious and in particular loved being able to see the sea while lying on the bed! The full English breakfast was superb and cooked to perfection. Great selection of cereals, yoghurts, juices and coffee available too. Claire looked after us at breakfast and was a friendly and helpful host.

The pub works as a table service restaurant and they stop serving drinks early at around 21:45 I think. We would have enjoyed having a drink before retiring to our room however we had to walk along to the next pub for this. It seems a shame to have such a large pub on the seafront and to stop serving so early, in particular to house guests.

The location is amazing, overlooking the sea and right in the town centre. Staff were excellent. We had an issue with our room during our stay (unforseen) and it was dealt with brilliantly and with total professionalism. No car parking but that is not an problem because there are plenty of car parks with a 1 min to 5 min walk away and all at pretty reasonable prices. Our room was decent and perfect for our nights stay. The breakfast was FANTASTIC!!

Nothing except the price. I had no choice because of an event I was attending locally but I would hesitate in the future to pay London prices to stay here again.

Great location and view from the rooms. We were on a cycling holiday and even let us put our bikes inside for the night.

The whole experience was excellent. From the welcome - thank you Eli tothe breakfast - thank you Claire. We could not have been made more welcome. Claire was especially nice and such a lovely lady. Eli was so very attentive upon our welcome. The view from the room was lovely. The breakfast was extremely good with a varied choice, all served by the lovely Claire.

Stairs very steep for my disabled sister, but to be fair I hadn't mentioned that she is not good on her feet!

My friend was poorly during our first evening at the Two Lifeboats. Anna the Landlady was exceptionally helpful to us. Thank you so much Anna. Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay to take my friend home but we hope to go back and would be happy to stay in the same room with a view of the sea from our bed. The barstaff who welcomed us, showed us to our room and served us our meal were all extremely friendly. Thank you once again.

The welcome and hospitality of the team, the food (the breakfast was fantastic, and the enening menu was great), we could book a 1 night stay at the weekend, the location right by the sea. The decor of the rooms and the great tea and coffee making facilties.

Minor irritation was our room had an emergency light that meant the room wasn't fully dark due to the green led Our members of our group didn't gave these in their rooms, so it depended on the room.

It's location The attitude of the staff. I was expected and they addressed me by name before introducing myself. They were very thorough in their breifing of the facilities. Attentive serving staff and keen to offer alternatives if there was not something quite to my taste It was a nice quiet location although the town was not busy.

Timing of breakfast - a bit later than expected but probably did not read the small print when booking. Toilet roll very awkward to reach in bathroom.

Our room was very comfortable, with a great sea view, a well-furnished shower room ensuite, and coffee-making facilities and drinking water provided. Staff throughout the pub were friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfasts were marvellous, and we had an excellent dinner one evening during our stay as well. Being based on the prom was perfect for enjoying the morris dancing festival.

This venue is an older building, and as such stairs are steep and corridors a little uneven. You are warned when you book, so this is not a complaint, just something to bear in mind. The nearest car park (local council) charges £8-9 per day, and you have to pay separately each day unless you are staying for a week or more.
