Area location was great, close to everything. Reception staff were lovely. We could store our luggage in a locker before we checked in which was great. They also let us keep luggage in the hotel after checkout for a small fee (£4) which was much more convenient for our last day there. They sell bits in the hostel and you can rent towels. They have a laundry room and kitchen area which was really convenient. Ironing facilities as well. Beds were comfy but not alot of space, kept banging my head but what do you expect from bunk beds!

Alot of people staying there didn't speak good English and had alot of international / exchange students as it was a youth hostel so was difficult to make connections but it was great value for money if your just looking for somewhere to sleep. Difficulty with a hostel is that your sharing your room with others so bit annoying that you have to feel you need to whisper if people are sleeping In late or going to bed early... but part of the package I guess! I think next time if were going as a group we will just book a room Big enough for the group size so we're altogether.

Perfect location for my surgery Perfect price as just needed a place to sleep didn't need anything else. Having a disability, the only thing that was a slight issue for me was alot of stair to get to room, no lift. But I managed it. Lockers available in room, had to buy a padlock for £4.50 which was worth it for safe keeping of personal items. Was able to leave and go out for dinner with no worries. Big room available with tables and chairs, also had kitchen area with fridge and I think microwave if I can remember which is great for self catering Location Perfect for shops and restaurants I would highly recommend to people that are looking for a hostel stay

Some nice staff, clean, good facilities, great location.

One of the staff ...sitting facing me on right (his left) was very rude to me. On my arrival another man was checking me in...very nice, when this rude man n,ot checking me in asked my age and said I am too old and pointed to a sign saying noone over 45. I told him I was not told this, he started talking about me buying £107 private room, i cannot afford that per night, he said he would honour my booking this time...i saw quite a few about my age staying?? This upset me..made me feel awful.

I have stayed at several hostels here in London, some of whom have a really high rating, but the experience did not match the rating. This hostel though should definitely be rated higher than it is. It’s a good experience. Super Clean It's nice and clean. As an example, somebody went into the toilet and made a huge mess of the sink. Two seconds later housekeeping made the sink nice and clean again. They clean with bleach too which makes it smell nice. Professional Front Desk Front desk staff are super professional. If something does happen they are all over it and make it comfortable for you. It’s a safe place to stay. Continental Breakfast £6.50 The mini breakfast is good! It has porridge, pancakes, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, breads for toast, cold cereal, tea, coffee, orange juice and apple juice. Vending Machine The prices are quite reasonable in their vending machines too £1 for a can of soda or £1.89 for a Monster. That’s so much more teas than other places that want £4 for an energy drink or £2.50 for a can of soda. All around this place is reasonably priced and a nice stay. The experience is quite pleasant. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like. If I had to pick something I suppose I would pick the vending machines sometimes were used so often staff couldn’t keep up and keep them full by morning.

One of the cleanest hostels i have ever been in! Staff working round the clock to make it clean. Done an amazing job for this. Constantly cleaning kitchens toilets showers you name it, they done it. Breakfast is a paid one but good selection for a hostel Its a good hostel! Great location, bit loud now and again and a bit awkward with the children but understand it is a hostel / hotel... Good sized lockers and really nice staff helping me when i was checking in giving me a free locker to store my stuff and another free locker when i had to check out to check back in. Stayed 9 days longer than planned cant fault them, its a good hostel!

Beds are absolutely back breaking uncomfortable. Im 6ft 5 felt as if i slept in a childs bed. No space to move around. Extremely uncomfortable sleep.

-Each bed has its own plug and a small lights. -Everyone has their own locker (though you have to bring your own lock) to storage valuable items. -There are bed curtains for privacy(though in the meantime they block out the wind from the fan). -Common space is usually rather clean. The location is close to everything, and there’s supermarkets nearby. -There’s A/C in the common area.

-The room was so hot at night, four beds sharing one small fan was not enough. -The WiFi signal on third floor was very unstable. -The hot water in our showroom went hot and cold constantly. -Every time the housekeeper came in to clean, it felt like a jump scare because she never knocks, and she always slams the door when she leave.

I loved the location, very close to the british museum, a beautiful park, the underground station both a sainsbury's and tesco (convenience stores). The city centre (Chinatown, Soho, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham palace, St James Park, BigBen..) is just a 15-20 min stroll away, it was just perfect. There's just enough room for you on your bunk bed and a curtain for privacy. Clean bathroom with a sink inside the small room if you're in need of a bidet substitute. mirrors and outside sink as well. Lockers.

Expect to hear the coming and going of people, alarms going off at different hours in the morning and to have just barely enough space to move around and organize or place/store your things (ex. no closet)

The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating. The hostel was very social with common areas that were often being used, and I was invited to join others playing games and chatting many different times. The hostel had a good variety of people from all around the world, and it was fun to learn about their experiences and stories.

As others have mentioned, the beds were a bit small. I am 5'10" (about 178cm), and I could just barely fully extend my legs, but they were touching the wall. I had one small issue with my room, but the front desk immediately took care of it. The staircases are pretty narrow, so that is something to consider, especially if you have large luggage. The hallways often smelled like bleach and the shower facilities were very small.

Fantastic newly installed showers - wide, plenty of space for your stuff, even a basic hairdryer. The communal place was also great, large benches encouraged starting new conversations and making new friends. Breakfast was an option and I saw a lot of people taking it. Great location - right next to the tube station and 24/7 Spar for your late-night cravings. The staff was available 24/7 which was very convinient.

I am 1.7m tall and I felt like the beds were quite compact, nearly wished they were a bit longer. The place is a bit outdated especially the basement rooms/ corridors.

very nice hostel, has 3 floors, toilets are located on the ground floor and on the first floor together with showers. We were a group of 7 people, we slept in an 8-person room with a bathroom. Lockers sufficient for backpackers, you have to have your own padlock or buy one at the reception, you also have to have your own towel. Beds comfortable but short, the bathroom in the room small but for 3 days it was sufficient. Common rooms clean and comfortable. You can buy quite a good breakfast

The room was very narrow, not much space to walk. Poor ventilation in the room, at the beginning of March we slept with the window open because it was very stuffy.
