Everythig!We had a fantastic experience at Emotions All Inclusive Puerto Plata! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Every single team member we encountered was friendly, professional, and truly dedicated to making guests feel welcome. A special shoutout to Reuben at check-in, who made all the difference for us. Since we were only staying for one night, he took the time to guide us through the best ways to enjoy our short stay. His recommendations were spot on, and thanks to him, we made the most of our time at the resort. As someone with a background in food service, I was particularly impressed with the buffet's attention to food safety. The cold items were kept at proper temperatures using a specialized refrigerated display, ensuring freshness and safety. The hot dishes were beautifully presented in covered warmers, maintaining their heat and quality. This level of care in food presentation is commendable. If your budget allows, I highly recommend opting for the adults-only rooms. These accommodations offer exclusive access to a private pool, a cold tub with jets, and a bar, all conveniently close to the beach. It added an extra layer of relaxation and luxury to our stay. The Italian restaurant is a must-visit, offering delectable dishes that delighted our palates. However, my absolute favorite amenities were the 24-hour room service and the coffee bar. The coffee bar served the best coffee I had during our entire visit; the beans were rich and expertly prepared, making each cup a true delight. The resort itself is beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms, great dining options, and a stunning beach. But what truly sets this place apart is the amazing service. We left wishing we could have stayed longer!

The only negative I can say is I wish security would keep all the salespeople off the beach—or perhaps have a designated "Don't Bother Me" section that non-VIP guests could use. It was frustrating to be trying to relax or even asleep and have both locals and hotel staff repeatedly approach me to sell something or push a tour. But If you're looking for a resort where the staff genuinely cares about your experience and offers top-notch amenities, this is the place. Highly recommend!

During my trip to Puerto Plata, I stayed at four different resorts, and Emotions All Inclusive Puerto Plata was by far the best in terms of comfort, amenities, and overall experience. The beds were the most comfortable I encountered during my stay in the area. After long days of exploring, I truly appreciated being able to sink into a plush, cozy bed and get a great night’s sleep—something I can’t say about the other places I stayed. The amenities at this resort were top-notch. From the variety of pools (including the exclusive adults-only section with a cold tub and bar) to the well-maintained gym and incredible 24-hour room service, Emotions made sure every guest had everything they needed for a relaxing getaway. The coffee bar was another highlight—serving some of the best coffee I had in the Dominican Republic, made from rich, flavorful beans and expertly prepared. And then there’s the beach—absolutely stunning! Of all the resorts I visited in Puerto Plata, this one had the prettiest beachfront. The sand was soft, the water was clear, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for relaxation. The staff was incredible, always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Whether it was check-in, dining, or housekeeping, everyone was friendly and helpful. If you're looking for comfort, quality amenities, and a beautiful beach, this is the resort to choose. I only wish I had spent my entire trip here instead of hopping between different places! Highly recommend!

The showers need to be sloped more so there isn't as much excess water, and the sales people on the beach need to be controlled better. If you say no, they usually go away, but I would have preferred not having to say no. Other than those 2 super minor things, it was perfect.

I've always wanted to visit this place, specially with my kids. The small pool is a great benefit for parents with kids that are leaning to swim and you want to spend the time with them in a controlled environment.

Rooms where not complete at the moment of actually going in. No soap, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc. We couldn't go into a restaurant the first night. Trying to contact the hotel via phone is a nightmare (Even the Credit Card concierge said it was almost impossible to contact the hotel). There was one particular lady at the reception that when I called (the day that I booked) didn't want to assist me with a request and a change. Amex concierge had to jump in and address the request (thank you Amex!!) It was also pretty packed when I was there.

The food not the best, and the front desk when you arrived some people are rude and they walk away in your face.

The pool was nice and the beach was beautiful! The facility itself is nice and clean. Staff are very friendly and nice! The bar area is thumbs up! The coffee shop is a cute space and the coffee is good! The buffet is pretty good as well. It is a kid friendly resort as well with many activities one can do, which is great! Restaurants are good to!

What I didn’t like was probably the night entertainment. It was fairly good but could have improved and the variety of food. But overall a place I would recommend!

Staff was very helpful and kind

The AC unit was working except we couldn’t get to adjust the temperature it was freezing we had to open the balcony door to balance the temperature. Also our bathroom shower head was broken.

The staff are very nice specially a guy probably the skinniest maybe is like 58 years old I don't know his name but he was very kind and a girl I think her name is Jordania she made the difference specially with the kids they are very complicate with the food. Thanks guys.

In the bathroom the shower by the wall almost on the floor looks dirty or molded. Most of the food tasted good but gave us diarrhea. We were a 11 with 3 rooms and 6 of us got diarrhea.

Everything's extra extra extra. Not a way to run a five-star resort. Are your à la carte dinner so they put menus for $10 hamburgers? I own a burger joint. We charge 200 pesos. Going the coffee shop you got to pay for a popsicle. Drinks are mediocre. Definitely not a five star resort definitely not a VIP resort. Food was good. If they change their way instead of trying to grab money, money, money money it would be an amazing place. They don't know how to operate it though

Bedrooms, services and pool

Oregano restaurant, didn’t represent a Dominican Republic. The services and food so bad. And global food that good, but There’s no food variation.

The room and food was very good and first impression are lasting.

I thought there would had been a designated smoking area. I not a smoker and you had people coming next to you while relaxing pool side . Then putting the cigar out on the ground next to the pool to get kicked inside the water. For that kept me out of the pool.
