Stay was fine only problem with this room was access to the bath as the sink was next to the area for entering the bath and the shower screen fixed so getting in and out was difficult for older people like ourselves. This is the only time I have ever had such a problem in this hotel. We always use it and it is usually really good. Fortunately we were only there overnight this time so we managed. Breakfast is always really good here and the location very convenient for us and for exhibition and events in town.

I can't remember the room number now but this issue with access to the bath needs attention in this room in my view. We have never encountered this before in any of the other rooms we've had here but it is a difficulty especially for older people.

great breakfast, sausages were tasty. The room was a reasonable size, it was quiet wells serviced and the location was excellent for our needs. A very short walk to the British museum, and a little further to Tottenham court road and the center. Perfect for us as we do enjoy a walk and felt we spent too much time in the tube on previous visits.

The bathroom was a little small, compared to other hotels, but thats not a problem really. However, there was a bath with the shower, we felt it would have made better use of the space with only a shower, but really it was fine. Im putting that down as I can't think of anything else I didn't like.

I stayed here with my daughter and we had a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to Diamond guests on arrival, which included a room upgrade, complimentary breakfast, chocolates, and a dessert in the room – such a lovely surprise! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, from reception to breakfast and housekeeping. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous bathroom. The location was excellent, just a short walk from Holborn tube station and right next to Russell Square, making it easy to explore the city. A fantastic stay from start to finish – we’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic location for exploring. Clean and modern decor. Staff attentive and polite. It was my husbands birthday and we were given an upgrade in rooms to a king junior suite. The staff had left a cake and happy birthday note in the room and had made a cake out of a towel on the bed, which made our trip that little bit more special. The bar area was extremely clean and comfortable and the restaurant served a fantastic breakfast with a great selection of different foods to suit everyone.

Although upgraded to a king junior suite, it was more like a large room with chairs. A few minor issues with the room, dressing gowns old and frayed and also very small. No slippers. Shower didn’t work properly, needs descaling and scuff marks on shower floor. No instructions for coffee machine.

Everything was exceptional. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. The location for us was fantastic. We've stayed all over central London and for us, this location is the best so far. It was an easy 10 minute walk to Covent Garden/British Museum and the theatre district which suited us perfectly for our needs. The breakfast was amazing with a very good selection. It appears all dietary requirements are catered for as I noticed a gluten free section/alternative milks etc etc. The hot breakfast and continental offering was good and comprehensive. Every staff member we encountered were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately we had sickness on our trip which meant we had to extend our stay. The hotel staff were amazing and looked after us. Staff brought us soft drinks which was a kind gesture and accommodated us with the extra requirements we needed for the room at our time of need.

We normally stay at this hotel when my partner has MS appts at the National Hospital but decided to use it this time to celebrate his 75th birthday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean. The cookies given on booking in are amazing!

Bit disappointed there was no fridge in the room as we normally have to bring injections for my partner which have to be kept in the fridge but assume I didn’t notice this when booking. We got down for breakfast at about 9ish and I was surprised that the pastries and some of the meats on offer hadn’t been topped up although there was some time to go before breakfast service ended. The food we had however was lovely and varied and the staff were really helpful and efficient.

The entrance into the hotel is lovely and smelt great. The staff were friendly and professional. The location was perfect for what we wanted. We didn't have breakfast but we did have a snack in the bar and the food was lovely. The room, albeit small, had everything in it that we wanted.

The bathroom glass shower screen was small so when we had a shower the bathroom got drenched. The water took ages to get hot and at one point, I actually wondered if it was ever going to get hot. The water in the bedroom was £2 which I thought was a bit much and could have been included. There was a shop around the corner so we just went and brought our own.

It was welcoming, clean and was given an upgrade on arrival that we hadn’t asked for. Instead of double bed it was larger, which I missed out on ordering anyway so was pleased.

The only thing wrong was the fridge did not work and we ask the staff to check it as we wanted cold drinks & had an uneaten sandwich left in there, they said a maintenance person would check it and sort it out. Sadly they only moved it in the cupboard from right to left but it made no difference. So no cold drinks in the evening and had to through away the sandwich, not impressed with service to be left with it still not working as we left.

The courier service is also commendable. - Breakfast is very good, with a wide variety of options. - Customer communication is easily accessible and ensures a pleasant stay. - The location is excellent, offering proximity to great bus and tube connections and within walking distance of the city center.

- The room service offers limited value for the price. - During busier breakfast hours, some items are not replenished in time. - The room, while comfortable, is quite small and may be challenging if you have large suitcases. - The fitness facility is underwhelming and noticeably less well-resourced compared to the rest of the hotel.

The breakfast was excellent and fully stocked although we had breakfast near to finish time. Staff were excellent and courteous and location spot on
