Great location, right in the heart of the old town. You enter the hostel and the room with a code. There is a locker in the room for every bed and they give you a key for it, and it's pretty big even maybe for a suitcase. They even said i can leave my stuff before check in if needed, but i checked in earlier because the bed was ready. The hostel is overall extremely clean, bathrooms and kitchen as well, the lady cleaning daily. It was very quiet at night. There is a outlet and light for each bed and you also have linens and towel.

There are only a few toilets(2 down and 2upstairs and only 2 showes for all) i didn't have an issue because there weren't many people but in tourist season this might be an issue for some. There was gum stuck on the upper bed where i slept, I'm sure it was just missed because they cleaned daily but the upper beds should be checked better. Lastly, the lockers are kinda loud so might wake up a light sleeper.

Tallinn is extremely beautiful and this little hostel is the perfect place to discover this city. You can walk everywhere and even it’s a short walk to the port to catch the ferry to Helsinki. Great places to eat nearby. We stayed in a twin bedroom and the room was very spacious. It was super clean, with comfortable beds and a big shower room. We also made use of the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed. The staff were always welcoming, with friendly smiles and great suggestions for things to do nearby. Highly recommend!!!

Location is perfect, very close to the Old Town with all the tourist spots nearby. There are very good restaurants and shopping options nearby as well. The rooms are spacious with adequate bed sizes. Clean towel, blanket and pillow were provided. A great plus is the locker facility which adds an extra layer of safety. The lockers are quite big and I could comfortably safekeep my valuables. The kitchen had all essential utensils and oven and refrigeration facilities. There were two large common rooms with television so that it was nice socializing with other residents. The sofas were comfortable and some basic board game options are also available. The cleanliness of the bath areas can be improved. Apart from that, the reception staff is very helpful and polite, with great local recommendations. Overall it was worth every euro.

The cleanliness of the bath areas could have been maintained well. Some of the bath areas felt crammed. It would have been nice if the towels were changed regularly.

I liked the room, the hostel itself seemed cosy, and the location of the hostel is great. The staff were helpful and attentive.

The beds are too soft for me, I do prefer harder mattresses... Another drawback was that the curtain on the window could be more effective in making the room black, it would help sleep better after the sunrise, which in Tallinn can be quite early in the summer. Maybe if the curtains were a bit wider, and of denser/darker material, and installed closer to the window so that there was no gap between the curtains and the wall, that would do the trick. Not sure if there was the same problem in other rooms, or not.

The hostel was amazing! The location was perfect—close to the city center and just a short walk from the beach. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet, with comfortable beds and a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready with local tips and recommendations. The kitchen was well-equipped and the common area had a nice, social atmosphere. Everything felt welcoming and well thought out.

Honestly, nothing major! Maybe just that I couldn't stay longer. :)

16eur - Old Town Munkenhof is in a great location in the Old Town. The hostel was very affordable and perfect for me passing through. I was exploring most of the time so I didn't spend much time in the hostel, but there was several rooms for relaxing and playing games and also a large kitchen. There was complimentary coffee which was really great. Check-in was super easy using the codes and details provided via Booking.com. I really appreciated this

It was a bit noisy at night, but that is just the nature of an 8-bed hostel room so this is to be expected not a fault of the hostel

Excellent location in the heart of the city, inside city walls. Easy check-in and check-out. Big locker with a free key in the room. Comfortable bed. The room was clean. Big kitchen and dining room. Two big day rooms as a common area.

Could be more showers in the place. And the could be cleaned better every day. One of them broke one day during my stay and it was not fixed to the end of my stay. In the other one somebody fall asleep one night and it was closed whole night. The next day it was flooded, so out of service. And another bathroom was dirty for over a day.

everything was really good!! beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the lockers were big. showers and toilets were clean as well, nothing to complain really. kitchen also had everything you need and the common room was really cozy. the location is everything!!! exactly in the centre of old town, every place was close. i meet some amazing people there and would recommend to everyone staying here! will be back when in tallinn

Nice central place. The hostel approved my request for a lower bed which was great. Many different places to do things and to chill around the place. The kitchen has lot of room too. The towel was a great bonus! The toilets seems small but I had no problem at the 1st floor bathroom where I had shower and it was never busy.

The wifi was going off at times. The automatic machine at the reception wasn't accepting my 2euro coin, to get a beer, though it was accepting 1euro and 50cents.

I stayed in a private room with bathroom. The room was extremely clean, bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. You can use a well-equipped kitchen. The location in the heart of the old town is superb. There is no noisy pub downstairs.

No television in the room (but there is a tv-room downstairs). There's a church nearby so you might wake up too early if they ring bells. Coffee automat was out of order but I didn't mind as I prefer tea (available and included).
