Clean and modern in a great location. So close to good cafes and old town.

No kettle in the room. You can request them at reception, but you get the kettle and nothing else. It was fine for me as I was just using it to fill up my hot water bottle. However if you were looking to make tea or coffee it would be disappointing as you don’t get mugs or any of the things you need to make a cuppa. No shampoo or conditioner in the shower, just shower gel in a pump on the wall. Also it was really noisy at night. Some guests that were staying at the hotel at the same time as us were making a lot of noise in the evening and early night.

The hotel is very nice, very well located (10 minutes walking to the old town), the room was large, and the price very good, considering the current standards in Tallinn. The breakfast was really great, I liked it very much!

Everything was ok, but the room was very warm, and it was not possible to regulate the temperature (it is a centralised system). Some staff at the reception should attend a course of communication, especially for foreign tourists who expect more smiles :)

Sauna in the bathroom is amazing option for those who love it. My family used it every evening. Excellent location right in the city centre, in the middle of renovated Rotermann Quarter. Old town is minutes of walking. Walking along the see is also minutes away. Breakfasts (11 EUR per person) were very good, with a lot of options to eat (everyone of 2 adults and 2 kids could pick what he liked). Spacious and clean underground parking right under the hotel, the lift will get you from it straight to the lobby. It was not cheap (25 EUR for 24h) but it is the city centre and it is safe. The nearest multi-stored parking would have been 20 EUR for 24h though.

The corner shower leaves you no chances to have the floor dry. I'd say the shower curtain could be twice wider and maybe a bit longer. But with the existing set-up we ended with wet floor (well, not even wet - puddles on the floor) every single time one of us goes to shower. The tap in bathroom could be higher or the sink could be deeper - it was hard to wash hands personally for me.

The location is excellent, 10 min walk to city center and in the middle of a beautiful shopping area with many amenities, most of the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms with exterior windows are great and it is connected to the spa. The breakfast was ok, nothing amazing but alright.

The first room they provided us with didn’t have proper air circulation. The window was sealed and with no AC, only central air system, a bit claustrophobic. Then they changed us to a bigger room with windows we can open but we had to pay 25€ extra per night. I also found ridiculous they ask you 5€ to use their gym which is not big deal + they wanted to charge you for things you usually get in most hotel rooms.

Excellent value for money (during week days). The room is large, clean and comfy beds. Hot water for the shower worked perfect, also water pressure. Location is perfect, just about 8 minutes walking to the old town, and you can find shops/restaurants and malls in less than 5 minutes walk.

Perhaps adding a water boiler and some tea/sugar will make the experience better for the guests. Regarding the keyless system, it worked perfect. You avoid wasting time at the reception, however, opening the room door from an app, feels a bit too “modern” (personal opinion).

We did ask for a twin room and were given a double. This wasn't the best option as I was travelling with a friend. However, the room was big, and the bed was large enough for us to sleep comfortably. The staff did say they would move us to another room, but we decided we were okay with staying where we were. The location of the hotel was terrific. It is so close to bars, restaurants, and shops. It was our first visit to Tallinn, but we both plan to visit again and stay at the Metropol Hotel. Thank you for a lovely start to our holiday.

There was no air conditioning, so we had to open the windows at night. This made it a bit difficult to sleep because of the traffic noise.

Friendly staff, both at the reception and in the cafeteria at breakfast. Ideal location of the hotel. All the main attractions of the old city, theaters, museums, shops, cafes, shopping centers, public transport, seaport - everything is close and within easy reach. The problem with the wall lamps was resolved quickly.

Of the 3 wall lamps, only 1 worked. The TV did not have HDMI access. For Nintendo Switch players, classic numbers are not suitable. Small pillows. Even two are not enough for a comfortable sleep.

Very good location, just 10 minutes walk from the historical center and also 20 minutes walk to the port if you want to catch a ship. Comfortable room and big bathroom. If you stay at this hotel, you have a discount to use the pool and jacuzzi for 3 hours at the nearby Metropol Spa Hotel.

The bathroom has a bad smell from the sewage system. If you close the door, the smell doesn't come inside the room though.

It was my second time at Metropol Hotel and I was satisfied again. Spacious room, lot of space for your stuff, good desk to do your work, spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. If I go back to Tallinn again, I will stay definitely in Metropol Hotel again. The location of the hotel is really good, in a very cool neighborhood called Rotermanni Kvartal, and the Old Town is also very close.
